you explained this sooooo much better than my current teacher.. love that you added humour in it, makes the math less stressful haha. you've definitely helped this confused hs student.
You legit saved my life. So many people are complaining about the goofing off, but if anything that only helped me understand. I have such a problem with my math teacher because she is as boring as a brick, and not willing to comprehend that its easy to be confused with this stuff. Thank you for personalizing this, and making it easier to understand than my math teacher ever could.
I thank you once again for uploading these Amazing videos onto RUclips. I have now passed my math 40 class at el Camino college in Compton California with an A. Math 40 is elementary algebra which was said to be the hardest math course for students to pass. Watching your videos definitely helped me pass my class with an A and my instructor came up to me and asked me to be a supplemental coach, that's an on campus part time job . He personally wrote a recommendation letter for me and I nailed the interview which consisted of math problems front and back and I had to present a problem on the board in front of the people who interviewed me. I aced my final and class thank you Mr. Adhoot!!!!!im planning on majoring in aerospace engineering and plan to take more math courses and watch more videos of your masterpiece videos. Thanks man. Sincerely Luis Avalos
im doing finite math for my bachelors in game design and how my teachers we trying to bring this back to me wasnt working so well. Not having done this stuff in 10 years really meant that i needed to find other sources. i searched and found these videos. Thank you so much! you brought it all back to me lol
Hi Cristian! Thanks so much for your message. If your school arranges for guest speakers, let your teacher know about it and perhaps I can come visit your school!
Yay Math! I have been watching you since high school! You make math so fun to learn! You are one of the reasons I my major is Engineering! The part where you showed the 3D axis made me very interested to learn more in depth math. I remember this video from high school. I wish more teachers could be like you. You break every step down to the point where I understand exactly what's going on. Math is a language just like anything else and when you teach your students you break down the terminology. I am now taking Calculus 3 and it has a lot of algebra which has brought me back to your videos. Thank goodness for yaymath!
I friggin' love these YAY math lessons. I wish I had teachers like yaymath when I was growing up. These lessons are fantastic with a teacher who has patience and a real skill of breaking down the concepts. Thank you for having these and making math learning fun!!
Haha. The video list summary is the best! So, bold! So, outrageous! So, audacious! Seriously, packs a lot of moxie.... who knew the king could slay math problems with such ease! Thank you for doing this, and your mission to achieve higher standards of mathematical education for everyone by removing the fear and pressure and substituting fun in it's place. I was always fond of math but could never find a teacher that could explain it properly in high school or college, which led me to fail miserably. Thanks to your great sacrifice of time effort and dedication for the sake of others, you have brought back hope for everyone who have otherwise given up, to try again, and succeed. Keep up the good work man! Oh, and if you get bored, you could always go further and do pre-calc and calculus, not that I'm ever going to get that far, but if I did, it would be because of people like you. I shall part now with an excellent quote for which you might appreciate, "If I have seen further than other men, it's because I have stood on the shoulders of giants." - Isaac Newton
I had a test the next day and was stressing with a stomach ache because I didn’t understand this concept. I was reluctant to watch a RUclips video since I was afraid it would be purely analytical and fail to give explanation. My stomach ache vanished a few minutes into this video. You not only taught me what my teacher failed to teach, but made me feel a whole lot better about math. Thank you, yaymath.
From a kid who's struggling in Pre-cal and gets totally lost with Gauss Jordan methods, thank you so much! I learned this method back in Alg 2 with trig and I find it so much easier this way than how my pre-cal teacher does it. It was a bit silly, but I didn't mind it since I usually find math class kind of boring and painful. This was a nice change from how it is in my actual class...thanks again! :)
Oh My God. You saved my grade. I have a test tomorrow, and this section was not making ANY sense. I was about to give up all hope until I came across your video. Its late at night and I finally understand! Ahhhh! I'm so happy. You sir, are amazing. Thank you very much for taking the time to make these videos. Much appreciated! :D
To tell the truth in class I tried so hard to understand it was way to difficult. But once I got to Yay Math it was a piece of cake, thank you.... I really thank you for saving the day. Now i can do my homework
I feel really dumb ,when he was asking questions to the class I was subconsciously responding out loud. BTW thanks you are so spontaneous so watching you never felt boring and I also learned a lot.
yaymath... i like any videos you uploaded here, it helps a lot.... you look so funny but real making me to understand elimination method ... looking for more videos from you................................ thanks Sir
This is a very helpful video. I've been learning this concept recently in Algebra II and my knowledge wasn't all there. Algebra II is also a very intimidating subject for myself. This video helped me understand and prepare for my upcoming test. I really appreciate the effort you took into making this video. Thanks for being so awesome!!
He is using the elimination method; the object is to multiply the top and/or bottom equation so that the coefficients of one of the variables are reciprocal to each other; ie, one is 2x, the other is -2x, or 3x and -3x, etc. That way when the equations are added together, the coefficients will add to 0 --> -2x + 2x =0, and the variable will be eliminated. Notice after he rewrites those two equations, the X variable no longer exists
Thank You for your enthusiasm, energy and knowledge you provide to this online community. I am currently an Algebra II student, and I have learned a lot by watching your video, Thank You.
I've watched so many videos to try and figure out my homework and nothing helped. But after watching your video I did my homework and finally got the correct answer. Thank you so much! Great video :)
Thank you! You are truely amazing. My math teacher does not know how to teach and refuses to learn how to teach. (Amazingly, it's an honors class too.) Thank you for saving me hours of stress and anger. You are the best!
You totally just helped me explain this to my sister. You were a tad goofy but who cares, you did more in 10 minutes than my google searches ever were.
very helpful. I appreciate the humor and light heartedness of it. this one was maybe a too ittle silly but still your videos really helped me lot. thanks!
You are awesome! Thank you for posting these videos. I am taking an online class and your videos are very helpful. You make math fun and not boring. Please keep doing what you are doing!
thank you for making this video! this help my son understand how to do his homework and prep for his test tomorrow. its been almost 20 years since I learned this in high school, so you are a savior!
Thank you very much. I was struggling for over an hour and i decided to look for some help on youtube and i found this video. Im very glad i did because i finally solved the problems i was struggling with . =)
in 8:40 why did he mutlipy by -8 I understand in order to eliminate you will need to have one equation positive and the other negative. but why did it had to be -8
I loved this! I honestly don't know why people are saying it was bad! It was really helpful! Easy to understand way better than my current teacher, although he is a really goof teacher, he just goes too fast for my liking.
It's interesting: most textbooks teach "addition" and "multiplication", but, we can subtract the equations, instead of multiplying one of them by negative 1.
Awww this is a very good way to learn math. how I wish my primary school math class was like this then, today I am sure I am going to be one of the best mathematicians in the world. thanks so much, Teacher God bless you.
so my teacher gives us equations and he starts us off with the solutions being fractions and i get so confused while im solving the equation and my answer would always be off by like 2 or 3 number. i know the steps but can you please tell me what im doing wrong and i solve the equations using the method that you use in the video your help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I literally never could have stood through watching this (even though I needed to learn it, I don't like math) if you hadn't been so funny and all. I watched the whole 28 minutes; I can't usually watch 15 of anything else school-related, especially math. So yeah, idk, thanks ^^
i wish i had a teacher as chill and cool as you
you explained this sooooo much better than my current teacher.. love that you added humour in it, makes the math less stressful haha. you've definitely helped this confused hs student.

THANK YOU!!
This is an awesome video! You're so fun and this concept is A LOT easier. Thank you!
lol, he looks like a wonderful person....
Me: I learned how to solve 3 by 3 step equations
Gamora: What did it cost?
Me: A bath full of cringe
Haha, it's very refreshing to cringe when you're stressed. It's quite enjoyable to be honest.

This is the best video of this by far. Thank you so very much, you've made my day
Did you have a kid by the name of Brian Courtade in that class?
thanks YAYMATH for this fun filled tutorial, really appreciate that! it totally helps!
I'm enjoying your math videos, thanks.
Hey , you re making maths fun ,, cheers

Thanks for the video these problems intimidate me, but im getting more confident, and now I just have to gain confidence using the matrix!
thank you very much Yaymath :)
Thank you very much. I was struggling for over an hour and i decided to look for some help on youtube and i found this video. Im very glad i did because i finally solved the problems i was struggling with . =)
I literally just watched this just to see the costume
Yeah this really does help! Thanks for the vidoes!
in 8:40 why did he mutlipy by -8 I understand in order to eliminate you will need to have one equation positive and the other negative. but why did it had to be -8
oh I get it
If it is a multiple choice question can you just substitute the values in the equation and see the pair of values that make the equation true.
i honestly did not understand this at all until i watched this video, thankyou so much!
these are so helpful. i wish you were my teacher!
hahahaha i love your channel and the things you do to make your class fun :)
Best.. Math teacher.. EVER .
I loved this! I honestly don't know why people are saying it was bad! It was really helpful! Easy to understand way better than my current teacher, although he is a really goof teacher, he just goes too fast for my liking.
Wow! Amazing teacher. It was very fun and easy for me to understand (1000xs better than how my teacher taught me)
Great explanation.
I loved you, you're super funny. PLUS that ring tone, Bobby V - Slow Down. Ommmg xD I wish you were my math teacher.
Honestly, wish I had a teacher like you.. Greets from The Netherlands!!
I wish my math teacher would be this awesome
It's interesting: most textbooks teach "addition" and "multiplication", but, we can subtract the equations, instead of multiplying one of them by negative 1.
Thank you so much now I'm learning my math again without been in school I still like to learn more this help me a lot about math even more..
nice one , the king, you really helped me
what happened to the -12 on the second equation ?
i learn more in 20 minutes than i do with my algebra 2 teacher in an hour and a half.
Oh my gosh where has this freaking been in my life????
Awww this is a very good way to learn math. how I wish my primary school math class was like this then, today I am sure I am going to be one of the best mathematicians in the world. thanks so much, Teacher God bless you.
He reminds me of my old chemistry teacher who asked us after a tough topic: "Is it clear a mud? Good."
thank you! you make me laugh & i also learn! keep the great job!
you're amazing! thank you so much!
so is this an easier way of doing the gauss method?
Great video yaymath
damn if I had this class I wouldn't beadle to sleep of my hangover
"I will slay her upon her return!"
lolol
Thank you, sir you are a great teacher
Hi, how did you get this number (-2) in the equation? -2 (x+2y+z)=10
Thanks
when you are doing elimination what ever variable you are going to eliminate you have to have one a positive and one a negative for example:
2x-2x=0
so my teacher gives us equations and he starts us off with the solutions being fractions and i get so confused while im solving the equation and my answer would always be off by like 2 or 3 number. i know the steps but can you please tell me what im doing wrong and i solve the equations using the method that you use in the video your help would be greatly appreciated
sorry how did you get negative 1 ,2, and 8 to subtract your equation
Thank You!
I just learned something new. Y eso que no hablo inglés. Good teacher. Saludos desde Argentina
well done thank you so much
Nice vid man my teacher is confusing as heck and this helps a lot and it’s fun to watch! Will recommend to friends :)
Hug received, thank you!
so what happens if the number without the variable turns to zero?
Your videos are awesome because you teach me things and you are very funny.
All hale King Adhoot! All hale!
But in all seriousness, you are amazing. Thank you.
Can you do a video that simplifies radicals involving one variable, such as 2√48n , or -7√x^4?
I'm in love with a math king! thanks :D
You make it look so easy
Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I literally never could have stood through watching this (even though I needed to learn it, I don't like math) if you hadn't been so funny and all. I watched the whole 28 minutes; I can't usually watch 15 of anything else school-related, especially math. So yeah, idk, thanks ^^
Thanks!
Good Job !
Thank you soo much sir...
