When people choose Ronaldo they either say "I admire him for his work" so they don't acknowledge he is better, just he is a role model for them. Messi however is always picked clear by everyone else. Particularly coaches they are the most important voices of the game because they know their sport from a global perspective, it is always Messi. There is no comparison there never was.
