You sound like the kind of person I would love to get drunk/high with and talk about plants :) subscribed!
🥰
White background or not, your videos are excellent--short and informative. By the way, the houses in your neighborhood look huge! Do you have a deck full of plants on your roof/deck? if so, can we see them?
Thanks 😊 yes a roof with a lot of plants. I have uploaded many garden tour videos. You can watch some of the latest ones
Great video, after 2 years from you posting it, i just dicovered it because now i own one of this beatiful plants.
Lovely 😍
Very cool. The gloves are great idea. Thank you for sharing the tips
Ur welcome 😉
Thank you!! For years I've been trying to keep plants in my house and failed miserably and it makes me sad. I got one of these as a gift recently along with a money plant. The money plant, much to my delight, was growing beautifully but the elephant bush began to shed leaves rapidly... I googled and learnt that it may have been due to over watering so I kept it out in my balcony (indirect sunlight) and stopped watering... New leaves came but they are thin and small and i was panicking about it... Found this video when trying to figure out what to do and I'm going to try this... Thank you so much! I sincerely hope I can help the plant. My mom has a green thumb and always had a wonderful garden. My sister has the gift too. I LOVE plants and desperately hope that I can learn to keep them alive!
May your plants love u back as.much u love em
Fantastic video. Very informative and well presented. Looking forward to putting these steps into action to save my plant.
😃
Hey we come for garden education to such videos not for aesthetics and I clicked as i wanted to save my jade from dying... Eventhough a beginner i found ur video hell lot of helpful. Thanks
Best of luck 👍
Thank you!
A thumbs up for reviving d plant.its my favorite. So I thought I must share as to how this plant came into my mother's garden.i was in class 10,my classmate who was living v close to our school shifted to their own house which happened to be near my mother''s.she saw this plant n asked her to give a small piece n lo it landed in her garden n later into mine.i have three v big plants n i adore them.
Wow I love such memories being shared . Thanks Jayashree 🥰
@@Urbanscapegardening welcome usb.my mom called me just now from England.i was telling her about ' vyjayanthi's succulent (elephant bush).we talk a lot about plants.she is 88 years old n has heart problems.i am extremely thankful to her n to God for inculcating this wonderful hobby.

@@Urbanscapegardening definitely USB
Thank you , I just replanted them today hoping they would thrive. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
Super
Tks for u r valuable information😊
Pleasure
I have a lot of succulents, but these are the only ones that have kept dying on me. Sad because they’re so cute! Might need to repot the ones I have in soil that isn’t so moist and move it away from the window a bit. Thanks!!
Ur welcome
Love the authenticity. Anti White washhhh. Love that!!
Thanks ☺️😊
Nice. Lost my jade. Bought a variegated one, that too went off. Will get new one & follow ur potting instructions. 👍🏻❤🌹
All the best

Much needed
Ur welcome 😁
Loved the way you keep the explanation realistic. I am from Bangalore and stumbled upon this video as I have lost my jade plants many times 😢. Thought Bangalore weather is not suiting them.
Thank u and my best wishes for ur jade plant that hopefully won't die on u now
Nice video :)
Thanks 👍
Sir your voice is 😄👍satisfactory
Thanks
Thanks for sharing this. I already killed 2 elephant bushes. They didn't survive after replanting; propagation also failed. Bought another one last month but lots of mealy bugs on it now. Got another as gift yesterday. Hope that will survive.
All the best 👍
Try neem oil, just do some research first! I might help with the bugs.
Good information . In my jade plant some white residues are there , and leafs droping
Could be white fly use neem oil
Thanks
😊
For an informative, succinct, useful video I gave you a 👍🏽 and subscribe. 😊😊
Thanks much 🙏
Your bgm is incredible
Thanks 😊
You have given good information with visuals. My elephant bush plant has lost all its leaves. There are only a few branches left but the main stem is still green. I had repotted the plant 15 days ago when it started dropping it's leaves . After repotting in a soil with sand , perlite and garden soil I kept it in the balcony in the south-west part of my house .It gets about 1 1/2 hours of direct afternoon sun. Watered it once a week but some of the branches have started drying up. Now what is to be done. Could it be still saved? Please help.
It could be rotting from inside......in would suggest u cut off a portion of the green stem and propagate
Soothing voice
Thanks 🥰
Just re-potted mine in nice potting mix, trimmed and fertilised. All the leaves are yellow but the stem is robust and the little branches i cut off were nice & 'juicy'. I have been extremely neglecting this one outside and its pot was overgrown with some HUGE weeds! I have placed it in a sunny indoor position and have my fingers crossed it can be revived (but that the weeds are not!).
👍
How is it doing now?
Live n kicking
Ohhh great! I repotted and the leaves became yellow and is falling off while touching! Will it survive?
If u give it brightest sun exposure it will
Great video! Do you have to have leaves left to be able to revive? The stem is still very green but all leaves have fallen off 😵💫
Not necessarily if the shoots are green but give it brightest sunlight possible indirect
How to save the jade plant during monsoons when there is lack of sunlight? My healthy jade plants are dying in this monsoon.... pla help
Expose it to an outdoor location like balcony west or south pref. Avoid the rain though
I will be doing this to my varigated elephant bush who is curremtly in the same situation!!
That's sad
my plant is completely bare :( all the leaves fell off but the stems still look greenish....will it come back? i have put a grow light over it
Yes it can if u follow the tips above and tweak as ur local conditions permit
Please help ,my plant has completly dried out ,leaves have fallen and the stems are very brown what should I do?
If it's very brown and flaky it would have rot
is it survive in indoor??I need help...I'm unable to keep my plant at outdoor..
Yes it can
Hey. I tried reviving a fully leaves dropped jade by repotting it. Gave little hope with couple of leaves but gone back to completely dry and brown coloured stem. Please help me revive it. I am not ready to give up on it. Any specific care that I need to take to bring it back to fully healthy and alive? It’s rainy season here, and not much sunlight for few weeks from here. Please give me some directions for me to follow and try.
Ya that could be the reason give it ample.light. take it to your balcony or shaded terrace
It is the same plant you posted on ig right? Now I understand its condition...
Yes yes ☺️
What if the stems are still green but, all the leaves have fallen off! Does it still have a chance if survival?
Yes if u take care of its sun and water needs
I really liked your video because it is to the point no more extra speeches like others and also I need one help to grow my jade plant but for that I need to share my plant picture how can I connect to you for this sir ? I want your suggestions so that my little plant won't die, I am most connected to my plant because it is my first plant💝 and I can't let it die like that so please.
U can follow me on instagram
Hey.. My bougainvillea shed all leaves, n stem is also not green when I scratched, but not completely dry little bit wet brown from inside.. Is, any chance of survive,, plz plz mine is, a very old plant.. Thank u
I don't think so don't water it and see
Hey, thanks for the video. My jade plant is completely dried out, its stem and roots are brown and shedding skin. I tried everything to save it but sadly nothing worked. Please help me with the situation. The plant is gifted by someone very special and I can't afford to lose it. PLEASE HELP.
Don't u see any part in the plant that is green?
Hii ....my jade's leaves are fall off and it's steam is green frm inside..... Can you plz suggest me how could I save this??
Pls follow the same method as explained...trim very less in your case
When tried repotting my dying elephant bush,i found there are barely any roots left. Can it be revived?
Cut few stems n propagate
What if there are no leaves left on the plant? It is still green when you scratch it.
Put it good fertilizer and place it in sunlight
Hi thanks for the video. Can it die if under watered?
Yea for prolonged periods
What's the procedure to keep it indoors?
West or South location
Hello, i've noticed my elephant bush leaves r still a bit shriveled even days after watering. How can i fix this pls 🙏
It needs bright sunlight. Shift it under a balcony
Hi ...where can I get sand and good gardening soil from in bangalore.
Sand from a building contractor near your home, good gardening soil...you can get vermicompost from any supermarket and mix it with sand. That's a good potting mix.
Thanks for the tips and all my leaves have dropped off. I think I was over watering.
Stress is the primary reason. Yes it could be over or under watering
@@Urbanscapegardening Thanks for the advice. I will be more cautious with the watering.
Does anybody know why he convered the drainage hole??
The drainage hole would otherwise ooze out the soil media hence
Hello sir...I have bought an elephant bush before 10 days...and now it is looking little dull...leaves are dropping and no shine in them😐 plz suggest solution🙏🏻
It could be stress please follow the process mentioned to the T
Nice. Did the same with my jade a few weeks ago, but it died anyway.
Shucks!
Try neem oil, just do some research first!
oops wrong person
💚💚💚💚💚💚🤘🏽
Sir
Can this plant live indoor in bright indirect sunlight.......not direct sunlight?
Yes indirect sunlight is good
@@Urbanscapegardening thanks will send feedback
Why is it so difficult to grow the variegated variety of elephant bush? Lost quite a few of them. Tips to save them please.
These are all tweaked plants so they are more sensitive AFAIK....just take care of watering and give bright sun possible
@@Urbanscapegardening ok.
how often do we have to water them?
Water only when the soil dries
Excellent USB,actually we r down with H3N2 virus b it is v bad
My hand is shaking n difficult to type
Oho....that's sad to hear Jayashree. Hope to see u recover soon....also pls take annual flu shots next time after consulting your doctor...I take my parents for annual flu shots just as a precaution.
@@Urbanscapegardening ohhh, thank U very much for that ,will definitely find out as to where it is administered n take.
Prevention is always better than cure.
What if there are no leaves?
U still can.if the stem.is still green
Very helpful. Xie xie.
How often do we water them?
Water only when the soil dries
White background is not important, like ur video and explanation.U have v nice voice
Thanks ⚡️
Your email is not working
My mini jade is shriveling up after i repotted. I think I shocked it somehow, but it doesn't seem to be coming back. Do you have any advice for how I can save it??
Just taken care of it's sunlight needs give it South West exposure and water only when the soil dries. Try these two and see it perk up
@Urbanscapegardening i scratched the skin and it's not green, it is a mushy brown :( does this mean it's dead?
@MissAmandaPanda1 does it stink when smelled the bark. If yea it is dead.
@@Urbanscapegardening it doesn't smell bad but has a bit of a vinegar smell to it
Then it probably rot. Sorry
Why are you using rain water
It's good for the plant. It is distilled
@@Urbanscapegardening thank you 😇😇
If anyone here removed soil from root ball or pruned the root do not water the plant after repot, I lost a few prebonsai to root rot because of that beginner mistake.
This has been the most finnicky plant I've had yet. This thing seriously doesn't like anything, too much light? Leaves drop. Too little light? Leaves drop. Not enough water? Leaves drop. Too much water? Leaves drop. How this plant manages to survive at all in the wild is beyond me, I'm starting to despise it.
Absolutely not it survives no watering for a long time...sunlight is keey
@@Urbanscapegardening I just finished repotting it, got rid of half the soil it had and mixed in essentially perlite (it's not but close enough) into the remaining soil after clearing it carefully. I honestly think the problems I've had have been directly caused by the place I bought it from- home depot. The soil mix they had it in retained water for waaaaay too long. I mean even in direct sunlight when I was peeling it back it was really moist still. So I'm hoping now by changing it it won't have these issues anymore.
Yes change it this can take some repotting too
@@TheBanjoShowOfficial ALWAYS change the soil after buying from box stores. They are chronically overwatered and the soil they use is to suit their specific conditions (probably to keep plants from drying out during shipping, long periods between watering at the store, etc) and is a death sentence at home.
Everytime i bring the jade it never survived 😵
Aww 🙄
@@Urbanscapegardening all i get is scolding from people at home😂😂, but i m going to follow ur instructions and try once
U will succeed
40% Sand
40% Compost
30% Coco chips
My plant is almost dead😔
Don't give up
Wow my subconcious told me to put rain water💦
Great
