agreed. it sort of felt like the creepypasta community, but there was just something about it that was very "different". maybe it's because of the fact that all of the characters weren't being constantly simped over and that it was actually possible to interact with the myths?
ikr, like i know it was probably just some edgy teens but i really still love them to this day. especially the lesser known ones, those tend to be spookiest

Question, Would it be considered rude to make myself a myth? I thought it was cool but I don’t want it to be insensitive or anything like that! So, Asking yall for advice. I’m just doing it to trauma dump on my main roblox character and thought it could be a myth!

The myth community isn't exactly the nicest. And you'll find alot of them, especially the more well known and larger ones, have done disgusting things.
I've been a myth now for probably five years? And my best advice, to anyone, would be to be careful, and to do what makes you happy.
Design your avatar however you want. Design your games however you want. There are no rules!
Of course, you'll need to interact with the community in the sense of getting roles and such but, just try and stay safe and don't put yourself in any situations that may be stressful for you. Your health comes first, remember that.
(I dont wanna unintentionally scare you out of doing anything. Being a myth, especially one you have control over, is so so fun. You're able to express yourself and your ideas so freely and when other people enjoy it, its the best, but it also puts you in a vulnerable spot, as its personal to you.
i just want to make sure you know what is best to do and not to do before anything, so you can have as much fun as you want, while also being safe and in a healthy enviroment)

Do you want to be a group myth or by yourself? Can you find people you're comfortable with that could form that if thats what you want?
I personally started roleplaying this myth thing back with my friends years ago. And after a while, when we made games to enhance the roleplaying, Myth hunters very slowly got involved and it's near the time i learnt about what Myths were, and realised that's what me and my friends were doing! So, i never exactly had a "plan" or, had to go through the process of deciding what to do and such. It was always just things me and my friends enjoyed, which we still do to this day and love very much >:D
Its completely up to you! You have full control
You can plan a story and design an avatar relating to it, perhaps plan what sort of secrets and codes you'll use, how you'll present them, something to seem more unique to you personally, so on so fourth.
Whatever you decide to do, i am sure you'll do great at it

@@MrsAmnesiary I mean looking at them for simple little details that look nice- not taking the whole oc but referencing bits like a collage, not copying. It’s hard to explain but I take 1-2 colors and 1-2 features and make them my own.
