Thanks for watching my video and good luck. Prepare the support for the vines well, and get up early in the morning when the flowers are blooming. Morning glory is very beautiful in bloom.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! I wanted to see the lifecycle of glories to keep an eye on what might be a flower on my own plant. Flower pods do not look like leaves. I got some plastic trellis posts 2 for $1 at Dollar Tree and used 4 (in my 5 gallon pot) to twist my plant’s vines around. They’re crazy plants, fast and always getting growth spurts. I can’t wait for them to flower. It’s exciting to find out what color they might be.
Thanks for watching my video. I planted morning glory for the first time, and I agree with you. It would be better to get up early when the morning glory blooms. If you want to see for yourself a truly beautiful moment. Good luck to you.
Great video. I thought something was wrong with my first bloom because it curled in after I saw it in the morning. I thought it was from the heat. Good to know that that is by design.
That's really cool! I wanted to do that too, but I didn't know how to do it. I want to see the structure of their leaves. I hope those flowers bloom a lot.
That is the biggest attraction and characteristic of morning glory. The beautiful flowers bloom a lot, but they don't bloom for long. We have to get up early in the morning to see them.
@@HealingSlowly yeah I have many permanent flowering plants like hibiscus(red, yellow, pink, white, double etc) ,yellow, white and red oleander, jasmine, gardenia like plants in the morning when I pick small amounts of flowers for worshiping purpose these morning glories are very please to eyes 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
@@HealingSlowly Thanks for your compliment ! I saw 3 purple flowers in morning but they were very small as compared to your flowers...what's the reason??
Light and water are important for plants to grow, and fertile soil and air circulation seem to be essential. So I use fresh soil and a fan. I hope this was helpful and good luck.
Their goal in life is to grow as big as possible, until they drain all the nutrients from the soil, and then they flower to spread their seeds. So as funny as it sounds, they actually need crappy soil to flower and the worse it is the more flowers you get 😂
They need poor soil in order to flower; they use the signal of bad soil to mean "there is no food left, your time is up, have children before you die". Otherwise they'll keep growing as big as they can until they run out of nutrients. So the worse the soil is, the sooner they flower
for some odd reason, my morning glory doesnt flower at all. It has the bulbs that is about to flower then it just falls off randomly. I have no idea why it keeps on happening Though its only about 3 weeks old
This may be due to a lack of nutrients in Morning Glory. My Butternut Squash is also not blooming with female flowers. Flowering is not easy. Good luck.
@@HealingSlowly noted. ill try to add some vermicast and some other natural fertilizer since i had bad experience with chemical ones (I accidentally did a chemical burn on my basil plants and it all died :(
People think that using chemical fertilizers is a quick and convenient way, but it is not easy to use properly. I also failed a lot, and I don't use it well these days. Chemical fertilizers can be dangerous to our plants.
Can’t wait for my to bloom planted seeds they have about four leaves starting to vine.. I am hoping to give it some support with stick maybe? They are so beautiful thanks for this video!! 💙🩵
I've not seen any as impressive as mine yet... I let them climb a single string and branch to eachother in the ground against a fence with chicken wire guarding the bottom 2 feet. I've got it covering the 8 foot fence without a bare spot and it grows and tangles 2 feet above before falling one way or the other.. One side of the fence has a tree it's climbed up about 20 feet, flowers everywhere every day
Happily Dancing!
So beautiful! My seedlings just started to grow and I wasn't sure what to expect, so thanks for this :) .

I wanted to see if the growth at the leaf base is a young leaf or bud. From this video, I knew it was a bub. So happy!
It's bud, not bub.
My morning glory is only a month old, and already had a little bit of growth between the leaves! @@ssann70

Oooh love this video. I feel for the plant when its got nowhere to go😢

that was beautiful, thank you 👏❤️❤️
Lovely plant and lovely work thank you
Beautiful. Life

I planted 4 different verities pink, blue, sky, and a unknown (no flower yet) and their leaf structures are different 😍😍😍😍😍

@@HealingSlowly yeah they bloom a lot but in afternoon they close very short lived flowers

All I do is grow one or two types of plants in pots. I envy you.😍
After correct 2 months my morning glory's flowering start ...😌😌😀😀🥳
Congratulations! Have you seen the beautiful moment when the morning glory blooms in the early morning? Hope to see many flowers.

Planted mine around Memorial Day and it was a small plant in a pot, not a seed. It is now late August. It has a ton of leaves, but zero flowers.

Very beautiful video. We look forward to using one of these images in academic papers. How can we contact you?
how do you get morning glories to flower so early? i grow them he whole summer, and i still love it but no flowers?

Iam so sad my first ever morning glory plant got spider mites ;_; didnt bloom yet., trying my hardest to save it
Oh... I hope the matter gets resolved soon. I think air circulation is also important. So I often turn on a small circulator. Good Luck.

I hv type grandpa ott. And now he's 1mnth+ (not ready to flowering) i just use normal soil (red soil) 😆

@@HealingSlowly check your p.h. .if p.h. is off it can lock plant out of nutrients
@@ryanennis3199 Thanks, I'm getting more experienced as well.
Watching this realizing I planted one too many right on top of each other 🥵
