I bought a zinnia from Walmart with one big flower and 2 small ones after I planted it it started to die it the big flower died along with the little ones leaves started turning brown so I just snipped everything off and it just shot up like overnight I have 4 new blooms on it right now 2 have opened I’m just waiting for them to dry out to harvest the seeds
My zinnias finally sprouted today. I’m so excited. I’ve been watching time lapses to have an idea of the growth time along with a calendar. And joyfully I can say I’m on the right track.
Plants move around very slowly while they grow. It’s not noticeable to us because they only move few millimeters every minute. Timelapse videos can capture that movement and it looks like they dance.

These are my favorite flowers. I plant them each year. They're so beautiful, and they grow fast.
Thank you for sharing this amazing blooming zinnia flower timelapse! We all love it: )
Only four days and the seeds start to germinate? WOW 🌱
Soak the seed overnight before planting. It will germinate faster. 🙂
@@rapidlapse I was just given a few seeds a few hours ago. I want to try too. Do they need direct exposure to sunlight?
I put mine on a heat mat by a windowsill and the first sprouts started within 24 hours.
This is mesmerizing. Brilliant work!
Thanks!
This was really interesting to watch as I have some that just sprouted in my back yard, nice to see how they develop
Thanks. I hope yours will grow more flowers than mine did!
@@rapidlapse They grew six feet tall and I got many flowers :)
Congrats!
wat a pretty color! cant wait for mine to have flowers ...its been 42 days n.n
All the best! The wait will be worth it.
Would love to see what would've happened once you cut the flower off and it branched into more, smaller flowers.
I 💜 Zinnias!
I'm on Day 11 growing a different varietal of zinnia and so far it looks almost exactly the same!
All the best!
My Favourite Flower 💐
Beautiful video thank you very much i.m goin to does today
The lawn guy weed wacked my zinnias but left some so I'm hoping the grow 😊😢
Wow cool I have one doing pretty well
Nice, I hope you get more flowers than I did. Good luck!
@@rapidlapse Yeah now mine got a flower bud even though it's smaller than yours
@@rapidlapse why didn't your flower Fully open?
It opened eventually. I should’ve continued to film for 2 more weeks to capture full bloom. I had to stop due to logistical reasons.
@@rapidlapse oh ok
That's sad
Can this grow without sunlight
What kind of lights did you use to cause the seeds to germinate?
the petals never opened :-(
Sangat keren,👍
Sir please tell us how you make this animation of zinnia can you make a short video on it ? Tutorial for time lapse videos creating?
Day 5: Oh 4 seedlings, very nice!
Day 6: Oh that's so strange they disappeared.
Why zinnia is dancing in growing up
Plants move around very slowly while they grow. It’s not noticeable to us because they only move few millimeters every minute. Timelapse videos can capture that movement and it looks like they dance.

how many times do you water zinnia in a week?
2-3 times per week. Make sure not to water the plant’s leaves. Keep the plant dry, only water the soil.
I put the seed on with dry hard sand and sprinkled water after covering it, will it grow? It has been about four days and nothing happened
Yes, keep watering so the soil around the seed is moist. It will grow eventually.
What's the best fertilizer used for zinnias?
I’m not sure. I just use the Osmocote plant/flower fertilizer pellets. It’s on Amazon and at most plant/garden supplies stores.
Se tardan casi igual que los jirasoles en dar flores 💐 ...
Why's my zinnia didn't get more leaves, and its 13 days now?
They need a lot of sunlight (or plant light). Maybe wait a few more days and see. Good luck!
You're real, i have now 6-4 leaved zinnias!
super video....congratulations!!
Thanks!

How many seeds in a single pot?
I started with multiple seeds but thinned it to just 1 seedling in the pot after germination.
