I love visiting Lille for short vacations, it's just over 70 minutes by train from London. I was there in May 2023 and did a tour of the Opera House which ended up on the rooftop viewing platform giving a fantastic view over the city, possibly better than the view from the Beffroi. I was there again in May 2024 and need to work out how I can get there again (time and money)
