I really don't like the gimbal. You cant see the oncoming trail after most of the turns and it gets confused by minor bumps. I think this would have been so much better with just a regular chest mount
I solve the issue of the bumbs on my gimbal by designing and printing a 3D piece to hold the gimbal into my chest mount, you can also do it buying the stuntman chest mount or other ones with bigger platforms to attached it directly, and the other issue is true, sometimes i use superview but it doesnt show the speed or the difficulty of the track as much as without the gimbal ...
Superb trail, riders, and video! I'm way too old and broken down to ever be able to do anything remotely like that. I can however fire up my 'Descenders" PC program, find or build a good trail, crank up some dubstep and get in the flow just like you guys. Well, kinda sorta. :-)
Those Austrians must be good riders...why you ask? Because there were almost ZERO brake bumps. Just a few chunks taken out of the top of the berms and that’s all I saw. Looks amazing!
More than that, they just really take good care of the track. If you've seen in the video they've skipped some sections of it ( @9:27 one of my fave banks there because of the boulder on the right), that were being rebuilt. and they do this constantly with different sections. It's truly amazing how much effort goes into this track and it really shows when you're on it.
Everywhere are good and bad riders but they do really care for the tracks as it is in Italy, every evening after the park is closed a crew member drives down the track to inspect and renew parts of it... I love to ride there
I guess that depends on how you define a flow trail. I helped out building a 17,5km machine build trail in Nesbyen but it does have some climbs in the beginning.
WOW! They were going so fast and would still every second he had a chance was riding a manual or something, he was out of breath at the end, I would have been wore out too..lol. So awesome!
fair point, but the suspension doesn't really need to work that much, only when your doubling jumps or casing them... but you should wear protection because speeds can get high and the pavement is really hard, more like asphalt... so crashes can hurt a lot
not just maintain, but they keep improving it each year. There is some rough spots, but they just rebuild those once they get bad enough. And they do it just with lots of hard work.
Not required, but I broke my Collarbone there because it was "too hot to wear a safety jacket" Also, the surface is like sand paper, so the gravel rash is real if you do crash.
I did it last summer. Best day of riding in my life. Based in southern Austria on the border with Slovenia. Amazing!!
Sounds like a lot of fun! 🙌
Me too it was so nice
Looks like the best trail ever
Haydnbrook 03 yeah it‘s great for 4/5 rides
Haydnbrook 03 absolutly boring the perfect trail for noobs but fun is it even

A gimbal is not really necisary on trails this smooth.

Respect. It just keeps going.
1 lap of that is therapy to me
I feel dizzy, but yeah, THAT'S the vid I was hoping to find. Awesome.
That's insane this is now my dream trail! They rode down an entire mountain with barely one touch of the brakes, so sick!
breathtaking. And where are all the other riders? At Whistler it is kids everywhere. bliss to just go flow and no logjams
dude ,, that trail all i can say is amazing..
Ride it twice this summer....mtb heaven !!!🤟🤟🤟🤟💪💪💪
That trail is freaking sweet!!!!!!! Just got added to my bucket list. Nice ride guys, thanks for taking us a long.
fmxrider429 fmx, can U tell me how to get to it?
I guess that depends on how you define a flow trail. I helped out building a 17,5km machine build trail in Nesbyen but it does have some climbs in the beginning.

Wow I Love It The Speed Is Just Flowin'💯🚲🏁👍🤘
It is so much Fun, did it 3 times in a row
Revelstoke Mountain - a trail called 5620 opened in 2019 - 15 km blue flow trail.
Looks like a good track to practice
what's up with the gimbal every time the rider makes a hard right?
This flow trail looks amazing I wish I could ride it!
yesh it is also boop
This looks like heaven. Cant wait for summer im already checking hotels haha thanks guys!
That was siiiiiiiick...seemed a lot longer than 11.5km/7.15 miles!
Wow what a trail... And shapo to the riders! Nice video
It is? Or it is not?
Teo Gaming 🤔do we have an answer yet?
yes it is
Teo Gaming why the ? in the title?
Yes, it is. Took me 10 seconds to Google it for you.
Debatable, Trailforks lists it as 0.6 km longer than 5620 but 5620 is almost double the descent.
I was there in the summer...and it's amazing!
αвѕтRαc†DH can U give me the addresse. Pls?
This is insane!
Great flow trail!!!!! Just rode it today!
Does anyone know what tyres they were using?
Errrrmmmmaaaaggggeeeerrrrrddddd! I wanna ride there!
Looks awesome, but it's lift access.... what about brake bumps from massive traffic, as in the Whistler claw hand.
I need to go now!!!!
I tend to stick to paved and gravel roads when cycling. But this makes me wanna get a proper mtb as well. Looks too fun.
you don't need a proper mtb for that trail, it's like a highway, nothing rough there
Well at least something with a front susp and bigger tires. And no drop handlebars..
fair point, but the suspension doesn't really need to work that much, only when your doubling jumps or casing them... but you should wear protection because speeds can get high and the pavement is really hard, more like asphalt... so crashes can hurt a lot
Do it! Nothing beats a good descent down an entire mountain
looks fast, dreams :)
is this trail made with the earth that is below the trail or is it loaded in. Great trail
What an amazing ride, thanks for the view ;-)
I've do it 2 days ago! Very funny trail!
This route is amazing!
Revelstoke BC has a flow trail that's 15k long and decends 5060 feet
Awesome trail! Just that drop of water in a middle of a screen for some while ;)
Juhu! Petzen fetzen 🤙
I.. want... to... go...
WOWWWWWW..... so smooth.
Man that looks awesome
Going there this summer
Whoop whoop! 🙌
Biker Nerd Me too if U tell me the name of the place!
Me too. Is this your first visit on Mount Petzen then ?
Have a great ride :D
Trail of the dream! Amazing! =)
So... This is what heaven looks like.
Yo this is madness
How do the builders maintain this to be so pristine?
not just maintain, but they keep improving it each year. There is some rough spots, but they just rebuild those once they get bad enough. And they do it just with lots of hard work.
😲😲😲🤘🚴♂️🤘 pedazo de video 🚴♂️🤘
Flow is a the greatest feeling!
Is it Mountain Biking or Bobsledding on two wheels?
very nice flow!!
Fully sick!!
What kind of music do you like ot listen to while riding? Does your taste change with the different style of riding?
Awesome question! Drop your answer, guys! 👇
Wow! Where is that?!? I wanna go there!!!
MKXC in Austria

Haha, good one! 😉
C10H12N2O -> serotonin
Wow fantastic
OMG... ! 😳👍
Revy BC has a big one
Frick'n Awesome!!
Trailforks says it's only 9.5km long? (Still very long) but which is it? :P
What is the camera? Please
I wonder what the average speed was down that hill
Where is MT Petzen!!
that would be fun once
I thought it’s boring but it’s so entertaining!
are back protectors and elbow protectors necessary on this trail?
no. Helmet is required, but elbow, shin, back guards are recommended, not required.
Not required, but I broke my Collarbone there because it was "too hot to wear a safety jacket" Also, the surface is like sand paper, so the gravel rash is real if you do crash.
WOW!
SICK
Is this what it feels like to be in the pouch of a kangaroo. looks like it because of the POV
sick
Yes
Ayt Im packing now where is this place

Who is Peter?
Luis Saller the guy with the bike
That's a whole day of riding in one trail
Pieter pls
*yeah boi!*
this trail wasn't named "heaven" then that was a missed oppurtunity
Im assuming the gopro is on some sort of gimbal, took me a couple of min to realise that it wasnt tilting with him
Where exactly is it?
Petzen Flow trail, google it. Austria
Denis Leskovar oh ok, cheers. I must go there soon! 🤙🤙

But it does...and it's waiting for you! 😉
So FAST!
Просто 100 % нереального адрика
Whose Peter and why isn't he mentioned in the description for this video? Someone give Peter some credit here! Justice for Peter!
It's to bad your gimbal is bad and it can't hold direction very well also the mud drop in the dead center sucked. Otherwise a cool track.
Sadis bneeer
How long is it
at this point 11km.
I can‘t watch gimbal failing like that. It cuts out all the feeling for the trail and the style of the rider. Sorry!
Noah Nelson thx! I guess he figured it out! ;-)
I think this place beats whistler
