Nothing better than moving the coffee table out of the way, and putting this song on nice and loud, with the lights down low and dancing with my bride of 30 years. It just doesn't get any better.
Song makes me cry now. Used to be so fun. But I lost my girl 4 years ago after being side by side for 31 years. Since I was 18. Still its a wonderful and beautiful song. I wish you and your girl a hundred more years my friend. Nothing like being with your true love. Your soulmate.
i honestly think this is why relationships don't last as long as they used to. when music like this was around couple's listened to it and fell in love all over again. music is so important. it ignites the flame that was slowly dying. I will always listen to this music.
it is true, what you say...it has kept me feeling very much in love with my man, even thru the times when I thought I was ready to hang it all up and walk away...love is a great personal investment, in my opinion, and after 20+ years there's a whole lot to lose if that investment is allowed to slip away...nope! I am in it for the long haul and no matter what we've seen or been thru, I wouldn't trade it for the world, and I definitely WOULD do it all again.
Kinda got choked up at your reply. True words have never been spoken, today's people change partners more than they change underwear and sleep around not caring who they hurt!
I’m 25 and can’t stand today’s music. But Dean Martin and Bob Crosby, the four tops and the four seasons, beatles and beach boys, eagles and CCR. These are my tunes. I grew up listening to kono 101.1. What use to be the oldies station in my area. Now they play more 80s and 90s stuff. IMO that’s when rock and roll started on the down beat. Same with country. That died in ‘05.
Played this at our wedding in 81. Favorite lyric in this beautiful song is "You're the one I thought I'd never find". He died in 2019. But we had 38 beautiful years. God Bless. ❤
We're a year apart and I was playing it at 12 and 13 years old , I was so serious about Sandy . I still remember her name ! Because this song was only about her .
Amen! And, we all yearn for those happier, gentler, magical times. Sadly, we can only look behind where we came from but never go back - through music such as this.
I can't agree more😢 born in 67 Been through so many music changes in our lives but I'd do anything to go back 4:03 for a day in 70s. Warm summer nights. Radio and hoping street lights don't come on before your song was playing ughhhhhh good times Easier times. 😊
Love this song, one of his best songs along with the poor side of town, I find it irritating that this song is not available on Spotify, at least I know it will always be here on RUclips!
I was watching a show, don’t know what it was, an interview show, and all the host kept asking Johnny was, was how was it was like playing with BLAH. And Johnny said, you know, I do have some hits myself. It was so horrible to watch, but he was pretty gracious.
This was played during our wedding in August 1977, after all these years when this song is played the years fade and my wife looks the same as she did that day she said I do. Forty years later she still gets to me and I will always love this song!
I’m not old enough to be married but this song. I have never. Ever. Cried over a song so much in my entire life. This song. My dad used to sing this to me every night before bed and we would slow dance together. And I remember having to stand up on my bed so that I’d be tall enough to hug him. And now this song just means so much to me. I grew up with this song. Hearing it for the first time in probably about ten years really just hit me like a sack of bricks. I hope one day I can sing this to whomever I get married to and make it an even more special song
Huge hugs my dad used to dance with me when I was little and he would sing this too. He now has dementia and sometimes thinks I'm my mom...we do not look alike I look like Dad
My husband had this song dedicated to me when we were dating. We were both 25/26 and lived with our parents trying to get our life back, so we had no where to go to be alone without families staring at us. We found an old empty lot close to his house, and we would talk about our future together. We eventually got married and then tragedy struck, he was killed 6 months later! This song is so very special to me!
I had a vision that I would meet a girl and dance to this song with her. 10 years or so later I told my future wife that this was my favorite song and it ended up being our song at our wedding... still going strong 31 years later.

Slow dancing with my sweetheart at junior high dances in 1978. This was one of our favorites. +Todd Willis My thoughts are with you. I could not imagine what you are going through, but please know there are people that are thinking of you. God Bless.
Saw Johnny Rivers last night in Wilkes-Barre, PA. OMG, he still has it! One of the best Rock & Roll concerts I have been to in years. Brilliant composer, singer, guitarist and producers. He deserves to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame far more than many others already in there.
Unfortunately, those chosen to be inducted into the hall of fame are required to have the right politics and social networks, as do those who receive oscars and nobel prizes. Johnny touches my heart every time I hear him sing.
@ Keith Curtis.... I saw him perform in Vegas, in 2004, I think it was. Absolutely Fabulous. ... he saved this particular Song for the Encore. Signed Autographs after the show, he was so gracious, kind, and genuine. I won't forget it.
This song helped save my marriage once when we were having problems. We had a date night and ended up dancing to this song. It has a special place in my heart forever more.
I see comments that Johnny should be in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of fame. I could not agree more. His body of work is amazing. Johnny has brought so many much joy. He is in my hall of fame for sure.
Bill Shaffer. Your Rock'nRoll Hall of fame is really all that matters. Karl Fisher is right , It's just a tourist attraction in Cleveland. It is not worthy of a second thought.
Mega hit at the old roller rink in 1977. The world was a lot better place when I was a kid, at least mass culture was definitely a hell of a lot better.
Oh yea. I agree. The times were better in the 80's when I was a kid. So I can bet it was good in the 70's. It was ok in the 90's. But the 2000's, it seems like people don't care about anyone but themselves and it's only gotten worst in the last 5-10 years. Man I wish people would be like back then. Life was so much simplier and better back then.
+LittleSlim78 I was born in 1990, and growing up in the 90's and 2000's, I can certainly attest that people have become MUCH more self centered and arrogant. My generation, hell, most Americans 40 and younger are extremely arrogant, and at times, very foolish and judgmental. I am fairly disgusted with how people behave in this era.
Caedus Decivus I actually think a lot of millenials are more polite than Gen Xers. Frankly, boomers are one of the worst, most spoiled generations ever. There are squads of old American men that have ludicrous insane views of the world. I think millenials are fine, other than their music is derivative and often, but not always, sucks. Same is true for their art. They are money grubbers, but that's nothing new and there's less money out there to chase. People are over-obsessed with their nothing electronics, but I don't think they are rude generally.
Good to know that there are at least a decent amount of people in my generation that have given a good impression. I suppose it depends on where we live, in some regard. I agree that the tech we have is a bit ridiculous; I've never bothered having a phone any more advanced than a flip phone; I don't have any reason to have computer capabilities on something I hardly use.
There were two Boomer groups, The first and the Echos. The Echoes were late 50s to 64 and we thought the earlier Boomers were nuts to. They went though the country and their lives like a scythe, running up prices on everything and leaving crumbs and such in their wake. There really are two groups of Millennials to, the first and second groups. Second group is in College now like my Daughter. Most book smart folks you will ever know and not a ounce of street smarts. But they do seem to be able to learn from their mistakes so we may be OK with them down the road. :)
J.R. wasn't and isn't underrated. That's all in your head. You might say he's underplayed in 2018, because you don't here his music everyday, unless your looking for it. These songs go back a long time ago. the people that enjoyed these song years ago are slowly fading away. I wouldn't say he isn't gaining new fans but not like fifty years ago. Times change.
Big block 472 except for a couple songs. He made s career out of covering other artists material and reaping the rewards This song is good as well as secret agent man .i.just think his total body of work is overrated
Len Drury Like Linda Ronstadt, he made a killing covering other singer's songs. Like Linda Ronstadt, he had a lot of talent. Elvis and Sinatra also made a killing doing covers ("My Way" comes to mind). My issue is if you think he's highly overrated, why waste your time listening to this tune? If I don't particularly care for a performer, I will scroll through him/her. Just my two cents.
Laurie Lynn...I love you so much...26 yrs. Later..we're finally SLOW DANCIN....together!! I couldn't love you anymore!!!!! We made it honey ... I'm so happy.. THANK YOU....
so sorry for your loss gary. bless you man. just listen to you n your wife's music. she's rite their with you brotha. god bless n hang in their. think she would want that.
My daughter who is getting married June 1, 2024 has pick this song as her slow dance song with her new husband. I’ve loved everything Johnny Rivers ever put out. So nice my daughter and future husband see it also
Truly a beautiful song, and no one can sing it like Johnny Rivers. I remember dancing to this song at a high school dance when I was a sophmore and girls were still a magical mystery, soft, warm and they smelled SO good. Us guys were GUYS, girls were GIRLS, and we guys were very happy with that arrangement. Miss those days so much!!
Judy Marlene sorry dear, but with Auto - Tune the days of REAL talent is sooo over. I so thankful for Pandora and IHEARTRADIO so I can make my own stations and never have to listen to this 21st century non-talent crap. Your taste in music is SPECTACULAR. Have a great day. L8r!! ☺☺☺ ✌ ✌ ✌ 🎶🎶🎶 🎧🎧🎧 🎵🎵🎵 ☺☺☺
One of my Dad's favorite artists. Listen to this numerous times in late '70s as a kid. Johnny Rivers' is a tremendous talent! This song says it all doesn't it? - Guy to girl... 🕺♥️💃
I've been saying that for a few years. It's shameful that some acts have been inducted and Johnny Rivers still sits on the sideline. He will make it one day, I just hope he is alive to see it.
Christine I used to hear the saying once a classic always a classic. Those songs are alive they take us to a place back in time. I remember being so nervous my hands were sweating as I asked this girl to dance at a school dance. I can tell you she had the best smelling hair ever. Anyway that's what I love about this song. enjoy the tune. lol
@@DougWhitman-m9b Music you could sing to no screaming like today. GOD/Jesus bless you Jonny for GOD blessed you with your voice now you can sing to HIM, Earl
Sounds VERY 70ies!!!!!! And when I was in my country there was a radio station that only played old songs 70ies mainly. And it was the only station that Iistened to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was 18 and in the Air Force, it was 1978! Against the odds, HE, and I fell so deeply in love, this was our song, it is now 2013! Oh! man, please, I wish! That he and I had married, how can I say that, because, I can still hear him telling me he loved me and I still can feel his touch! I still.... love him!
I regret not marrying my first love. I would never trade my kids just which they were with him. I loved him and he loved me but things happened and I was a fool. I fantasize about him dream of him. So many songs remind me of him. He’s was the only true love I will have. It’s been 26 years and I never forgot him and I never will
...Johnny Rivers...Voz única e incomparável...Fecho os olhos e lembro da minha adolescência...Época de amor, romantismo...Só quem viveu sabe e entende exatamente o que estou falando...
Very beautiful song it was unfortunate that this was his final hit in n 1977 I was 11 and was just blown away when I first heard it playing in my older sisters room and now 48 years later I still listen to it what a great generation of music I grew up listening to and still do 😊
If it gives you any hope they played it at my senior prom in 2014. They played this and another nice song called “could I have this dance” by Anne Murray
When my daughter was just a few months old it was hard to get her to fall asleep - every night I came home from work I sang this song to her to put her to sleep. Still some of the best nights of my life , rocking my beautiful baby girl to sleep with such a wonderful song . I'll always fondly remember that time of my life. They grow up so fast .
Sorry for your loss Gary C, I lost my mom two years and 8 months ago, man she did like to hear Johnny Rivers sing, so listening to this song brings back a lot of memories for me, God I miss her so much.
It's late at night And we're all alone Just the music on the radio No one's comin', No one's gonna telephone Just me and you And the lights down low And we're slow dancin', Swayin' to the music Slow dancin', Just me and my girl Slow dancin', Swayin' to the music No one else In the whole wide world Just you, girl And we just flow together When the lights are low Shadows dancin' All across the wall Music's playin' So soft and slow Rest of the world So far away and small When we're slow dancin', Swayin' to the music Slow dancin', Just me and my girl Slow dancin', Swayin' to the music No one else In the whole wide world Hold me, Oh, oh, oh, hold me No, never let me go As we dance together In the dark So much love In this heart of mine You whisper to me, Hold you tight You're the one I thought I'd never find Now we're slow dancin', Swayin' to the music Slow dancin', Just me and my girl Slow dancin', Swayin' to the music No one else In the whole wide world Slow dancin', Swayin' to the music Slow dancin', Just me and my girl Slow dancin', Swayin' to the music No one else In the whole wide world Whole wide world
At the end of the 60ies to the beginning of the 80ies music reached it PERFECTION. in my opinion. This is a marvellous song! So many gorgeous songs were written then. wonderful melodies great clever lyrics and great singers and composers....... Now music lost its power .....
+Marlon Hinton The summer of 1981, I would give anything to go back and live it again. I wouldn't change a thing. Start of my senior year of high school. Oh to just dance to this song with Brenda just one more time.
I've always loved this beautiful romantic song since I was a child Now it has significant meaning in my life. I've finally found the one I thought I'd never find!! Thank you Mr. Johnny Rivers!!!💕🙏💕💕
I'm sorry for your loss. At the time this song was popular, my high school sweetheart was killed in an accident. Makes me think of him sometimes and my first year at the university. God bless you.❤

@@paulbillingham6769 if this is Charles Clark he should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame easily years ago
@ Keith Curtis.... I saw him perform in Vegas, in 2004, I think it was. Absolutely Fabulous. ... he saved this particular Song for the Encore. Signed Autographs after the show, he was so gracious, kind, and genuine. I won't forget it.
THIS SONG WILL ALWAYS AND FOREVER HAVE A VERY SPECIAL PLACE IN MY ❤❤❤❤ !!!!!!!!
Nothing beats the 70s love songs! Takes y back u to happier simple times. Thank you mr.rivers!! Memories
Johnny Rivers gave us allot of great songs that will never die. God Bless him & his family 7-17-21
Hey Linda 👋
Greatest Love Song Ever!💕
A lot
This song helped save my marriage once when we were having problems. We had a date night and ended up dancing to this song. It has a special place in my heart forever more.
I see comments that Johnny should be in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of fame. I could not agree more. His body of work is amazing. Johnny has brought so many much joy. He is in my hall of fame for sure.
My body of work isn't too shabby either, hee hee hee.
Yes, He is in your Hall of fame, but the R&R Hall of fame is a commercial sham which does not recognize artists, just money
Bill Shaffer. Your Rock'nRoll Hall of fame is really all that matters. Karl Fisher is right , It's just a tourist attraction in Cleveland. It is not worthy of a second thought.
bravo !!@@sandsoftime1954
I met Johnny Rivers in 2001. He's a pretty cool guy to talk to.
Just once in this lifetime I hope to dance to this with someone special some day ❤️
all good things come to those that wait....
You will and it'll be wonderful 🥰
Me too
Me too, I wish it could be with my first love but alas now she’s married to someone else.
Praying you find that perfect someone❤
Johnny Rivers is so under rated "Hold me, Hold me, never let me go" wow!! That's real soul
mike levine an amazing musician. Way under rated
mike levine that's probably my favorite part of the song.
J.R. wasn't and isn't underrated. Times change.
he didn't write it
My favorite part
Simply the best slow dance song I have ever heard!!! What a classic!!!
This guy is under rated.
Lake Michigan big time. He was amazi g
Lake Michigan hes very overrated. The man has minimal talent
Len Drury You must think enough of JR to leave a comment.
Big block 472 except for a couple songs. He made s career out of covering other artists material and reaping the rewards
This song is good as well as secret agent man
.i.just think his total body of work is overrated
Len Drury Like Linda Ronstadt, he made a killing covering other singer's songs. Like Linda Ronstadt, he had a lot of talent. Elvis and Sinatra also made a killing doing covers ("My Way" comes to mind). My issue is if you think he's highly overrated, why waste your time listening to this tune? If I don't particularly care for a performer, I will scroll through him/her. Just my two cents.
My late husband n I used to pull out the 45 rpm of this and dance to this and Faded Love....yeah, we are from Texas...great memories...
Congratulations!
Chuck Sendecke *
Lol, I thought you were saying you pulled out your .45 and danced to this.
Love the song Faded Love!!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful memories
Songs like this has no expiration date..... it will live on forever.... good memories!!!!
I agree
Long live Classic music
One of the most romantic songs ever recorded. Released on June 11, 1977, reaching # 10 on October 22. Thanks for the memories.
:0 Oh MY GOD, I haven't heard this in so long. So sweet.oh. so sweet. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Don't they?
Mikey Macabre Awesome song. Nothing like slow dancing.
Liz Taylor, young.
Mikey Macabre, Do you want to slow dance with me and then get marry?
In a word. NOPE
It's amazing how a song can just take you back to such a sweet memory!
I absolutely ❤️this song...so relaxing to just lay there & close my eyes & dream...⛅️
Cindy E
This was music that weren't embarrassed to hear coming from someone's car with your grandkids at a gas station!
I agree cindy..
Hi cindy you look like a nice person friend reqeust me on facebook...kevin

First time I heard this classic was on American Bandstand ! Thank you Dick Clark

Beautiful love song. The younger generation has no idea what they are missing.
How in the world I forgot about this timeless classic I'll never know one of my high school favorites! Just listened to it about 10 times 😁LOVE IT! 💞
Had the opportunity to meet his cousin and talk to him on the phone...made my day!!! This was back in 1968.
Hello Joyce, How are you doing?

Awww, love it!!
Takes me back to a time that's gone forever. We remember songs that help us remember moments
It's amazing how music can transform your heart and mind.....
Awsome, song could listen to it over and over again!
Isn't it! Amazing! Music makes my heart feel happy! A widow for 3 years, still got to have music!
Love ballads don't get much better than this one. It really does bring me back to a different era.
I TOTALLY AGREE 😊😊😊!!!!
So pretty, reminds me of warm pleasant nights in my old mustang convertible, why can't anybody make music like this anymore?
your right nothing like the good old music bk in the day :))
No Talent !
I agree the only talent these days is indie music.
"Robots' don't have hearts!
One of my Dad's favorite artists. Listen to this numerous times in late '70s as a kid. Johnny Rivers' is a tremendous talent! This song says it all doesn't it? - Guy to girl... 🕺♥️💃
Love this song ❤
JONNY RIVERS , . for the rock n roll hall of fame
I've been saying that for a few years. It's shameful that some acts have been inducted and Johnny Rivers still sits on the sideline. He will make it one day, I just hope he is alive to see it.
steve miller .... you and both steve miller , you and me both
your so right,,,,, very very right
AGREED!!
larry floyd Y E S SPELLS YES
Gosh, what is not to love about this beautiful song?
Christine I used to hear the saying once a classic always a classic. Those songs are alive they take us to a place back in time. I remember being so nervous my hands were sweating as I asked this girl to dance at a school dance. I can tell you she had the best smelling hair ever. Anyway that's what I love about this song. enjoy the tune. lol
Hi 👋
One of d best romantic songs ever and so nicely delivered thank u
Will always LOVE Johnny Rivers. Saw him in Tucson, AZ in a concert last year. Never lost his wonderful voice. He's still got it!
I saw him in concert back in 74 hear in Tucson. Still enjoy his music and always will.
They don't make music like this anymore.
Judy DeTuccio No they don't, but they should!!!!
Johnny's music had soo much emotion and can touch my soul like no one else. My all time fav!
david surnear sr m
Nope, they sure don't!
they sure don't was blessed to grow up in the 70s and high school days great music and memories
The most awesome music came out of the late '50s thru the early '80s. Glad I grew up thru that era. I sincerely miss it. 😢
I totally agree and think that this man belongs in the R&R HOF !! His songs have been covered by others and yet nothing for him 😢
@@DougWhitman-m9b Music you could sing to no screaming like today. GOD/Jesus bless you Jonny for GOD blessed you with your voice now you can sing to HIM, Earl
Sounds like something that came out of the 1950s really, but it was actually 1977....gorgeous song.
Sounds VERY 70ies!!!!!! And when I was in my country there was a radio station that only played old songs 70ies mainly. And it was the only station that Iistened to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds nothing like the 50's.
Sounds exactly like it was. Mid to late 70's.
I still.... love him!
Go find him, Brenda . . .
Brenda!! We need an update? Have you found him??
You never forget your first love, but maybe a new one will come along. It did for me! We were married for 40 years, until he passed away
I regret not marrying my first love. I would never trade my kids just which they were with him. I loved him and he loved me but things happened and I was a fool. I fantasize about him dream of him. So many songs remind me of him. He’s was the only true love I will have. It’s been 26 years and I never forgot him and I never will
IF I had a vote he would be in the Rock n Roll hall of fame.
Get this man into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame soon and with humble apologies for
the delay.
What a beautiful song, brings back many good memories. I miss the old music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Dolores, How are you doing?
...Johnny Rivers...Voz única e incomparável...Fecho os olhos e lembro da minha adolescência...Época de amor, romantismo...Só quem viveu sabe e entende exatamente o que estou falando...
Falou td😢
Very beautiful song it was unfortunate that this was his final hit in n 1977 I was 11 and was just blown away when I first heard it playing in my older sisters room and now 48 years later I still listen to it what a great generation of music I grew up listening to and still do 😊
This song brings back one fond memory like no other, high school 77, out in the woods, back seat of my 69 Impala, yup.
The kind of song that should be played at high school dances. Yes even nowadays
only if you make a marginally passable movie and then include this in a scene where lots of people fight, or are killed. This is 2018.
Teens nowadays are getting into old-school.
Wow. What a flashback.Learning how to slow dance.💜 Take me back to that time please.
Yep! I wish I could go back!
leann lewis I was just thinking about going to the first high school dance, the first time asking a girl to slow dance...great memories.
I think if you are with your true love just holding her to this the slow dancing just comes to you. Real love. Nothing like it.
NO DOUBT BABYGRL...XO
ANYTHING FOR "MY QWEEN"..XO
FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE AND THE NEXT....XO
Takes me back in the day my friend ❤
OMG! I have not heard this song in so long. It's one of the first songs I danced to with my first husband. It brings back so many memories.
Sorry for your loss Gary C, I lost my mom two years and 8 months ago, man she did like to hear Johnny Rivers sing, so listening to this song brings back a lot of memories for me, God I miss her so much.
Turn down the lights , hold your girl close and fall in love all over again. Best slow dance song ever.
Wayne Sherlock hell yea
Amen to that.
Nicely put! Ahhhh,to relive that feeling again...
@@DdDd-zo2ll hi
Hell yeah
It's late at night
And we're all alone
Just the music on the radio
No one's comin',
No one's gonna telephone
Just me and you
And the lights down low
And we're slow dancin',
Swayin' to the music
Slow dancin',
Just me and my girl
Slow dancin',
Swayin' to the music
No one else
In the whole wide world
Just you, girl
And we just flow together
When the lights are low
Shadows dancin'
All across the wall
Music's playin'
So soft and slow
Rest of the world
So far away and small
When we're slow dancin',
Swayin' to the music
Slow dancin',
Just me and my girl
Slow dancin',
Swayin' to the music
No one else
In the whole wide world
Hold me,
Oh, oh, oh, hold me
No, never let me go
As we dance together
In the dark
So much love
In this heart of mine
You whisper to me,
Hold you tight
You're the one
I thought I'd never find
Now we're slow dancin',
Swayin' to the music
Slow dancin',
Just me and my girl
Slow dancin',
Swayin' to the music
No one else
In the whole wide world
Slow dancin',
Swayin' to the music
Slow dancin',
Just me and my girl
Slow dancin',
Swayin' to the music
No one else
In the whole wide world
Whole wide world
You're the one I thought I would never find.. what a great lyric...
One of the best songs from "Johnny Rivers" "Slow Dancin"
yessssss indeed ole high school days at the dance in the Gym
At the end of the 60ies to the beginning of the 80ies music reached it PERFECTION. in my opinion. This is a marvellous song! So many gorgeous songs were written then. wonderful melodies great clever lyrics and great singers and composers....... Now music lost its power .....
In the 80s and 90s we heard this song always on the radio and it always put us in the mood. ❤
One of the greatest songs ever recorded. So many great memories connected to this song. Oh to go back to those endless summer nights.
+Marlon Hinton The summer of 1981, I would give anything to go back and live it again. I wouldn't change a thing. Start of my senior year of high school. Oh to just dance to this song with Brenda just one more time.
nothing like the good old days of music :))
AMEN -- BROTHER
I've always loved this beautiful romantic song since I was a child
Now it has significant meaning in my life. I've finally found the one I thought I'd never find!! Thank you Mr. Johnny Rivers!!!💕🙏💕💕

Não sou uma pessoa das antigas, mas mesmo assim eu curto Johnny Rivers, suas músicas me encantam demais, todas as manhãs quando tomo café toca uma música dele no rádio
Songs like this makes me wish we could replay the 70's in real life, always loved this song.
Johnny Rivers takes me back to the 60’s and 70’s love everyone
Hello Nancy, How are you doing?
I’d never heard of Johnny rivers. My dad gave me the album. Still a favorite.
I'm sorry for your loss. At the time this song was popular, my high school sweetheart was killed in an accident. Makes me think of him sometimes and my first year at the university. God bless you.❤
Sherri, what I wouldn't give to have you in my arms again dancing at the Music Box in Houghton Lake! ❤️
music will never be the same as the 60s an 70s
Gary may God bless your heart for there is where your wife is and you two will meet there again with this song in your souls!
Beautifully put Robert...and you are so right
I was 14 in the late summer of 1977 🌈. Elvis Presley just died and I remember this now classic came out right before that 💖 ......looking back now as a 57 year old man, touching to my soul 🔔

I was listening to the radio few minutes ago when it started to play. I recognized it instantely and all those good memories came to me. I was a very little boy when I heard it for the first time. So good to listen to it again! Love it! Love it! Those good old days when music was music.
Leblon Ocean. Me to. Was about 7 and remembering my mom playing it in the car. Loved it then. Still love it.
Beautiful. Song. From. A. Great. Singer. Need. These. Songs. So. Much. These. Days.
