One of the things I truly love about aviation and aircraft is how function is so dependent on form. The shape of an airplane is everything - it defines how it will fly. The Bonanza is an amazing example of that. Beautiful - and amazingly capable! Love it!! I have a late model V35B. It is the most precious thing I own.
I had a Straight 35 SN.1325 a later one. It had many A model things such as steerable nose wheel It had the 185 Continental in it, and got about 8 gall per hr. It was very light and would cruise at 135 mph ! Flew her for twenty years and sold her . Such a wonderful airplane the Beech 35!
I wish I could afford one.. I had a Musketeer, and I loved it. I can only imagine how great it would be to have a Bonanza! Thanks for all of the cool pictures!!!
And I'd still like a B36TC with a TAT conversion to TurboNormalized. Oh well, that, and a buck and a half will get me a cup of coffee at the airport diner! That's about as close as I'm going to get right now.
It is my understanding that the Bonanza is almost a Baron with one engine, so I'm surprised that the Bonanza is almost as fast as the Baron even though the Baron has twice the horse power.

After owning a K35, I will always hold a Bonanza in high esteem!
Damn good and fast plane.
What a successful model. It must be an excellent airplane to keep production over 70 years.
Great photos...thanks.
Also one of the most expensive to keep up as well......I miss my F 35.

I love my D35
They sold many.
Every couple of months I’m here again to contemplate this beautiful machine.
There’s something to be said for 70 years in the Sky I think a V-tail might become my first airplane soon that or a debonair
They should've stuck with the V-Tail configuration.
