I found a clean lbz locally today. I went and test drove it and it runs great. 2005 189,000 miles interior is great. Leather interior with Bose sound. All the options. I’m picking it up tomorrow when the bank opens I’m so excited. It’s going to be my first diesel ever. The seller has all the maintenance records as well.
The injectors are probably shot along with the fuel pump does the drive line vibrate and leak oil out of the slip joint and the tranfercase has a pump rub issue water pump replace ,mine only has 72,000 and I've had all these problems
I just found this video while researching lbz's. I am currenting purchasing a 2006 with 108,000 miles for 13k. Im hoping it turns out to be a good buy.
New rockers, maybe check on the body mounts, coat the frame, and a new rear bumper and id call it good lol. sweet vid love the truck, any classic body duramax is a dream truck of mine
Not compared to what they go for nowadays. I just got a 2007 lbz classic with 60,000 miles for $23K. Needless to say there were several other buyers all trying to get it.
All the rust is one thing, but the main reason it’s cheap is cause it’s not a LT3, most people now days don’t want the no option cloth interior trucks. Everybody wants a LT3 with heated leather and sunroof etc and that’s why those are so much more expensive than the base model or standard LT. either way, mileage alone you got a good score.
Good point! The heated/Leather/Bose situation in a fully loaded truck is nice for sure. Since I'm using it as mainly a work truck and not a luxeliner, I didn't mind. You have me thinking about how much a swap may cost from cloth to LT3!
@@AutomotiveMoney it’s doable. Durtymax jack swapped in heated leather etc in the minimax, If you watch any of his stuff. You’ll have to go way back in his videos to find it
What kind of food gasser is that? What year and engine is in it? I'm looking into getting a gasser Verizon the exact same one you have. And is it reliable and not repairing it everyday?
11,000?? Bro that’s amazing, I’ve seen trucks with 280,000 sell for 18. That’s crazy dude
Thank you! I Got a SCREAMING deal no doubt.
This video gives me hope. I live in Ohio and I’ve been looking for a year for that buy that I can feel good about. Congrats man

That's great, but I think that'd be an LLY with a 5 speed rather than an LBZ.
Best of luck with it though!
Just bought a very clean 07 with 126,000 for 12k, deal of a lifetime
Thats insane! Amazing!

If it's a clean title and the bones are good, I'd say you're stealing the thing!
If that's a 4x4 that's a steal. Bring that thing to az if it's a 4x4 and it's a 28k$ truck all day now days
Lucky mutha!!
You got a really good deal. I paid $30k for my loaded GMC LBZ with 104k miles.
Just got my Silverado LBZ for $30K CAD ($23K USD) with 60,000 miles
Found your channel earlier today so idk if you have already but can you do a video on what to look for when buying a Ram??
I haven't gone over any buyer's guides, but I do have some buying vlogs.

They could’ve atleast put a new bumper on it.
For real.

It's a 5.4 triton F250. They get a lot of hate but have not given us issues
Would 150,000 miles be ok for $25k?
It's a fair price. Not cheap, and not overpriced either.
I would say it's safe to say that truck has had a hard 135k miles on it
agreed. With the modifications it's had, I'm sure it was not a "grandpa truck" for its whole life.
@@AutomotiveMoney did you notice that it has only 23.5 hours ?!?!?!?? theres something wrong with that!!
I payed 20,000 13000k miles best investment
Thank you!
I paid $23,000 with 60,000 miles best thing i've done.
13,000k (13,000,000) miles? Geez louise what a testament to its reliability!
