Dion DiMucci. One of a group of young Italian singers who were popular in the 50s. He got serious when he sang Abraham, Martin, and John.
He had previously been in Dion and the Belmonts. They had a hit with A Teenager in Love. They were on the same tour with Buddy Holly, Ricthie Valens, and Big Bopper when those three died in the plane crash. Dion had been invited to join them on the plane, but he thought the price for a ticket was too high.

Hey, I love Jevon's reaction! He 'gets' it ! Dion was just cool. Great voice. Great song ! I grew up in the '50s-60s and this was one of my all time favorites. Jevon you might like Dion's "Runaround Sue." A lot of music then were just great dance songs. To cheer you up. Written for kids to dance to.

Before Dion was a solo artist, he was part of a vocal group called Dion & the Belmonts. Their song "I Wonder Why" is perhaps my favorite song that Dion was a part of, although this one and "Runaround Sue" are good too.

Now this was a really cool song I love it's one of my favourites.
When the group started out they were called the Belmont.
Then their name changed to Dion and the Belmonts and then later on I think sometime in the 70s Dion went solo and he just called himself Dion.
The video you're playing I think it's from the era when they were just called the Belmonts if I'm correct.
Keep the videos coming love all your reactions love hearing what you think about the music that I love a lot.

I’m surprised you haven’t reacted to Little Richard yet! He was one of the founding fathers of rock & roll with Good Golly Miss Molly, Long Tall Sally, etc. He was a hell of a showman. We lost him just this past May.

I remember this well. A North American Top Ten hit in the era just before the Beatles changed everything. Very early 60's if my memory serves me. Some days it does!

As a little girl dancing and singing along to this one with my mom in the living room, she'd love the little swagger I would put on for it.
Such good memories you are bringing back 💗

I love this reaction, you feel music so much, it's a joy to see.
You could maybe give Cliff Richard a listen? Congratulations or Wired for sound or Summer holiday or Power to all our friends for something upbeat or, my personal favorite, Next Time for a ballad :)

This song goes way back to the day before I was born but they used to play it at the skating rink when I was a kid decades ago. And yes, he's letting you know, he's a player, lol! Great react!

Dion was a true RnRoll pioneer. Started out as Dion and the Belmonts. Was popular and made songs for many years. Your taste and appreciation of the early RnR years is impressive. You are usually very , very accurate in most all of your reviews. I know , I grew up to and with these fantastic artists and groups long ago.

I just can’t help but smile and laugh when I hear you describe the song and how you like it. You are so darn cute and by precious, and here I am a 65 year old Caucasian woman who grew up with all this music. I like it when a youngster finds truly oldie but goodies music. Keep up the great work. Keep this old lady happy!

Oh Jay, you just made my day. My husband lived in CA. for awhile and he traveled back and forth to NY where we both grew up to see some friends from time to time. Well, during one visit we met and after riding around in his truck with him for a week or so, I realized that every time I was in his truck I'd hear, "The Wanderer" so I spoke to him about the co-incidence. He answered that he had it on a playlist cause it was his song... he was the wanderer. Well, I don't know if he ever learned that I was the one that kept letting the air out of his tires but after 36 yrs., we're still together. lol I too have it on my playlist on my phone. It is catchy. Thanks for your reaction.... take care and be well. Peace.

Dion is awesome. He’s still alive and writing songs to this day. Has his own YT channel. He’s also in Dion and the Belmont’s. “Teenager in Love” is one of there greats.
