I've actually been wondering about this. Why do you use FL 11 instead of 12 or 20? Do you just like the design better, or is it something else?

i use fl 11 because in fl 20 when you move stuff in the playlist, even though ur in step it snaps like its in fucking none

when you correct it with a pitch corrector, it seems he's singing "come up to meet (YOU)" ending on an A# which is actually wrong accordingly to the original piece. I dont know why many covers are played with that A# when the original is just an A. I did even check in many music sheets and they all are played with just an A.

Can cause problems if you want to publish commercial, like Spotify. I don't think much can happen except the video getting deleted or SoundClouds autodetection, which doesn't even let you upload your copyrighted song.

Use the stretch option by double clicking the accapella... And where you go... Or if you have older version use the e3 option
just set the mode to stretch
Never go from 100 to 128 for remix.. You should go with 105 or 110 instead.
@Bobby Beats you can in Ableton though, as there are algorithms to make it sound better when you speed up a sample. I think there might be plugins that can do this in fl.

Nyloaf remix means you base on the official one and create variations between parts. You can keep the acapella only and then remake the whole song base on the acapella.
That how we all called remix, not only use all of the official one and add stuffs into it.
This is my opinion, it may crash yours, but you have tour own opinion, and i have mine too :). It can come from professional music theory, or maybe just our own theory.

I found the remix first, and this video afterwards. And it feels just the way I do whenever I make music - although I prefer Reason over FL and my end result isn't close to sounding this good...
Lovely remix, and the atmosphere is lovely. Soothing, wide, deep and emotional in the same way. If I would be you, I would re-arrange the melodies and write new lyrics to make this an original song - it would be a good one. If you want the lyrics I made for such a new song (which is not as good as the original lyrics since I am not Chris Martin, just a random nobody) to turn them into an own song, get in touch. Now, I will have a lot of catching up to do, because I want to hear more of your songs/remixes...
