Ant-man's Dumbest Enemy - Caravan Of Garbage
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 2 июл 2018
- Caravan of Garbage returns for an early Ant-man story just in time for Ant-man and the Wasp. This time a classic comic tale from a while back I can't remember specifically when. Also he fights an egg man.

I'd like to see Egg Head in a movie. I don't want him to be the main villain or anything, I just wanna see a live action man with an egg shaped head so I can laugh at it for a few seconds
Yung Reggie he's there now buddy ;)
Did you see Ant-Man and the Wasp?
Movie exists already, it's called cone heads.
Have you never seen Fast and the Furious?
Batman 66
honestly I thought Egghead's move was going to be a device that jams all of Antman's signals to communicate with the ants; I'm happy he went with a much more reasonable approach
Ant-Man: "Where is this information coming from?" Ant: "I'm just telling you what I heard."
Spoilers for Ant-Man and the Wasp:
Ghost's father is credited as Elihas Starr, which is Egghead's alias in the comics. He also has a large, bald head.
He’s also dead
If we ever get an mcu hank pym prequel, I want egghead to be the villain of the movie
@@samjackson9560 yeah and he bumps his head forming the shape
The irony of a super-villain named egghead starting his nefarious scheming by reading up on ants and learning about them, but the actual writer of the comic not learning about ants to write about egghead learning about ants is just too much for me.
In fairness it was 1962, there just might not have been much good research on the topic yet
@@kurtwagner350 ANT MAN FOUND IT
Ant-Man's greatest enemy should be a villain named Anteater
kinky
Ant-Eater Man
FlashPool best idea ever.
FlashPool Pitch it
Or just aardvark
I love pausing the video when Ben fills in the word balloons and just actually reading them as if they were comics.
I have never laughed harder in my entire life.
Cast Vin Diesel for Egghead in a vest

Ant mans greatest enemy is a man with an egg shaped head who has the intelligence of an egg
*Ant-Man and the Wasp 2018 Movie **#NOW** available :* t.co/yKbxp6bhlV
random shit 😂😂😂
From Sonic the Hedgehog?
The title made it seem like the caravan of garbage was his dumbest enemy
Keanu Razzaghi What if it is???🤔
Let's talk about that
Keanu Razzaghi that's everyone's dumbest enemy
Individually ants are stupid, but collectively collonies have shown intelligence similar to primates. So Egghead just needed to convince each ant individually in order to win. How hard could that be?
*ANTS*
TOGETHER
*STRONG*
Cameron Grow so it’s like the opposite of humans.
christianrapper Yeah pretty much huh? Funny.
christianrapper that comment is pure gold 👍🏼
You can't even call an ant stupid. They simply lack any intelligence to speak of at all. They are driven by extremely simple instincts and pheromones. "Eat, Survive, Multiply".
Ants are not smarter collectively. They just work better and can accomplish more collectively. To claim they somehow link their brains together and be as intelligent as a primate is wrong on at least two dozen levels...
The Ant-Man movies would be the perfect series to introduce M.O.D.O.K.
Top ten comments that aged like milk
Eggheads's real power is his deadly headbutts. He can kill anyone with a single headbutt. His head is just so aerodynamic that it reaches the speed of a bullet midway through each swing.
Ant-Mans greatest enemy is hitting his wife
Marcus Blixenkrone-Møller Wasp's greatest enemy is her abusive husband.
The only reason that panel exists is the artist had no idea how to draw what Jim Shooter wanted (hint: Shooter didn't want Hank to smack the shit outta Janet)
Logansolo Howlett-Jones I think it’s a good story
Garbon Bobbotop it is very good. I read those issues the minute they hit my local comic book store. But it made me hate Hank Pym to this very day
Logansolo Howlett-Jones haha *hit* your Comic book store
I want egghead in the marvel cinematic universe
Awesome Person he is now ;)
He was briefly in Ant-Man in the Wasp but might come back
He was in The MCU, but now he's dead.

I think we are all in agreement here, the most dangerous game truly is...an egg.
Eggcellent video gentlemen, it had me quite scrambled!
Vandal Savage James and Maso really have yolk on their faces
jblue1622 Punpoint!
Really egg yolks is no one grown-up on youtube
Im gonna scramble your brain for that pun you fucking troglodyte
If you're doing comics now, try one of those whacky silver age issues of superman's pal Jimmy Olsen.
Like when he gets married to a gorilla, and Supes is like,"Well, it's legal. Sorry Jimmy."
I love these old videos of animated comics, would like it if they did it more often
Didn't know Vin Diesel had his own comic book villain equivalent.
Bearman for Ant Man 3
ComiXProvider FTW_02 bear man's name is grizzly..
He should be able to telepathically command bears like ant man can command ants
Horbiflorbin that would be flipping scary
Giant-Mans greatest enemy is Even-Gianter-Man
Joe King Joe Ant-Man's greatest enemy should be antier-man
Genius
You mean Bigger-Man?
Giant Man's greatest enemy is Bigger Luke
The enemy in the bear suit (I think he’s know as the grizzly?) is actually an old school Spider-Man villain. The more you know
This was great 😂😂😂 I love when you guys look at old comics
You should do green lantern with Ryan Reynolds for one of these
Sheepmode Studios i support this idea
Not obscure enough.
You got your wish, 3 years later
"He"s got the cunning and instincts... of an egg"
" YEA... ILL DO CRIMES" lost it.
To be fair, Ultron is Hank Pym's archenemy in the comics. But most people don't remember that.
hes more of an avengers villain that hank pym happen to make. ultron never really fights just ant man
These Ant-Man stories by Kirby, Lee, and Lieber were about 5 or more years earlier than Ultron, who was created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema during the decline and fall of the Marvel Age in the late 1960s.
@@thewerewolff7248 most of Ultron's fights with the Avengers is him singling out Ant-man.
You all have me in tears of laughter with your video anecdotes and side commentaries.
I still can't believe Mason somehow intuited that Egghead would cameo in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Has there ever been a Marvel villain known as THE EXTERMINATOR, that’s basically just a thorn in the side of all insects and arachnid based superheroes???
...think The Joker or Loki for Insect Superheroes!!!
No but there’s a spider-man villain called... wait for it.... spidercide.
Not patricide, not insecticide, spidercide.
Need to make a Bugvengers!
I had a comic called the exterminator when I was a kid. He was like the punisher his family was killed by fire ants at a picnic.
That’s not a bad idea.
@@toyotatacoma1616 He's the enemy of entomologists AND etymologists.
The mario sunshine music playing in the background when they showed ant man taking a bath was hilarious! The sound effects were on point!
"Leave a suggestion in the comments BELLOW" ... Grade-A choice, prime-cut call back. 10/10
“he’s just a man”, my favorite bit
Ant-Man has got to stop hitting those ants...
He's not suprised me too ant man aka wife beater the things stress makes you do
Mason does a great Stan Lee. At least I think that's Mason
also at 9:15 is it just me or does Egg head and Peter Griffin buy clothes from the same place?
Mumbi Henry he retired in Quahog and raised a family
Nice editing with the comic frames nbs this is actually pretty intresting to watch when you manipulate the frames like that
There was a story in an early 80s Avengers comic where Egghead “goes clean” (right) and gets Henry Pym to help him with some plot to get justice on something or another. The story ended up with Pym betraying and lying to the Avengers multiple times, all during the same era where he was in the doghouse for smacking his wife around.
Things got really bleak for the Pym character and stayed that way for years until a point when he planned to kill himself in the West Coast Avengers comic series (1986?). Yeesh.
In Avengers #228-230, Hank Pym is under Avengers trial for the wrongful death of Egghead. Pym was kidnapped by Egghead, it was made to look like Pym had planned his own escape from federal court, and forced to work for Egghead.
Pym tricks Egghead (admittedly not hard to do), defeats the Masters of Evil, and is exonerated by the Avengers. They forgive him, and even offer him bank hid Yellowjacket identity.
He declines, and leaves them on relatively good terms, in order to find his destiny.
It's a Roger Stern story, so you know it's a good read!
Literally watched a video about Quest for Glory II and myself screamed bellows at the screen when the air elemental came on just today. What a cowinkiedink.
The Mario Sunshine music at 8:11 was a nice touch. The editing on this is top notch!
Talking to ants would be like trying to talk to a person by 'talking' to his individual neurons ...
Missing the Caravan of Garbage logo on the icon - same with the Hulk / IronMan one from the previous week. I almost missed out on these two.
Egghead looked like bald Peter Griffin in the end panels.
Love this series, deserves so many more views
5:48 it's the Eric Andre show!!!!
Egghead is the greatest villain of all time
Dope ass thumbnail, shoutout Super Hero Squad. (Hero Up!)
i always confuse this guy with that other guy who fought the Defenders, who used Pym Particles to shrink his skull but leave everything else the same size.
i always forget his name. all i remember is that he was teamed up with a dude who had a human head on a gorilla body, another dude who was a head with metallic spider legs, and a woman who had this psychadelic techno-disco-ball for a head.
stupid AF villains, but those comics were funny as hell, and i loved them.
I remember watching egg head in super hero squad
This series is freaking awesome! So funny!!!!
Once again beautifully edited, didn't realise Vin Diesel was an Ant-Man villain though, perhaps a cameo in Ant-Man and the Wasp in preparation for his full villain role in Ant-Man and the Wasp 2: Egghead, He's an Egg with the Powers of a Normal Man
5:31 someone hasn’t played Skyward Sword
Watching this two years later cause I can't get enough of you guys lol
3:10 - James: "SONG"
Do that time the Punisher was black.
Who does the animations where the comics move? Sooo good
Ants aren't actually dumb. In fact they're some of the smartest insects of all time.
I just looked it up and Egghead, and it says that his alter ego Elihas Starr is in Ant-Man and the Wasp! 😱
They’re setting him up for the next movie!!
rpandya97 He might come back. He’s done it several times in the comics
We watch a thing that's bad or read a thing that's bad... Love you guys
You've destroyed my enjoyment of the mindless joy one can get from reading a comic book. Now I can only enjoy the art!
Egghead reminds me of the Coneheads and all I can picture now is Dan Akroyd
also something the comic off-screened; the amount of force of antman twirling around that fat guys weight via a nylon thread wrapped around the wrist would easily slice it right off :P
I'm surprised they never made Swarm an Ant-Man villain, considering both characters control insects.
i love this new format!! props to the video editor!
Antman 3. Get Vin Deasle to play Egg Head. His eggish ness I world renowned, being an egg in a best of course
mehan That's just his voice tho and even then it's bearly recognisable. I don't think it matters
Weird how Marvel and DC both have a bad guy called Egghead who are both basically just smart normal guys. Like at least the DC one uses egg themed gadgets and egg puns.
Egghead was a common nickname for scientists and other intelligent thinkers back when the characters were created, before the word Nerd took on its current meaning.
9:38 Special trick sound effect from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Really brings back memories.
Oh, and the video was fine too, I guess.
Ant-mans greatest enemy is a preschooler with a magnifying glass
I like Egghead's giant golf tee that he sits on when he's conducting field work.
Of course Ants knows about that concept of theft. Why else would they be so pissed when something invades their nest to take there food and eggs?
6:13 s P o I n G!!!1!
There is a Super Hero Squad episode with Egghead that you may want to look into. I forgot what it was called, sadly.
Ant-Man was my favorite hero when I was a little egg because he was so much more believable than all those other sillier and bigger heroes. Then he became Giant-Man (get it? Gi-Ant-Man?) which was even cooler and I freaking loved it but then they canceled his series in Tales to Astonish and replaced him with Fish-Man Prince Namor. Later they brought Gi(Ant-Man) back as Goliath in the Avengers but he couldn't shrink anymore and was stuck at one size of about 10-12' tall which sucked and blew all his potential and the Atom even had his own comic so what the heck. Roy Thomas and Jim Shooter changed everything and now we have shit all too bad.
5:48 love the Eric Andre clip
I remember Egg Head from the one marvel cartoon where everyone was tiny
Jason Abraham marvel superhero squad
Still better than daredevil’s dumbest enemy Stilt man
This videos is so well made. Incredible job by Ben!
Ant Loyalty Pyramid Scheme, Brilliant Egg Head
The SXF at 6:16 is from Smash Bros, when you pick up the bunny ears then jump.
Jesis christ that tony hawk's special trick sound effect came out of nowhere
The guy in the bear suit (the grizzly) is actually a Spiderman villain bro
It's crazy how all these episodes line up about the time they have similar movies coming out.
For Caravan of Garbage, you should do an episode from that live action Hulk TV show from the 70’s. Preferably one that stands out as one of the stupidest ones.
I can't wait for antman 3 with vin diesel as the eggman!
Actually Darren Cross being bald is a reference to Egghead
Ant-Man's Egghead: Some guy with an egg shaped head and can't capture Ant-Man because he's dumb and thinks ants are dumb, too. Never been in a movie or show, and he's probably never going to be.
Batman's Egghead: Some guy with an egg-shaped head who can terrify the citizens of Gotham into paying an egg tax and capture Batman despite the odds, but still an idiot who lets his overconfidence allow Batman a chance to escape. He also really leans into the Egg motif, so he's got that going for him, too. And he's portrayed by Vincent Price and even has a LEGO minifigure.
I think we know who's the better Egghead.
Drink every time Mason says "ants"
Gotta love Egghead turning into Peter Griffin in the end.
Philip Seymour Hoffman would have made an amazing Egghead
Vin Deisel for Egghead, Ant-Man 3?
Batman has a villain called egghead too ...🤔
Coincidence... I think not
But that’s just a theory, a comic theory
Egghead was in Ant-Man and the Wasp. He’ll probably come back to life or show up again because, he does it so much in the comics.
Eggheads name was already taken by the egghead from the 1960’s Batman tv show
Egghead looks like Toby jones just taller and with a big head
9:15 Fun Fact : egghead went on to be Peter Griffin
it's basic stuff, Egg Head!
All of the 68 dislikes: “NOOO BUT THAT IS MY FAVOURITE VILLAIN!”
Randomly listening to this in 2024 and realizing they missed an opportunity to talk about Ant Man and his bear dressed villain around the time Quantumania and Cocaine Bear were both in theaters
The guy who played Arnim Zola in the Captain America movies, Toby Jones, should’ve played a live action egg head instead.
Egghead should've just watched the Raid ad I got before this video
