I’ve seen AC-DC several times here in Toledo Ohio. The sports arena was the best place to see a Rock Concert. Some of the things you can’t get from the videos are. They music is tremendously loud . My ears rang for a week after the concert. The compressions you feel on your body when the canons go off. The pure energy that’s whips the crowd into a frenzy. If you have ever been to an AC-DC concert you know what I’m saying .
My first concert in the late 80s was AC/DC. I went with my boyfriend at the time. We had a friend who worked at ticket master, he got us front row center tickets at the Tacoma Dome in Seattle. The dome was rocking! When those cannons go off it was unreal! After that I was hooked on rock concerts, you just can’t beat them. Looking back I feel REALLY lucky to have heard all this music live as it was coming out on the airwaves. I feel lucky I had that friend at ticket master who hooked us up with incredible tickets to incredible musicians. If only I had realized at that time how iconic this music was to become I would have taken a bit more pause to really let it all soak in I’m so glad people still enjoy that same feeling we felt as teens. The hot summer nights, windows rolled down, music turned up. Singing at the top of our lungs.
