Hi, i had been using the Airtel Xstream box. But i switched to MI box 4k, due to the monthly airtel fee. I one difference i noticed is the sound, Xstream box did have a great Dolby digital sound which i miss here. Can you please share your sound settings here. Its bit difficult to understand. TIA

@@Digit yes its tcl 4k tv supports hdmi 2.0 and 1.4 both its have hdmi arc and hdmi mhl too...but netflix support team says mi box is not supported uhd streaming yet. So what settings you preffered to achive uhd streaming.

This was a really bad voice-over IMO. Probably you know that as well. However i got what i was looking for the HDR on netflix. Thanks anyway. Generally your channel does cover the in depth tech stuff that other channel does not. however you didn't mention the hdmi port's version ETC.
its a 4k box yes , but at 4k resolution it lags a bit , so if you put at 1080p it will give a great performance lag free thats sucks that its not so smooth at 4k but its worth this box
How is the WiFi reception at 5Ghz & 2.4Ghz bandwidth.. Device seems to have problem getting 5Ghz (200mbps) even the router is near it.. downscaling the video content and delay loading apps. It is better in 2.4Ghz (40mbps) but 4k contents have some stutters... I don't think it is not playing 4k contents in Netflix and Amazon.. its just 1080p HD, but playing 4k contents from RUclips with stutters as I told.. device is heating like anything. Did u or anyone notice ??.. my firestick HD is way better.. I could have gone for with Firestick 4k version Thank this.. disappointed. !!!!

What TV are you using? Does it have the ability to switch between HDMI 1.4 and 2.0? Maybe you can check these settings.

We faced issues with 5GHz performance. The mi box has known issues with 5GHz bandhwidth performance.
