I haven’t really been a fan of where the series has gone but the show nails the look of the game. They’re going for that Fallout 4 aesthetic which I don’t love but it’s fine. They portray it very well. I really respect everything happening in the show. I’m just not crazy about the writing.
i am sooo pumped for the tv show and whats to come, someday id love to see a fallout movie, honestly IMO each episode of the fallout tv show feel like a mini movie
I ended up buying Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4 since they were on sale on Steam because of the show. Both games crashed and froze my PC immediately after hitting play. Would love to actually enjoy the games however I dont think that will be possible...
cant wait for next gen update. It will be my 5th play through of 4 (including the vr version)
Fantastic show still watching and im so happy all the games are on sale on steam picked up Fallout 4 goty edition and got Fallout 76 free with prime on the Microsoft Store :)
Why did they make credit scenes in game engine tho?
Life long Fallout fan here, played 1,2, and 3 when I was a kid. New vegas released when I was in college, spent hundreds of hours in fallout 4, and currently have over 3k hours in 76. I've enjoyed ALL of them, no matter their flaws, be it poor writing or a buggy mess. I focus on the good qualities.
I will never understand the obsession some fallout fans have with needing to put New Vegas on such a high pedestal, claiming Obsidian is the better developer than Bethesda, even though objectively they're no better or worse, they're both fairly surface level cliche writing styles. These new vegas fanatics will regurgitate the same lines to anyone with an ear, and refuse to listen to any other opinion.
But, with this tv show, I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews. people claiming it's retconning lore from some of the games. These are most likely the same people who have a hard on for Obsidian and love to hate BGS, even though they've never played any fallout game other than NV, so they don't have a clue about Fallouts lore other than what they've been told by other NV fanatics regurgitating the same nonsense.
Yeah seen that, a lot of it from people clearly just bangwagoning on the hate train for whatever agenda they have, because they also say stuff that OBVIOUSLY gives away they've not played the games. So sad.

As I said in the video, not even the games themselves are consistent with themselves. There are whole wiki-pages dedicated to nothing BUT detailing all the MANY discrepancies and retcons. Unclench your ass and enjoy a fun tv show.
