Michelle Stewart never ceases to amaze me .... Not only does she have a husband and a young son ( which in my opinion is a full time job) ... Teaches snare drumming .... Has an amazing online bodhran course .... Still finds time to post FREE RUclips tutorials ... She is truly an example of God's gift to this world who freely shares what loves .... And I might add is a great inspiration yo me!!!!

I am so happy I found your vids. I've been playing cajon and djembe for a number of years ( mostly cajon). I started to play some jams at a local club and most, if not all, of their music is traditional guitar, fiddle, flute and mandolin. It took me a couple of weeks to get into the rhythms of this style of music until someone told me I played the cajon like a bodhran. And they kept inviting me back ( so i guess i'm doing pretty good ). I bought a bodhran two days ago. I plan to stick to it and practice, practice, practice till I have it nailed down to the point I can bring it to the jam sessions ( I think it helps me play better when playing with really talented musicians).
    Again thank you so much.

This is really amazing stuff to have this kind of detailed lesson online. Bless you for your willingness to give of yourself! I bought a cheap bodhran drum off of amazon.com and while it may not be fancy, i thought it would give me a good start to begin learning from your videos with and after spending a little time working along with you, i am so glad i bought it now :) I appreciate so much your attention to detail in your explanations of hand positions and where to hit the drum.
