mysticangells They enjoyed the homemade marshmallows..They claimed they were much better than store bought, I don't like marshmallows so I wouldn't know! lol
If you have a circular saw you can get abrasive cuttoff disks for $3 at home depot that are 7 1/4.. Way better than a chisel and potential cracking. I made a diff setup using 8x8x8 blocks and found a masonary blade in the garage.. Cut like butter and no cracks.. Definately worth having.
The Off Grid Homestead At St. Bernard Acres Thanks..It works pretty darn good once you figure out where to keep the fire and coals and everything. You want to keep the fire all the way back in the chimney part, but let it burn up to halfway out into the block where you load wood...So like about 12 inch pieces are best.
That's a cool cheap way too cook outside even for me at home I'm making one of those thanks for the idea I'm still going to try and come out this summer and meet you and your family plus give you a hand
William J. Barnhart Jr. Come on out! lol If it would go more than 72 hours without raining I would start laying some blocks...I guess the garden will have to be the main focus for now.
Just watched another something like this it worked great used six blocks and was two burners but on the move camping yours only required 4 blocks (great)
This blocks WILL CRACK !!!. I have played many times and they all cracked at one point. Fun for one time OK, but not long emergency need. Surviving (short term) maybe
+Marius Neumayer I actually addressed that very thing in another video. They do get brittle and crack to pieces after the second time using it...But it is still technically together and could be used to this day, just not very stable. In a survival situation who would waste the energy on this type of crap anyway? Just cook on an open fire in that situation.
Nothing like cooking burgers out doors .. yummm Toasted marshmallow's taste so good ...
Simple is good ..
Thanks for sharing

SSArt98 I didn't come up with it, just thought I would try it, but thanks! It worked very well.
