The Zen Buddhist Path to Nirvana

The ancient form of Zen Buddhism was different than what is taught today ...different than what is believed by most Buddhists today. In its original version, about 1300 years after the 1st Buddha "Siddartha" (Translated in Japanese to "Shakyamuni"), the first Zen Monks followed the Millenium old teachings laid out by the original Buddha born in Nepal.
Those teachings included a detachment from life's constant goal setting, wanting/wishing, thirsting, yearning for, or desiring anything. Ancient Zen Students eventually perfected the emptying of the mind and the deletion of want, concern, and hyper-analysis (or opinions). Eventually creating a path to Enlightenment. They neither worshipped, prayed to, nor bowed to any statue of The Buddha.
The 1st Buddha taught the 4-Noble Truths & the 8-Fold Path to Enlightenment...to original disciples in Nepal, India. This video is an intriguing - mystical, and animated work that clearly describes the Noble Truths & 8-Pathways that are the foundation of an actual Nirvana experience. The Buddha was the first great Master of the 8-Fold Realities to Enlightenment, but you too can find a path to Nirvana.
The Buddha eventually reached Nirvana, then began teaching friends and followers how to reach that same awakened state.
Soon after was a phenomenon of followers that began realizing contentment, happiness and an authentic 'Spiritual Awakening' (translated to Japanese as "Satori"), or a realization of Nirvana on Earth.
