I had my awakening earlier this year (February) and since then I’ve been searching for all knowledge possible to help me along my journey. A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: 'I don't believe that God exists.'
'Why do you say that?' asked the customer. 'Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.'

When I was younger after meditating for a while I was able to completely quiet the mind by simply saying "I know" whenever I caught myself in the middle of a thought. Your eternal self who listens and experiences has a connection to all wisdom and knowledge, you mind is just saying something that you already know, in that instant you will know, eventually your mind will become a tool like a calculator there when you need it quiet when you don't. When my mind was quiet the world was new and I was truly alive.

, iam suffering from severe depression And physical bodily pain symptoms for last 3 months, iam taking two psych meds present.. can i tapper of both clonazepam (0.5 mg) & vortioxetin (10mg) have been using for 3 weeks only.. I don't want to stay on these pills which cannot give me relef rather more I'll feeling.. Please advice me n ur support needed 🙏 iam eagerly waiting for ur reply, I don't want to regret in future help me.. Does his idea helps me to overcome depression and physical pain also.. Please help me out

I have been addicted to that toxic and it's the worst withdrawal you could ever imagine. you should taper off that toxic in a safe good way by supervision from a doctor. It will take away years from your life if you continue taking it. And yes, meditation, practicing self love and healing yourself through that will make depression, anxiety etc good. Good luck

Put a invisible gap between the conditioned mind & yr conscious mind (the true 'self') and silently rest in that gap. Most of the time, without man made medicine, the suffering ease. Hope ti's help 🙏

I was suffering and suicidal today, and i realized what i was. Im alone in the universe and everything around me IS ME. its a scary feeling and i forced myself to snap back into my normal self. But i saw the truth today. I know what enlightenment actually is now, and people that have experienced it and purposefully pursue it are warriors

@@timbevans1893 Once we label anything with a name, we can only see our thoughts inside our mind associated with that name, not the actual 'thing'.The infinite possibility of the 'bird' is lost what remains is a narrow mind made identity about it. Language is a barrier.
Hearing this made me feel bad as it made me think for over explaining things to my young daughters, I feel in my heart that labeling things may have actually interfered with their true understanding of the way they perceive things for themselves.

Could someone explain this quote to me? For me, it means that it is no measure of health to judge those that are well conformed to society. So basically there is no point in judging the conformists, because they aren't being true to self.
This makes me feel good about being currently "lost". Thank you.

I thought the philosophical basis of capitalism was one of choice. You can chose to exercise your right to consume as much or as little as you desire or can afford; just as one can exercise control of the ego. Ego is reinforced by ego not by private property.

It's been a couple of years since I first saw this film.
It opened a door to possibilities I would never accept to even consider.
Now, I thank you for this. It truly did inspire me (a hard atheist at the time) to begin a spiritual journey.
Through that journey, I at some point got to experience Samadhi.
In no way have I finished the journey, as it is not the point.
But I do know I now live a better life, not in spite of suffering, but because I accept and welcome it.
Not only that. But it has helped me helped others around me, and to be more loving.
I see it as my purpose now, to inspire as many as possible to do their own journey as well. Like you have done.
The world isn't as grim as I thought it was.

suffering is good for you...it wakes you up!...it burns out your impurities... you start wondering is their a cause + effect process going on here? WHY am I suffering..? Suffering is necessary until you finally realize it isn't really necessary at all...Become a "witness" to life...don't get too wraped up+ emeshed in its many dramas / Be below the surface of the ocean where it is calm+peaceful...get out the violence of the waves that are tossing you around + breaking your head against the sand
I don't want to come off rude but you did not experience samadhi brother as your physical body is still with us. Samadhi is when you pass over the rainbow veil and your physical body deteriorates from the light. It's the end result of attaining Nirvana. What you're referring to is an enlightened awakening. The beginning of every spiritual path, which simply doesn't end if you're honestly spiritual as you have many lifetimes of karma to work with. Stay blessed, brotherman.

The word demon is an ancient Greek word ( daimon) which means profound and devine wisdom and knowledge. Socrates used it in his trial to describe the source of his inspiration , his divine mentor that showed him which direction to go. There is a wonderful Greek word efdaiimonia that means that the soul has reached inner peace. .So pitty that knowadays this word has a satanic and evil meaning.It is totally irrelevant with the word 's etymology and the meaning which Plato and Socrates have used it

Samadhi is an ancient Sanskrit word that points to something beyond the mind.
The film is an outer manifestation of the filmmaker's inner journey and aims to inspire viewers to discover their true nature.
Samadhi is relevant in today's time, where people have forgotten its existence and their true selves.
The illusion of the self, known as Maya, is what prevents us from realizing our true nature.
Identification with the egoic mind is the sickness, and Samadhi is the cure.
Realizing the true self involves letting go of the illusory self and integrating Samadhi into every facet of life.
Stillness and movement, as well as form and emptiness, are recognized as identical in Samadhi.

Eye opening☺ I hope some people don't missinterpret what he s saying. You can still pursue worldly things, one can still want to be fit or look our best but without loosing the soul's purpose. It's utterly important to remember that we are in this world but not of this world.

@@Gordesm Yes, as scientists Tom Campbell and Jim Elvidge have said, you can call The Larger Consciousness System (LCS) by any other name you like ("God" for example), it is still the main "unit" so to speak that exists OUTSIDE of our "physical" Virtual Reality, and we are its avatars living out our experiences in here so that IT may experience how to lower entropy within the system that it created. I would suggest YouTubing "Tom Campbell" and then "Jim Elvidge" and hear ALL the interesting things they have learned about consciousness as the REAL fundamental force in this reality/universe/VR/Sim/etc, not materialism.

I'm not really able to fully comprehend this. I'm confused by a lot of it.
You are only in a prison of layer's of belief systems, you cannot leave until you allow yourself to leave, until you create your escape.
Allow your tests to come and allow yourself to pass them, one at a time, when your ready. No matter what the answer is it comes from your heart, but your mind must choose it. Your heart is the limitless energy source that powers your life, your subconscious is the filter that brings it into being, and your conscious (egoic) mind lives it. (your subconscious is egoic aswell but is controlled indirectly by your average of thoughts, think about love and it will love you)
Love yourself and everyone and everything else because it is all you, even that which you do not believe can be loved. If you don't you are only hurting yourself and sending it to yourself directly or indirectly. Remember it is important to love things we don't like from afar, so that we might fight them when they are close. This is loving resistance.
The mind is the tool and creation of the heart but it must choose to let the heart be it's guide, even if it doesn't mean immediate joy.
