- This video will teach you four unique abilities that can be added to your world with only command blocks, no mods! This video teaches how to make a stone shield, boulder toss, spike attack and gravel pillar all based on earth benders from the show Avatar the Last Airbender!

I’ve been working in this for months and if you’re gonna do that, best tip I can give is: Dont Sleep On Structure Void Blocks
For a lava bending effect you could do something similar to the deep slate one but using a magma slime spawner to trigger the effect and setting the command to put lava instead and then replacing it with magma blocks (after 1 - 2 seconds) to make it looks as if the lava is solidifying.
Hope you could understand my idea...

This is awesome my favourite thing to code is avatar abilities and earth bending is hardest followed by water, I am 1000% doing an avatar survival with my sister now and I’m earth 😂
I'm pretty experienced with commands. Came to this video to learn how he did the boulder thingy, the whole artificial gravity thing is the coolest thing I've ever seen anyone do with commands! And I thought I was good, this makes me feel like a noob!

I would say during the throwing you could just do a scoreboard CD because tags aren’t always the greatest..
I do that with my creations but combined with tags
@@user-ep2yd4mb6g I never use tags for abilities, the only time I use tags is for teams. An example is my Flee the facility world has a survivor side & a beast side. I use tags for them.
Does anyone know how to make cool downs for the throwing stone
Put command in exactly as it is in the video but the dripstone attack isn't working, could I get help on that? Here's what I typed in: execute as @e[tag=earthB,hasitem={item=dripstone_block,location=slot.weapon.mainhand}] at @s positioned ~~1.6~ unless entity @s[dx=0] as @e[r=7,tag=!earthB,type=!item,type=!xp_orb] at @s unless block ~~-1~ air unless block ~~~ air run damage @s 10 entity_attack entity @p[tag=earthB]
nvm figured it out, the part "unless block ~~~ air" stops it from working as the mobs are always in an air block
hi,i have some problems with the last one the problem is my dripstone isnt dissapearing can someone help me with that?

About the rock shield, the deepslate don't disappears after I'm moving my camera.

For me if says "failed to execute "fill" for [player name]"😢

I need help with some troubleshooting.
For the first move the first command block says “Failed to execute “fill” as JDP900”. I’ve tried to find a few tutorials but they are all outdated, and I am confused because I did everything you did (I’ve checked quite a few times).
I also have the same problem with the third move, second repeating command block (the clean up one).
Please help.
Just try re building the same thing I don't know why but it doesn't happen sometimes and also see if you put the same command
Happened to me a lot it just don't work sometimes just break and re-place the command blocks or just build it somewhere else and it works all of a sudden
I just figured this out myself, I was standing in a super flat world and the command was trying to fill blocks outside of the world with the second ~-10, I just changed that to a ~-5 and it will work

why are u using [dx=0] for the deepslate shield? What does this do?

Just as a question for general use..how can i put it so the boulder abilitiy cant be spammed?
I would use a tag and anybody with that tag would get +1 score to the cooldown score
And when it hits a certain point it would remove that tag and reset the score

Are you sure the armor stand is holding cobble? If not then you may wana recheck that command block?
