oh i have so many thoughts abt the venus thing!! 1. i dont think ppl who hate her are anti woman or whatever i just think her motives aren’t being shown well in the edit. she did start playing hard from day one but like wasn’t blunt/mean until her tribe (tevin) decided to hate her for no reason? one person compared her to parvati (PAR-va-tee) somebody who hasn’t won in over a decade and that was enough for them to write her off. then her game escalated out of desperation bc they weren’t willing to even listen to her which is such bad gameplay! if she’s gonna make the jury, which now she has, you kinda have to be nice enough if you want her vote at the end! there have been so many seasons where the person on the outs gets shut down so many times it makes them seem like the bad person/player but honestly what else should they do? it’s either play even harder or give up at that point 2. re the soda vote specifically. yes it was tevin’s idea and he made it happen but it’s not like venus didn’t have the thought too and tried what she could to get the votes (without people listening, like always). and tevin shouldn’t WANT them to know it was him because that puts a target on him! it was way too early to vote out his alleged closest ally and wasn’t good strategy on his end. the “big move” for him would have been to subvert expectations and work with venus on that move even just for that one vote.
Week #2 request (if it gets a second season) for “Siren: Survive the Island”, please! Climbing trees PLUS breaking into competitors’ housing compounds with axes! Won’t do it every week, just excited :).

you girls are so funny for thinking Survivor has motion activated cameras. Occam's razor and the truth is that they just have a skeleton night camera crew.
the Venus thing is so interesting because if your only information is what you're seeing on screen it is easy to feel that way towards her like Mamrie does. but if you see any of the other information from online like twitter and the eliminated contestants exit interviews with EW, for example, it gives off that Venus is being given a very interesting edit. Soda said in her exit interview with EW that her and Venus were each other's number one's since day one!! and that Randen was the one that compared Venus to Parvati and they took that comparison and ran with it. so we see on the show Tevin say the same thing- that he just instantly doesn't want to work with Venus because she's going to pull a Parvati. And because Tevin said he didn't trust her then Hunter automatically didn't trust her (per Soda's words) and that Soda was actually trying to get Tevin and Hunter to work with her and Venus because, keep in mind, at that point her and Venus were number ones. But Soda had to stop being associated with Venus because the other players decided from day one that they "couldn't trust her." so although venus can come off immature or like, aggressive, in her game play i feel like it might be coming off that way because of frustration. She's trying so hard to play and no one is giving her the slightest chance. no one has been willing to talk with her or play with her because she's a "wildcard" but how much of that is because she was not given a chance since the beginning to do anything related to gameplay? the Parvati comparison was made by one dude on day one and because of that people have been outsing her- even her number one, Soda, had to ditch her because Tevin and Hunter heard about the Parvati comparison. I think this comes into play too at Tribal and why she told Soda that it was her move. Venus does think it's her move because, again, no one talks to her so she didn't know that Tevin threw out this plan to vote out Soda. But Venus had that idea too- independent of Tevin, but because Tevin, or anyone working with Tevin, won't discuss gameplay with her, of course she thinks it's her plan- she has no reason to think otherwise! Again- this is all a game but very interesting nonetheless!

I think he set up the Soda vote and trusted the rest to do the dirty work basically but just in case Soda pull anything out like her SITD, then Venus would end going home- a win win for Tevin either way.
