I have a bit of experience here. I finished university in 2020 month before the pandemic and I previously knew that that will be the point where I have to begin long term job. Unfortunately it cost's me up to April 2021 to my first aprovel in a second hand store. I have always thought myself as being a book saler, but after month's of waiting and waiting, everything suted me just for make experience. The store was in a districted neighborhood so we know all our client's, which was the perfect envirement for me to grow, but the idea that this was a temporary place for me bothered me and there was too much heavy lifting procces so after six month's I said no. Fortunately I was found by a large book store chain for one of their book store's in the centre. In October 2020 I was invited to an interview from other book store chain that have large publishing house and I remember they wanted me to take the place of a man who have been elevated so I thought that this will be the perfect strategy for me. Unfourtunately again the situation in the centre in the end of 2021 wasn't as good as I first thought. The client's there are more formal, not as emotionally open as I wanted to and that began to make me doubt my performance. In the end all came to my proffesional skills. My boss gave me the task to recite key information about the entire section of international prose and told me that the thriller section will be next. Well it's not like I first understood that thise are the key section's, but I absuletely hate to be rushed for something and I have a hobby which take's me a lot of time, so the idea of taking books home to learn some information about them wasn't a solution. As an autcome of this and my dissatisfaction at all I said no, for a second time in less that a year. So yes, formalism and high formal skills, totaly not my thing. The thing that make's me still think about is did I have other choice, was I able to do thing's a little bit different in order to stay or my decision was absolutely right. We INFJs are born to rebuild the old system's and the job in the book store would have been perfect for me only if it gave me more autonomy and spase to create. It's not like trading can't be creative, no, it just need's the right people to make it creative and the right people to accept it that way or at least this is tha way I think of it. I can learn all the information I need to, but it will take me more time to do it, time and experience most of all. The question that I still asking myself is was I able to stand for my place more then simply said no.

Though I agree with you our strengths of creativity and doing things better, faster in new ways, doubling ROI is our strength. The pushback I receive is insane and the better I do, the more amazing my ideas, the greater the offense from those who hate change or feel like your steeling their thunder. The trick is go into business for yourself and reep the rewards or try and find a place that can accommodate us which I have not been able to do.

I tried to fit in for years into the corporate world. The childhood traumas and $hitty programming wasn’t working. Got canned or quit most of the jobs I was in. Never really felt appreciated or understood. The most fun I ever had was when I was in college, learning from different teachers on different subjects.
I often paid attention to all of their teaching styles and calculated the best ways to do things. My favorite was marketing. Finding different ways to create something, like a new company.
Ironically, nearly 20 years later, a failed marriage with a narcissist (barely made it out alive), 2 breaks from reality. And getting hit head on by a drunk driver. I finally realized I needed to start over.
I’ve endured what most others would never fathom. I am the most resilient human being mentally, that I know. But I’ve struggle to sustain the energy to take care of my needs and set boundaries for myself and others. It’s easier to help others and preach a message I struggle to apply to myself.
I miss my 5 kids I lost to a narcissist who I allowed to steal everything from me due to my ignorance and being love bombed at the end when she said she was going to cancel all the supports/hearings etc. Now I realize I won’t get them back in a loving state.
They have been turned into flying monkeys which I’ve also had to block for now. She took the kids, my money, and most of the stuff in my prior home. At least Job (in the Bible) got a clean slate.
It’s what I get for being groomed as a young child to be my mothers comfort toy. Love bombing extraordinaire. An abusive alcohol and flaming covert narcissist. Yippy tippy. Oh and an escape artist of a salesman father who avoided more conflict then Switzerland to maintain status quo.
I am learning to change my filters for people, which in the past, led me to being a people pleaser. That being said, I have a chance to go to an ibogaine/DMT retreat in Mexico for disabled veterans such as myself. Suicidal depression, military combat trauma, CPTSD to go along with traumatic grief. Yeah I’ve had my share.
I’ve gone back and forth over the cost (nearly $4,500). But I am worth it. I know my ideas, my value, and my personhood can not be replaced. I do believe I’ve been put here for a reason. I also believe that I will be a millionaire some day, a philanthropist, and a sought after mentor. But the journey has been arduous.
And it all starts with Wenzes 5 pillars to an epic INFJ life. Just click on the link in her description, enter your name and email, get the free poster. And sign up on the boot camp waitlist. And you’ll see me grow along side you my fellow INFJ. 🙏🙌
    Sincerely,

Even if a job doesn't suit one, there would always be a takeway lesson to learn. Just need to know when is enough, before completely burning out yourself. Served in the military before, pushing myself to be the best of self there as a goal. Not the most enjoyable, but the takeaway was what made it enjoyable when finishing the term. It was my first true contact of a highly systematic society, and learned that not many were actually commited truthfully or passionately.
It also taught me the importance of rules, and why uniform organisations were so rigid. Was more interested in the safety and ethics culture. Found out why the safety rules were so rigid, was because they were "written in blood". This made me understand why some rules could look so intimidating. Everything has a reason.

There were so many super insights in this video that I almost didn't know where to start. But I finally zeroed in on the following points. The numbering was put there by me to keep track of it, but it worked into a super unity:
    1. You encouraged us to stop relying on others to see our worth.
    2. You showed us that we're not there to make an existing environment better ...
    3. ... but rather, to create a new enviornmemt which includes US and others, and then make that better.
    4. You emphasized that we need to add ourselves to the mix - this is where our uniqueness can truly show.
As a teacher (retired but now working as a substitute) I try to reach out to the students in a way they'll understand, but that I can handle. I think you gave a great description of how to go about doing exactly that.

INFJ's usually work best when working alone. We need to excel at whatever we do and the best way is not to merge into the pack and plug away at what everybody else is doing. It is not that we can't do well in this role but we don't get personal satisfaction doing this kind of work. We can give the most to an organization when we take on tasks that nobody else is performing and then perfect it beyond what the rest will ever do.

I am a custodian of a school district, I personally know that the people who run this school district prefer not listing to anyone about anything that would benefit everyone, only what benefits the school board and nothing else. I see in his eyes that my boss, even though he is a nice guy, is nothing but a puppet and even the Superintendent is only a puppet. Plus we custodians get paid shit and even I can't change them, or at least I don't think I could. I am in a dead end and trying to figure out where else to go while at the same time trying to figure out what I am best at so I can go somewhere I can shine even brighter then Star R136A1, the brightest known star in the universe so far. Now off subject, I know depth attracts us, and whenever I see deep eyes I have to talk to that person. When I see shallow eyes I avoid them completely. So far, I have never seen anyone else have as deep of eyes as us INFJs, but I have seen an INFP have deeper eyes than most other people and yet not as deep as ours. But the depths I see in her eyes intrigue me none the less. Also, I am curious about an INTJs eyes since I have never knowingly seen them.

I ran two of my own businesses for 12 years, fixed hours, stuck in one place, rinse, wash and repeat. It killed me after 2years on both of them. The other 4 years were just me sticking it out because I thought I had no other options. I wasn't able to play on the same level as most others but I did have different approaches, concepts and ideas that stood out but it wasn't enough to keep me motivated. I started a new project and well just sort of rolled with it and so far it's been great as an experience but I've reached the max growth level in this field but I can apply all the concepts I've learned into a few other fields.
Right now, I have just found a conservation project that might be worth looking into but there are a few challenges. The original team who took on the project seemed to have some limiting factors that I hope I can solve through just a bit of creativity and a slightly different approach, Only problem is everything is theory until put into action.

The way I get around the thing about treating everyone differently is I treat everyone exactly the same. (At the beginning and then I treat people EXACTLY the way they treat me.) People don't really like that either, though. If I do that then that means that they are not special. Which brings me to That last part! I don't know how many times I've had a new boss who just loves me, thinks I can do no wrong. THEN They see me treating the Janitor, or someone low on the totem pole, EXACTLY the same way I was treating them. 😒 I am IMMEDIATELY Their worst employee. Everytime!

Thank you so much for this video Miss Wenzes 💗 It is very timely topic to be discussed. As you said, INFJ is a minority and when it comes to career choices/path it is sometimes easy to fall to what society dictates. What I mean is that, sometimes without realising it we are making career choices just to fit in and not to feel being left out. This video is a great reminder that INFJ's have lot to offer and instead of just go with the flow, we must acknowledge that creating new environment where we can flourish and better use our gifts and strenghts is the best thing we could do to the world at large.
I've been having difficulty about my career choices these past weeks and this video really helps me. Thank you again ❤️ Lovelots from Philippines 💙

My biggest passion is to be able to influence culture in everything I do but I could never do that by playing within the culture that’s already established.

What are some of my best lessons learned when it comes to my career? One, is not to wait on any training on automotive technology updates to be brought to me by my employer. If I want it, I go out and get it on my own to make myself more marketable. Another is not accept old paradigms that are obstacles to progress. Think of new or better ideas and voice them in a proper format to the people that can help make it happen. Being fiercely independent makes a lot of folks uncomfortable.

So, this has nothing to do with this video, but I thought that it might fit this community, maybe someone else could relate?
I tend to have difficulty deciding between simple things with a little detail, e.g.: right now I am currently trying to launch a website and debating whether I should add " - " (dashes) or add a number. (since the domain I wanted, is already taken).
Is this an INFJ thing? This always happened to me in many circumstances, and I can't move past this thing...like literally this is the only thing that is preventing me to buy the domain and starting. And is so hard to FEEL which one I want best since I am trying to conclude the best option looking it from a future perspective, like WTF 🤨 I really annoy my own self
Does anyone relate? would you say this has something to do with an INFJ thing?
