Dude I'm guessing you have an Ivision pro yourself. As a tech enthusiast with only the meta quest 3.. I just downloaded it AND ITS ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE 10$ HOLY CRAP!!! AM LOSING MY MIND OVER THIS THANKS ❤
It's got some bugs... AS AN OVERWHELMING ALPHA APP!! I thought Meta Quest 3 AS IT IS is worth $500. Ten more dollars just to get almost all of the vision pro feats? VISION PRO IS DONE EVEN IF IT WAS THE SAME PRICE AS META QUEST 3S 😂🤣👍😭📝 Edit: Basically Vision Pro purchased on Temu ;P
As avid Vision Pro user who also has Quest headset, this is cool for those who want to get some feel of what it’s like to operate in AVP w/o the price. It’s not the same experience as the real thing and has its limitations but for a 3rd party, this is cool; especially for the price. Props to the developers who made it.
I’m definitely up for checking the app out. My only thing is this is a third-party app so you’re having I would assume to sign in to your Apple account Google account if you choose to use Google as well and I’m concerned about sharing my login information with a third-party app!
Yeah, I had this concern as well. It seems like a collossal amount of access to give to a 3rd party. (I started wondering about this kinda stuff more recently after I visited the upload website and it asked if I was okay accepting to give my usage data and personal info to.. I think it was around 950 different companies and it actually staggered me.)
I went onto the companies discord server and under the faq section they say they do not save any of that kind of information. I did log into my gmail account on it to watch some youtube videos, I just made sure I logged out before I left, but that being said I do have 2 part authorization set up for any important accounts, so if someone does access it other than me, I get notified via phone and email etc
This looks really good, but since it's 3rd party, I'd assume it needs a lot off access permissions so that it can function correctly. Do you know anything about the privacy settings or anything that might protect customer data? Also, good video as always!
Is The Spatial App better than just using the browser in Meta Quest 3? Will I get the same results if I just bookmark all these same apps? Also, can I mirror my computer screen in meta quest 3 with multiple windows open?
So, it is like the old Desktop RIA that did boosted PIA's before PIA's were an evolved thing but in VR. Genius idea no doubt. And actually Useful and good unlike Poki which sucked given how limited the apps were back then.
I want to make a competitor to vision Pro. The idea's called naturalSet, and it would run naturalOS. As the name suggests, emulating full 3D without gestures. Think this, but gestures go bye-bye.
the only way to make a competitor to the already dead vision pro is to match the only thing that's unique and that's the 3500 usd price tag. also, what the hell is 'naturalos'??? not a 3d distro as far as im aware. just something you made up??? and wtf do you mean 'emulating full 3d without gestures'??? what does that even mean?
So all of these apps are on the Quest 3 anyway. Wny would I download this and take up more space? Just curious. I guess for those who don't haave an Apple phone but I see no point in this. Just saying.
It's because the software allows the apps to be used together in such a way as we cannot currently do with MQ3 software natively. Some people like that.
Big miss with this approch is that they don't do advance rendering (background blur, transparency, drop shadow) Plus, Visuion OS is based on gaze/pinch, no way this app gives you the proper feeling that Apple manage to achieve.

I have the app and is cool but it is only a browser trying to match the look of VisionOS. Just that. I love my Quest 3 but reading people thinking it is the same as AVP is quite funny (and sad too) This is indeed an AVP fan love letter IMHO
AVP is waaaaaayy overpriced and overhyped imo. From what I've seen, Quest 3 is a much better deal on almost all fronts - and the few things that AVP has over it are nothing deal-breaking for me. I wouldn't want Vision OS to replace my Quest 3 software even as it is, and we're supposed to be getting an entire re-factor sometime soonish.
@@Atreyuwu Well, that thing is expensive for sure but it is not too pricey since it has a full M2 computer inside. Every top spec quality product is expensive. Varjo, Xtal, Hololens are more expensive and the are just headsets depending on expensive PCs. I get a Quest user usually won’t need an AVP of course. Apple was very clear about that. AVP is more an experiment and developer kit to build the foundation of the Apple XR ecosystem. Not a consumer product. They have been building it many years using the iPhone to develop the tools and frameworks and now it is time to apply it to a real device.
laggy due to recording + having many apps open + recording through passthrough + using handtracking + prior to performance increases + many many more..
Pretty cool. I cant imagine apple not sueing them for copying their design one to one. But what I am looking forward to is that meta itself will bring more and more of the spacial features that the AVP hast to their system soon.
What did they copy...? It looks like any other operating system on a cell phone just floating together in the air. Apple Vision Pro uses eye tracking to navigate the apps this one uses a pointer from the fingers. I don't think they used anything special unless you're talking about the bar at the bottom of the screen to move around and in the corner to make screen bigger. Every thing uses that feature. So what did they copy, That no other operating system hasn't already...?
Its probably also too small for apple to go against it, but you never know. It's Apple and they are known for suing people that copy their design or other stuff they do even if they did not invent it in the first place and took ideas from somewhere else.
If I want an Apple Vision Pro, I'll buy it, but trying to pretend I have it on the Quest 3 is like sticking a Mercedes star on a Ford car and imagining you're driving an S-Class. It's just sad.
Every time I try to do work on the quest 3 I had to stop after just 15 minutes. The pass through experience is too horrible. Horrendous warping, the unreasonable high noise, low fidelity image. I rather spend 200$ more for decent cameras on board. I hope meta learned this lesson with the next quest.
I guess it's not 200e for cameras (well, to amend the noise level maybe) it's millions and time in r+d to do the magic of translating two feeds recorded not where your eyes are (physically impossible) in a perspective correct output all without a brutally potent chip like apple's
@@RaM-xy8kg you nailed the other point too. Is not just one but two chips. Although I can’t find any specifications about the R1. And and also considering that the dragon chip is a mobile one, things can’t be fix just by slapping a second one on board for the quest. Three thought, by the other hand… 🤔💭
@@RaM-xy8kg From what I've seen from a few RUclipsrs, the Vision Pro doesn't do the perspective correction correctly, or at least not as well as the Quest. It would be interesting to see what an uncorrected Quest 3 passthrough would look like.

I've heard/seen many reports of people saying many things on the AVP are subpar compared to the MQ3. If you're having passthrough issues, you should make certain your lighting is good and try a full factory reset a few times. Mine was quite grainy until I did that. Also, if you've been a user of any of the previous VR headset offerings, the Meta Quest 3 passthrough is WORLDS better. Both VR/MR can do with higher fidelity, and because it is so close to our eyes and we are trying to emulate somewhat how we see things irl, it won't be 'perfect' until it can match retinal resolution on both fronts - that being said, I absolutely have no issues with MQ3 passthrough in good light!!!
Hmmmm.... meh. Vision OS is limited. It's deliberately limited to do what Apple reckon they can get the average non-tech person to understand. The look and feel of Vision OS is absolutely not important. Copying the look and feel and then delivering it in a way that only mimicks a subset of Vision OS's features is entirely the wrong way round.
