THIS is gold! Had to explain to a guy that a strong back is key to the dragonflag, this made it much easier to explain why instead of going into the whole insertion point of muscles hard to see.
Really like your videos, could you do some more advanced calisthenics moves like front lever, human flag, one arm pullup, handstand pushup, planche, muscleup, l sit, that would all be very cool
Hey Robdahelpa , you will find more calisthenics videos in the Strength Training app, go to the exercise section and search for any exercise you want. The app available on all devices. Click here and try the free version with limited access. www.muscleandmotion.com/log-in_page_strength_training/
Thanks, just tried the dragon flag for the first time. Just did 7 reps then my neck started hurting I will try with pillow on my shoulder when it gets better. Thank you
My lawer back wasn't arching just like I saw a gumansts was doing it abiviously they have felxibel cores but I couldn't find my dragon flag correct but thanks I now know that we should keep our body in a straight position
Hey GOAL & HIGHT LIGHT , we already did:) you can login to the Strength Training app and search for the front lever exercise. The app available on all devices.
The explanation is good. But the technique is wrong. The force must come from the pectoral, and the arms must be stretched, the original dragon flag is made as a lever force. Like front lever. The hip has to be aligned and does not have to flex. Although I understand that the dragon flag that you explain in the video is for a version for beginners, which is very good so that they know what muscles involved in its execution. Thanks for the contribution of the video. Greetings
Great video! However, the external obliques should be shown as they are one of the prime movers in this exercise. (Coming from a career anatomist who can do these straight and with a twist.)
John Karavitis Not really. It can help to strenghten your core region. As far as the carryover onto other exercises, it could definitely help for the front lever.
Man these videos should get way more views, its the most clear and scientific explanation of exercises ive seen.
wesley remy Thanks for the best comment ever!! You should check our apps, you will love them!

Finally I got my first dragon flag straight line 3 reps😂

A bit hard one. How many times per day you think is OK?

target muscle : lower chest ?
Bruce Lee's stuff.
So this is what I have been doing without knowing 😂
Who came up with this method of workout?
Can this help one with chin-ups/pull-ups?
John Karavitis Not really. It can help to strenghten your core region. As far as the carryover onto other exercises, it could definitely help for the front lever.
This is a hell a lot more difficult ng pullups.
@@rayvincyful1 u guys are legit comparing the core to the lats...
Vince Yutuc these focus to different muscles but I find the dragon flag is easier than pull ups
Is that raymond?
Busy doing face pulls 😏
