Does anyone alive even possibly realize how good this is? 😭
I do!! It blows my mind the tastefulness of both the arrangement / guitar playing / harmonies... a beautiful interpretation that is truly their own.
Found them on spotify. Its the only reason im sticking to that ad spewing app.
I do
Oh …. Yes
I do! I share these videos far and wide. They are amazing.
Almost 50 years later and it's like Simon and Garfunkel started it over again, but both of them are extraordinary this time.
it is not easy to cover the unique Pink Floyd original. But this one is great. I follow Milk Karton Kids since there first album.Wonderful guitar performance with brilliant voices. Calm and serene!
This duo has enriched my life in ways they'll never know.
Genuinely beautiful... My lord, I don't think any set of words would be be hyperbole when describing these two.
+DeanCutty That one was.
You've a point there.

So True very True !
This is better than the original hands down best version ever
Reminds me of The Everly Brothers the way they sound. Beautiful!
It is BRILLIANT! Joeys' guitar sounds like an antique music box!
Unbelievable!!
So beautiful. The way he plays guitar makes me wanna cry. Just incredible. What a beautiful song.
Just discovered these two and they remind me a lot of my all time favourite band Kings of Convenience. Feel so lucky to have stumbled across them! So excited to discover more of they're music!!
... my ears will never be the same ... thankfully ...
Everything I have heard these guys play is so tasty. Pink Floyd is my favorite band of all time, but this is just lovely.
stunning - please let's know when they come back to UK
Anybody else think they look like young Lennon and McCartney here?
Haha.
Breathtaking
This is simply magestic. The way they are totally synchronized... wow
Pure class. The guitar playing reminds me partly of Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings especially between 3:00 and 3:3:25
But these guys are a million times better, and Gillian is still amazing.
They´re equal of course
One of his inspirations 😘 according to an interview he did. Makes so much sense, he plays similarly. Just amazing. ❤️
Milk Carton Kids Channeling the Mystic once more.............wow
Amazing
Perfect soundtrack for the dark days ahead. Saw these guys on Cape Cod (USA) over the summer. Best show of 2016 for sure, and one of the best ever.
Wow ... superb!!!!!!!!!!!
always makes me smile
Awesome. Added to Turn Up The AC playlist on the Independent Music Stage
Blows me away!!!!!
I love your channel
Was lucky enough to be there . Rhiannon was there too . Gid Gid Night
It’s Simon and Garfunkel meets Pink Floyd....these guys are incredible.
Great,great,really great!!!!
Just saw them do this at the Keswick with Transatlantic Sessions. Simply ethereal
If a musician is good it will sound good no matter how poor the recording. Amazing cover!
Lovely
Great video of a brilliant night. Do you have any other songs/chat from this show?
Yes, a few more songs - I'll upload at the weekend. I decided not to video the chat this time, felt as if it might be a spoiler for others seeing them live. Probably a mistake as the show was incredible! (Search my channel for 'Girls gather round' from previous visit to Glasgow though.) I briefly met them after the show and they are the nicest guys you could ever meet.
+MissOhio1000 Great! Yeah, they could easily do a stand-up turn if they wanted. Best gig I saw at Celtic Connections.
Pretty.
Eles lembram the everly brothes.
I need Tabs!!!!!
Same!
Who the hell dislikes this video?🤔
What's the chords?
But what's the purpose of the bunny ears on the neck? Dampening?
+Giovanni Bosco He says the strings buzz up near the neck, the rag stops the buzz.
In an interview once he said it had to do with his wonky guitar neck - it buzzes or acts up weird when he doesn't have the rag tied up there.
npr tiny desk concerts - the milk carton kids - will fully explain it.........
Interesting version, less edge than Waters/Gilmore
The milk carton kids have turned this into a folk song I'd prefer the Mona Lisa twins version and their passion just saying I like both but I like well let's be honest the Mona Lisa twins just being twins harmonize so much better and so much better looking than these two boys
Key is Gb? Anyone confirm?
