Yeah, I am very excited to be in a different town this summer. It’s not far from where I’ve been living most of my life but it’s more than twice the size and it’s definitely got a lot more going on. Thanks JD the encouragement is really needed, sometimes more than others!

Summer in Kelowna ROCKS. ( Or at least it used to ) lol. I lived there and in Winfield from 84 to 93. Riding over the floating bridge is really weird... it's grid and it moves. Sketchy as hell until you're used to it. hahaha !!

Don't let the Harley job get you down, It is their loss. You have shown more knowledge and talent in a hand full of videos than the folks at my local dealership have ever shown. Maybe check with some of the independent cycle shops in your area. You have knowledge, a great personality and you actually ride a motorcycle! Unlike the wantabes at most dealers.

I think you would work there just fine sometimes you have to toot your own horn and really if you can work a computer. I don't see any reason they shouldn't hire you the Harley system is not too complicated I feel it's a numerical system for parts and I think you would be a great parts counter person.
I’ve been bugging them a little! But it seems as though they are wanting to get themselves settles in before they train anyone, so I’ll have to see how it turns out.

As far as Harley goes, years ago I had a young man that applied for a job and I held his application and he was such a persistent squeaky wheel, he came in almost weekly until I finally said Your Hired! I knew he wanted the job that much! Your dad is right! keep squeaking.

Insulation, internal paneling, electricity, airconditioning and heat keeps me there almost more than in the house. My redheaded wife does not mind at all, she always knows where I am!

Congratulations Red, is housing expensive in Canada? I recently purchased a house very similar. It's not a two story, but it does have a two car garage, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms for just under 180k. Not bragging but extremely happy. Congratulations once again!
Housing is really expensive in my area of Canada, everyone wants to live in British Columbia and it’s driven a market up pretty extremely. We have new apartments going for around 1 million right now.

They redid the bridge in 2008 and I’m not sure if it still floats or not.
