Thank you for including the "historical" commercials. They seem so over-the-top and unsophisticated compared to today. Really gives a sort of sense of time-travel and memories as well as perspective in our current society. Makes me think about 50 years from now and some people wondering how oblivious we are now.

That Mike Perry is a smooth talker. Too smooth.

Mike Perry sure gets around! I heard a story a few days ago where he was trafficking in stolen diamonds!

I don't know which actor played Mike Perry but he kept reminding me of Edward G Robinson - not one of Robinson's tough-guy roles but one of the many other sorts of characters he played. I wonder if the actor was doing it consciously.

If you prefer radio shows where women are portrayed as the malevolent, wicked and unscrupulous ones, then you must tune in to sam dann’s stories and his clear message: no matter how contemptible a man’s crime is (as in this story), the evil culprit behind all misfortunes and calamities in life is no one else but a woman!

Xyz Xyz, yeah, Sam Dann's stories were definitely dated and there is a pattern of a negative attitudes toward women. You're not the first to notice it.
