I like the photos you create plus I very much like it when you keep in the original news & advertisements - really recreates the era when these great episodes were originally broadcast - I like to call the CBSRMT (as you have it here recreated) the best of latter-day OTR. Thank you, once again, MysteryTheaterRadio!
I look forward to your uploads each night. My books are now gathering a fine layer of dust, I'm on a MysteryTheaterRadio binge at the moment! Thank you so much!
I love it when you keep the original news in, and here you've had several the past few weeks. Just makes this history major really start payin' close attention. Yep. I see Gerry Ford is President now. We've made it past Watergate. Well no we haven't, have we. Still have mention of that Pardon, with ole Gerry taking complete responsibility for the decision to pardon Nixon. Cool! Like a peek into the past via a time machine. Yep. :-}
And JW. Fullbright, Senator of Arkansas, was a racist in the democrat party. A defender of segregation and voted against the civil rights bill. It also mentioned Robert Byrd the democrat from west Virginia, that was also a racist and voted against the civil rights bill. He was also a high ranking Klu Klux Klan member. Funny how the media has so much to do with whom we remember in history an ignore other reprehensible people in politics, just because they have a D next to their name!
This was a very good episode. Which is surprising twist at the end. On a scale of 1-10 this is a 9 enjoy the commercials but do not enjoy the NeverEnding commentary at the end at almost every wor broadcast
But WHY didn't the kid throw the knife away after he ALLEGEDLY stabbed the guy. And the prosecution attorney is an idiot. If Benny lied to his lawyer, then he's sinking his own ship. Mr. Wedge could have been handing the case to the prosecution if the blade had turned red. I would have let him.
The kid sounded like he was a)Dumb and ill-educated, and B) was possibly psychopathic or atleast had some kind of personality disorder, people like that often lie all the way to the noose...lies are such a part of their nature that even non criminal psychopaths (the majority) lie constantly.
The statistics for people born in that time loving those commercials is quite high. If you scroll through all over the place you'll find people loving the commercials.. It doesn't make sense why you would like the radio shows from that time😮 I love everything from that time. I had a terrible childhood and these commercials and anything from that era bring back my memory. Just like the smell of my favorite perfume loves baby soft watching The Flintstones and The Munsters and the cool jeans and fun shirts. When life was less complicated in innocent compared to now. I like remembering things my mind shut off because of all the violence and abuse. I get to see and hear all the things that passed me by and I remember. So I'm a big big fan. Even the smell of Crayola crayons bring back so many things as a result I ended up getting in the medical field and there is a strong connection❤❤❤ So I'm making you the positive. I wish you well. I googled CBS radio mystery theater with commercials you can Google without it if you like and you don't have to be bothered have a nice day. One of my favorite things is reading all the comments also. Which probably annoys you lol Life is good any day above ground is a good day❤ even if it's not.
