Just a silly little tip dude. If you just pierce a small hole in th top of the foil seal on the prime bottle you can add prime more regulated. Good video by the way. Beautiful fish and keep up the good work.
I have never ordered fish online yet, after watching all the fish nerd you tubers channels.... I am reconsidering it...great tip on adding prime after opening the bags, you have a very methodical approach to fish keeping. .thanks for sharing.
I can never seem to get my 250 gallon tank under 25 ppm nitrates but my fish seem happy, and full of energy and life..but I change water often but can still never get it under that..is that ok...

I don't know what program requirements you're referring to, but I use what I use because I think they're the best....or I wouldn't use them lol (Or recommend them) 😊
Check out Imperial Tropical from, I bought most of my fish from them. Only had 1 death out of the 20 orders i've got, (during the winter the water got too cold for the little jalo reef)
I got African cichlids today there beautiful I also spent 40 pounds on plants and all they have done is eat them or shred them up.. I wish I see this video before hand. I'm an idiot because I know you would of made a video about it

I dont have a second tank for quarantine...i have my tank up and running awaiting the delivery of my Mbunas. Any idea/alternative to quarantine them before putting them in the tank?
If they are your first fish it’s ok to put straight into the tank. You need to quarantine so new fish don’t get old fish sick. When you add more new fish then you should definitely quarantine.
Really nice fish kaveman. It’s always a good feeling unboxing new fish. Man kaveman I’m on my 4th day of quarantine for my 48 tiger barbs. I lost my first batch because I didn’t quarantine and I lost fish almost every other day. So yeah it’s a must to quarantine.
KaveMan Aquatics bro it was brutal. I had about 30 tiger barbs and yeah I got caught buying more and more that I didn’t even think to quarantine. Then one one got ick, it was like wildfire.
Kenny Thach Yup, ick will do that. For some people they have to experience this outbreak to understand how important quarantine is. Some, including myself, have to learn the hard way 🤷🏼♂️
KaveMan Aquatics I know. I ordered my first batch of tiger barbs from liveaquaria and literally floated them for 30 mins and threw them into my main tank. Literally a week after that the bodies started dropping
hey Kave check out "Live Fish Direct " online fish supplier I trust. ordered from them over 10 times and haven't had a bad experience yet. ( flat rate shipping )

How long do you quarantine your fish
Should be about a month but Min of 2 weeks
You should use a dropper when adding prime to the bags so you can control it better. Just a thought. I'm a huge fan of your videos please keep it up.
