It's suddenly quicker than the last one you guys tested... 7.6s 0-100 km/h is not bad for a 1.8t suv. More important is the strength of the engine at low rpms, so basically how much torque it produces, because that's what makes a car feel strong. I recently sat in one at the zurich auto show and I was stunned how well put together the interior was, really nice materials in this little suv. Bet in handles good.
I think it might be because they over reved the engine when they did the first gear start. It was changing up at 6500rpm vs 6200rpm for the 2nd gear start. Max power on this engine is @5500 rpm so ringing this engine out over 6000rpm seems pointless and will probably make it go slower. Seems to be a torque bias engine.
@@fakenews3676 Keep in mind our videos are not timed runs - just a visual demo. We run Vbox tests separately so we can conduct multiple runs. The best result was achieved in Dynamic driving mode and S mode for the transmission (auto shifting), with revs held on the brake before setting off. Hope that helps.
Exciting stuff starts at 3:10

So faster when it starts in second. Fascinating

Thank you for this detailed look at this beautiful car! Appealing price point in USA considering price point of similar BMW/Mercedes/Audi/etc.
Strange that the P300 isn't shown as an option on the Australian Jaguar website..
2:32 i lol'd so hard 😄
Any luck tracking down a 2021/2022 Ssangyong Rexton Ultimate ?
Wonder why it was reving out so high (6500rpm) when max power is only @ 5500rpm. Engine was running out of steam after 6000 rpm
5:49, what does that 8 right next to the s4 mean? Anyone, please?
it's a recommendation to shift up to 8th gear
Really disappointing that car in this level and price point soo slow.
I am not surprised that you can't find them on the road.
To top it off it wont even last more than 100 kilometers before major issues occur😂😂
gear ratio changed
4.11's in the rear ?
Quite heavy for this class of SUV
1785kg DIN is okay I would say. My Coupé weighs 1.9t
for this price,its slow,my 2020 chevy equinox 2.0T AWD is 1s faster
