    Los Angeles
    Episode 39
This trip starts at US Route 101 and travels west across Santa Monica Blvd through Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica until we eventually hit the end of the line at the Pacific Ocean.
Santa Monica Boulevard is a major west-east thoroughfare in Los Angeles County, California, that runs from Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica near the Pacific Ocean to Sunset Boulevard at Sunset Junction in Los Angeles. Santa Monica Blvd is part of the fabled Route 66 which once traveled along a stretch of Santa Monica Blvd and reached the end of its 2,448-mile run from Chicago near the beach in Santa Monica. A sign commemorates the “end of the trail” on Santa Monica Pier, where travelers can marvel at amazing coastal views from atop the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel at Pacific Park amusement park.

Great video, no need for music though! The natural driving sounds can be more relaxing

Very helpful video to help me find the Tesla Hollywood Movie SuperCharger Restaurant at minute 10:00 on the right side, North, at Orange St. and see the state of construction as of 6 to 8 weeks ago. Thanks a lot. Much bigger than I thought it would be with a yellow-wrapped UFO on top of the roof.

Santa Monica Blvd needs a repaving project from 405 Freeway to Centinela Avenue

Agreed. It’s amazing how lousy so many of the streets are considering we don’t get frost.

How is the driving etiquette/morale in L.A.? I see that drivers use turn signals. In Florida, that's less common. :)

To a degree traffic curbs some of the unwieldy driving but overall it’s still lacking. The driving etiquette here is probably on par lousy with most major cities.
