The Rock returned to SmackDown last night to shock the entire wrestling world. That pop was crazy. This was literally the perfect way to kick off the new merger with WWE and TKO. Austin Theory is living his best life. The dude’s been apart of moments with Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Stone Cold and now The Rock.
And everybody enjoys seeing him get his ass kicked. As for The Rock, he proved that he still got it when cutting a promo. This man controlled the entire arena with a few fingers. He got the entire crowd to chant that Austin Theory is an asshole. I loved every second of this return

it may happen at this years wm 40 , rock said it was supposed to happen last year but it didn’t happen due to creative reasons. so we may get it this year at 40.
Gotta give props to austin theory to try to go toe to toe with the rock on the mic and stealing his catchphrase in the process lol. The man wasn't afraid to get roasted by arguebly the greatest trash talker in the business.

Hopefully WWE makes larger than life superstars again to get reactions like The Rock, John Cena & Stone Cold did. Hopefully they get people like Austin Theory, Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Bron Breakker, Cora Jade, Solo Sikoa, Grayson Waller, Jacy Jayne, The Creed Brothers, Pretty Deadly, etc; to get reactions like those

If Cody beats Roman at the Royal Rumble, we could see Roman vs The Rock at Wrestlemania and potentially have Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton at Wrestlemania. The history between those two could make for an amazing story eventually culminating at Wrestlemania. We heard that Orton should return by the end of 2023, so if that’s the case, what I mentioned could be possible

I honestly just want to see more if The Rock in any capacity. He was there when I started watching wrestling in the early 2000s. His promos always found a way to make me laugh then and still do now. Even if I may not have completely understood the jokes when I was a kid back then lol
This was such a great SmackDown, now We all know about the Hollywood strike which is basically why both the rock and Cena are on SmackDown, however people are uncertain about what this means for Cody Rhodes facing Roman at Wrestlemania 40 since the rock had said on pat macafee’s podcast saying that mania was locked in for him to face Roman for the title now they will probably make it both nights for him to face Cody and the rock or they can do it separate ppv’s like in survivor series, Royal Rumble or other ppv’s because I would first see AJ styles and LA Knight going after for Roman reigns undisputed title.

Roman is not retaining the belt at 40, that’s ridiculous. Cody’s hot, but he’s not doing anything lately. You can’t just wait another year and a half.
