@@HimothyHumphry Honey you're still young, it's actually good that you have those kind of preoccupations already at that age but don't let them worry you. Passion is an emotion it comes and goes. You can have a passion your whole childhood and not have it throughout your teenage.
It's okay, do your daily prayers, ask Allah for his guidance, step out of your comfort zone and try new things. That way you may be able to find what you like.
Also , you should know that a passion (a hobby) is different from a job. Unfortunately it's not everyone who has the chance to work with something they like.

Brother, you are not correct. Chasing your dream doesn't mean you have to chase dunya. In order to practice Islam you don't have to depress yourself or get extream. Being a muslim means forming our lives according to Shariah. And as a muslim you can have dreams, you can have dreams about improving yourself, you can dream about doing something for the Ummah. But as a muslim you have to set boundaries for yourself, the thing you said about being gay......why would a real muslim chase his dream to become a gay? Islam never stops a person to grow individually or think critically, but the point is we have to find our way and answers from Quran and Sunnah. May Allah guide us all and grant us peace,Ameen😊
