Ma Shaa Allah your mom's story is very similar to my mom! ❤ She's also a revert to Islam Alhamdulillah, she was a Catholic too. She came to Saudi Arabia to work as a nurse and within just 1-2 months of working here she got curious about Islam and studied it at an Islamic Center and became Muslim 3 months later Alhamdulillah. My mom and dad later met at their work place. I'm half Filipino & half Sri Lankan born and raised in Saudi Arabia. ❤ Our parents made so much sacrifices by working abroad. Family is indeed everything and I am closer to the Filipino culture! Very hospitable and family oriented. May Allah bless you and your family! Mama Yusuf is full of wisdom, may Allah bless her immensely ❤

yea they're called "moros" and they're more in the southern region of the philippines while the catholic region is more up north
