Very nice and informative video. How long can we leave the car without battery before putting in a new one? Something like 2 minutes or a few hours? I am asking because I am wondering whether it will cause any electrical issue if we take the old battery out for testing before buying a new one.
for a few hours with out battery, really nothing would happens, only thing some devices are going to reset, in some cases an immobilizer can cause problems after disconnecting battery but that is only once in a while, thanks for visiting my channel.
@@JM-AUTO - Thank you for your quick response. I went on and replaced it with a new battery and my GL450 is now able to start on its own. All is running good but now I am getting the SRS error message: Malfunction - Front Right Service Required. Do you know which fuse box to check and/or anything I should I double-check?
@@JM-AUTO - I scanned it and here are the codes I got: 92A0, 9250, and 9023. It said something about Resistance Value in The Ignition Circuit is too high. If you can give me some advice, I'd appreciate it.
@@JM-AUTO - I double-checked around that passenger seat and ensured all looked good; but the warning was still showing. I then "reset" it from the scanner and that light is gone. Thanks for your help and Happy New Year to you and your family!
Itsxa real shame for a german made car, you have to cut up the interior , for a battery that had room to be put in the rear trunk area, ahame on mercedes....
Just some humbled insight. I mean no disrespect. I was born overseas within the European borders and I lived in 3 European countries before coming to the states from my personal experience with family/friends cars its not necessarily true. Most of Mercedes/ Alfa Romeo’s/Peugeot/ Renault/ Opel/ sedans have the battery either in the trunk or under their hoods. But most of the SUVs access the board have started locating their main battery under the seats or trunk being the most popular but some have 2 batteries main and sub batteries so as the expansion goes that’s my two cents 🏎️🚚🚗🚙. PS. THERE ARE EUROPEAN/ASIAN/INDIAN MODELS AND THAN THERE ARE THE GREAT US TO THE A MODELS.
Thanks bro great video, excellent tutorial.
thanks for the great comment I appreciated

@@musclerambo1 these codes are for passenger side , check under the seat and also the seatbelt close to where you worked.

Why you didn't show which battery you are installing it?
I really apologize for that, I should have mention it.
