- The weather was windy cold and wet... perfect for a spot of snapper fishing at the local mussel farm. A quicker and easier way to secure a feed of quality table fish when conditions are more difficult. This week we show you don't need flash gear or complicated rigs to catch good fish.
My only problem is.... you make it look so, so easy to catch 🐟 like snapper. But awesome video. Thanks for posting them.
Haha cheers mate thanks for watching
Really nice day
Bro you must have the best fish market in NZ, go out in a tinny get a mega feed, forget the rods all good, we will just hammer them on the handline, good on ya mate.
Thanks bro. Yea we are pretty lucky to have such great fishing so close here
Great fishing mate , kiwi living in Ireland here and really enjoying your videos , will definitely be fishing the Coromandel when I get home next. Keep the videos coming.
Love the first aid kit bro! Green thumb for gardeners, yellow thumb for snapper slayers!! Cheers for sharing the epic session.
Haha cheers mate. Yep gotta have a roll of electrical tape in the tackle bag, handy for a squillion things
Come on mate, you make the fishing so easy for my wife wondering why I always come empty handed! Good work, very impressive though.
Hahaha cheers mate. I can ban her account if that helps you?
Slaying it. Catching snap after snap like nothing. Great video..
Mean session 🤙 got to watch those gill plates thou 🤣
Yep i should know better. So sharp 😅
I think you need to change your name to snapper slayer. Awesome fishing session. Love cloud and rain for snapper fishing. Gee you have a tough day job.😁
Yea gotta love those overcast days too. Big fish feed on those dull days 😁
What an epic fishing session bro woohoo
Awsome video's bro an sis makes my day when watching
Chur thankyou
Had a little smirk with your comments on the hand line... I'm 65 and grew up on Wellington harbour...if I wasn't sailing I'd be out fishing with my grandad... No boat rods back then...all hand line...Turks, Blue cod, gurnard, Moki ....
Nice one man
I got some beauty size pannies at my secret spot in Mangonui last night and a nice moocher at 56cm. Gotta have that old fishing rag to grip the fish mate. Gill plate cuts are bloody sore. Love your channel bro. 👌
Yes I should have a rag there mate. That cut was a great reminder of that haha. Cheers for the support bro glad you like the vids
WHat a session haha. Can't complain haha. The days you dream about when you're at home :')

Hey man where abouts do you get your fishing gear from? Love your videos man watch you all the time go hard brother
I am here now but the weather does not look so promising for the next 3 days 😂
Sunday might be manageable if you pick your spots well 😁
@@MuddyFeet thanks mate, tried it on Sunday morning during the weather break, first time for my kids, they enjoyed it, will come back for sure
Many mussel farms where is it this one my friend?
Coromandel bro 🙂
looks like your hand line can use more drag
Haha I'll hafta increase my diet 😁
I know the feeling work on a mussel farm in the Farnorth, it ain't fishing its catching haha
Yep. A great way to grab a quick dinner
Houhora
Houhora mussel farm.
How far from te kouma is this area
What mussel farm are you at there? Looking to head out this weekend but not too sure where they are in the firth
All those farms produce good fish mate can't miss 🙂 but I do love the ones inside the coromandel harbor
hi what rod would you recomend im 15 with a 10ft tinny i do snaper and kahiwa fishing
Hey mate I would recommend a shimano bait runner or a shimano thunnus 8000 reel on a Shakespeare ugly stick black tiger rod. A combo that will land everything from pannies to kingfish for a reasonable price. Tight lines
@@MuddyFeet as a tackle salesman, i can confirm thats excellent advice. Perhaps the baitrunner 12 000 oc to begin with for under $300.00 combo
U had a hit from a kahawai well u we’re trolling
