Jamie mcCallum ever notice a lot of the best films come from the 70's and 80's there so Iconic at the end of the day no modern film can compete with them people from back then and people now get inspiration from films like this and not only the best films but the best songs back then they hired artist to make a song for the movie to represent the point of the movie now they are just lazy and just pick a modern day song or songs from the top ten best hits today rarely they make a song just for the movie
I remember when films like this began getting panned lol. The critics never understood that being over the top and silly was the entire point... everything became about complicated plots etc... etc... sometimes a dumb action flick is precisely what the Dr ordered.
All we want is the lead male to be rugged, tough, hard as nails, get the woman and drop absolute 1 liner bangers through the entire film. We don't give a fuck about how Robert pattisons character has emotions and needs support we wanna see a buff dude go on a fucking rampage looking cool as fuck lol
Couldn't agree more. I don't always want to watch a movie with deep themes or massive character development. Sometimes, I want to see a movie where I can check in my brain at the door and just see good guys blowing up bad guys who deserve it. Commando is definitely one of those movies, and I love it. @DDB-91
Words are angelic. Between the light and the endless night (Ereb & Nikta) . Levels of existence . Fighting with fire while watching those that conspire to torn the world apart etc.
I just came back from watching this movie, they currently have it for free (as of now) on RUclips, and I've forgotten how many iconic lines there is. Easily one of the best movies of the 80's.

This song is basically John matrix telling how much he loves his daughter and he is going to move mountains to get her back. And that his love for her is what gives him strength and determination.
Never understood why this was never a single or available to purchase. I still enjoy listening to it and it’s not a download on iTunes. I remember rewinding the VHS tape to listen to it over again. Good times….

Absolute gold dust! I watched Commando for the gazillionth time last night. It's total perfection including the sound track!
"Welcome back John, so glad you could make it."
Andy Taylor's guitar play is EPIC with the power station
Arnold greatest action hero of all tyme

Иван 032 arnie and sly are the best and cant be compared or choosen. They will the best action heroes of all time

I'm here on July 6th, 2024.

The 80s was a very good era to be a human. What a decade! ❤
27/10/24
Please come back 1980's... you were so awesome.
80's: No chance
World too soft for that
90s for me
Something About The Plane Taking off as this song is playing..just was so bad ass..Always remember I got chills as a kid...Great stuff...nothing like Classic 80's Action Flicks..And Arnie was the King!
The feeling of epic-ness... like you could go a do anything!!!
underrated 80's rock track and power station was an underrated band. listen to this and be amazed. if you don't i'll be back.
Petar N well said i fight for love too. if someone was kidnapped i really care about. i would do what it takes to get them back. fuck the police they don't do shit. they spend more time behind their desk today.
***** ha ha i like it jamie arnie mcCalum. this song does fit the film well.
Josh Mills oh i know that, the best films and soundtracks came from the 70's and 80's/
dont't worry, I love this song!
COMMANDO 1985
is 1 of the reasons that
I joined the
USMC in 1994
a one man
army of destruction
is one hell of an inspiration
I remember when films like this began getting panned lol. The critics never understood that being over the top and silly was the entire point... everything became about complicated plots etc... etc... sometimes a dumb action flick is precisely what the Dr ordered.
👏👏👏
All we want is the lead male to be rugged, tough, hard as nails, get the woman and drop absolute 1 liner bangers through the entire film. We don't give a fuck about how Robert pattisons character has emotions and needs support we wanna see a buff dude go on a fucking rampage looking cool as fuck lol
Couldn't agree more. I don't always want to watch a movie with deep themes or massive character development. Sometimes, I want to see a movie where I can check in my brain at the door and just see good guys blowing up bad guys who deserve it. Commando is definitely one of those movies, and I love it. @DDB-91
Dedicated to people who believe in honor and love!!!
Matrix: "Where did you learn to do that?"
Cindy: "I read the instructions"
Words are angelic. Between the light and the endless night (Ereb & Nikta) . Levels of existence . Fighting with fire while watching those that conspire to torn the world apart etc.
I just came back from watching this movie, they currently have it for free (as of now) on RUclips, and I've forgotten how many iconic lines there is. Easily one of the best movies of the 80's.
2019, Years where it is enjoyed to listen to classical music, music that will never die
I remember seeing this at Square One with 3 buddies when it came out. We were mesmerized by the movie. When the credits rolled we stuck around to hear this tune. It rocked but we had no idea who it was.
What is Square One?
@@Mogamishu Square One is a large mall in Mississauga, Ontario Canada. When I was a kid it was the mall to go to. It is now one of those super high malls. I do t even know if there is a theatre there. That was over 30 years ago now. Wow.
Square One! GTA born and raised here too. I lived in Markham so our local threatre was The Promenade, but in the late 90s my brother and I used to go to Playdium when it was at Square One.
Powerful music Greetings from Algeria city of Oran 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
2024 black man still rocking this classic 🔥💪🏾. I miss real music like this.
This song should have been released!
A compilation of kick ass songs like this, perfect for working out. Rocky's theme is one and Fight to Survive are other examples.
the running man theme? bad to the bone
Kumite! Kumite! Kumite!
Angel of the City? No easy way out? Heart's on fire? If all you listen to is Eye of the Tiger, which by the way everyone knows about, then you don't know 80's action movie music.

"Mr. Bennett, my soldiers are patriots."
Brenda Forster “your soldiers are nothing, matrix and I cud kill every 1 of them in a blink of an eye ,remember that”

Best scene
My favourite as well.Gets me every time
let out some steam Bennet
Remember he's fighting for his daughter.... we fight for love! Awesome message... big, muscular guys fighting for the love of their daughters or sons. Same with Stallone- Over the top, Rocky....... proves men can be macho but soft. The kinda man I wanna be
I miss the 80's
So much that it hurts.
Me too, and I'm an 89 baby man. The first several years of the 90s was straight up 80s. Thankful for living in an area where fads take a tad longer to come and go. Lotta credit to my parents as well.
80s will never die!
I got this idea brewing of an all 80s bar/club. Looking for thoughts and suggestions.
@@pem428 lol same... we grew up just at the tail end of shoulder pads and big hair.
I was made in 85 an I wish I was 20 years older so I could have enjoyed the best 2 decades before pc bullshit crept up on us an fucked everything up!!
When I listen to this sound tracks I wish there was nothing like new school in music. This songs create an unforgettable memory in my head.
This song is basically John matrix telling how much he loves his daughter and he is going to move mountains to get her back. And that his love for her is what gives him strength and determination.
Do me a favor don't disturb my friend. He's dead tired
Such a classic line!
the best pun i have even heard
I see u everywhere
Kirby: Leave anything for us?
John: Just bodies.
I have a hard rock remix of the handshake clap from predator on my channel it's reasonably dope
- It is you who is afraid, Mr. Bennett.
- Of course, I'm smart!!
number 1 Film as a child! Second being total recall!
This is workout music, personified.
Great track to a great 80s action movie. Love this track 👍
Exactly what I'm doing right now. 👍
This song kicks ass and the movie awesome
Jo Merry it’s so fucking good
Never understood why this was never a single or available to purchase. I still enjoy listening to it and it’s not a download on iTunes. I remember rewinding the VHS tape to listen to it over again. Good times….
I had to rewind some VHS videos back in the day myself 🤣👍
I remember watching Commando as a kid probably 8-9 and thinking it was terrific but then not thinking much more until 10 years later and loving all the components of this film. As a Dad myself, I can understand a little bit more with what he'll go through too!
