Remember seeing this when I was 16 with 3 buddies from high school. Such an awesome movie when we’re all young, innocent with our lives ahead of us. I’m 52 and still watch this when it is on TV.
When I was a kid in 80s, friends of mine told me that I am stupid because I liked the Arnie's movies. I am proud of myself loving the Arnie's movies in those days because nowadays there are only truly stupid movies that no one is moved by.
Whoever edited, this took the best parts with all sweet old memories with it. This generation should know how we enjoyed commando and make it stay for future generations on watch again and again.
I'm 50 years old, and I watched this movie when I was young. It brought back alot of memories. I was a Arnold fan thin as well now...and see young lil Alissa Malonio in this brought smile to my face cause my daughter now watches this movie at 14, and loves it.
Hollywood forget to make this kind of movie anymore.... Those 80's movies never make back again as well as the background music and album of the movie....

You know even though this movie is a cliché and fact that I was born a year later after this masterpiece came out but Arnold out-does himself in every role he got ever since Hercules In New York and honestly, John Matrix is the perfect proof that one man with a titanium will and military expertise can still make for an excellent father and a dangerous adversary... Far more dangerous than an entire legion of adversaries. P.S I still believe in that principle even though I'm 34 now but John inspired me to enlist in the military which I excelled at thank God but the main antagonist reminds me of the late Freddy Mercury.
I love how genuine this movie is. Zero irony. Zero self-awarness. Just 100% honesty and deep belief that Bennet is an evil badass and not unintentional gay icon.
i know every dialogue in this movie by heart seen it countless times and each time it never fails to entertain, after Predator this is my favorite movie of all time. Arnold is a machine he makes it look like he could really pull this off
