Video presenting the construction of a remote control excavator.
WARNING. It is not a DIY, it is an example of construction, I am not a professional. I just want to share the making of a compact RC excavator.
The excavator will be semi-scale, so not 100% identical to the real model, some parts are adapted according to the constraints of the scale model.

Wow, brilliant project.. Keep it up.. Now i know why this type of RC excavator selling so expensive.. 🤣 It worth for the price tag and skill to built... Admire your skill too.. 👍👍
Holy cow, what an amazing build and the attention to detail! Loved this series! I totally see why construction RC equipment is so expensive. Awesome skills you have and I'm speechless! Thanks for sharing your passion!
This was just plain incredible. I was completely captivated through all 4 parts. I design and build industrial machinery for a living... maybe I need to scale down. This looks like so much fun.
LOVED the series! The programming though, wow. You must really know your way around that! I wouldn't even know where to begin. Great job, really amazing!
Making a good video always comes with the combination of several things or skills. First of all an awesome topic by making a machine like this...on scale!! The skills of the maker, the camerawork at last but hardly least, the music from Dalyas and the Unicorn Heads I believe. All three of these combined deserves a medal of honour in making things how they were made. Big thumbs up for your patience, skills, camerawork and choosing your music. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video with me 👍👍❤️
Sir you will tell in description you are not an professional but I think you are a brelent idea more than professional thank you
As
You show that the model made in this way does not have to be extremely expensive, of course, I omit all the hydraulics (pump, valves and cylinders) are the most expensive elements of this build. In the description you made a reservation that it is not an exact copy of a real machine, it does not matter to me, because in my opinion what you have built does not differ in quality from the extremely expensive RC excavators for thousands of Euro. Looks like real and works like real, plus you made it with your own hands. Could there be anything more satisfying? You should open your own manufacture, because I see that you are a talented person. Congratulations!!! P.S. Thank you for the electronics wiring diagram, it makes all connections are clear. It is a big help for newbies. :))) Best regards from Poland :)
Fucking amazing I drive one every day and it's spot on wow
You should build an operating cockpit with be and joysticks
1 : 15 In size and In price, I am sure of that hahaha. That is a man toys
I work on these irl. Just today installed a webasto heater.
Complements to your build. Thumbs on all parts. I am not it took some time and $$ to build this module and to have working hydraulics 😁👌
😁👍👍👍👍👍
A couple of questions if you don't mind me asking:
- You welded the brass, and glued the aluminum. However, there is a part on video 1 that you weld some silver material with the electric welder. What material is it?
- To glue the aluminum, you just use Epoxy glue or something similar to JBWeld?
Brass and steel are soldered with electronic solder tin. Aluminium is glued with epoxy. Sometimes I use Alia 382 for solder aluminium but not on thin parts.
I use epoxy Endfest 300
Steve, is the black hydraulic hose you are using a bit flexible, or hard?
Usually if it's hard it is very difficult to fix to the connector
It's the magom, harder than leimbach but softer than APK or most of china product. Good conpromise for 15bars
That was absolutely brilliant. I stumbled across the video at 23h20. Was still watching at around 01h00. Wife was, are you for real 🤣
Ja und 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😄😄😄☺️😃☺️😃☺️☺️☺️😄☺️😃😃😀👍🤓

I'm seriously positively jealous, love watching this! your craftsmanship is out of this world !!
keep going this is great
Hi good for you you have great job
Nicely done sir, kudos.
Very nice, god jop.👍👍
Es ist wie immer top. Ich freue mich dir zusehen zu können. Würde dir glatt einen abkaufen 🙈🙈
Well.. I have no words. This is incredible. In fact, this is very inspiring. Some things, if you want them to be really good, require a lot of attention and details, and those who are not afraid, just roll up their sleeves and get the job done, piece by piece, piece by piece. In the end you have a beauty. I have a (programming) project myself, for it to become complete, I still need to get a lot of minor details done. There is no work around, one just needs to sit down and do parts of the job, one by one, till the end.
Hello, would I be right in assuming these are closed centre spool valves? And that the PRV is always off the seat maintaining pressure the whole time the pump is running?
Yes, that why ths pump isn't allways running
@@BartsteRCModels cool, thanks
very nice video brother😊
Mach weiter so 👍🏼
Thanks. I didn't use the Kobelco 1000. It's partialy disassembly now for converting it in a more standard digging machine (short arm)
Impressive and fantastic build!!. I wasn't expecting working cylinders or full remote controls,, then I saw the pump system with the reservoir and valve set :D .
where you get the Hydraulic System from ?
Magom HRC
😲🤯wow that's great
Mach nöd so viel Werbig. Arte hät kei Werbig zB.
Ich habe sie beim Hochladen gelöscht. Vielleicht dauert es eine Weile, es ist ein Fehler
Can you make a video where you go a little more in depth on how you program your models in open tx ? I am currently working on my volvo ec 160e but i cant realy get it going smooth even by using your profile as a guide.
I'm one of to hitachi excavator driver and i like your working.. 👍👍

Nice job 😍😍😍
I love how your mind works and thanks so much for sharing this build with us. Beautiful!
Hammer Modell!!! Echt schön geworden🤤
Yeah the craftsmanship and attention to detail is outstanding! Except: the driver/operator should be wearing a seatbelt as per operating instructions. Just sayin'...
My jaw just hit the desk. Amazing job!

Merci ! C'est une pompe Jung HR-7 avec réducteur planétaire kontronic 5:1. La liste de pièce est dispo dans la description si vous voulez d'autres infos.
Great work as always. For the lights where do you source the switch to do the lights? Around 8:49 time? What is the next project? Or is it enjoy outdoors time now?
Thanks. I use the receveir 5V directly from the PWM wire. You can find the wiring diagram and parts liste in the description.

ATF oil
Amazing work.. makes me wish I could do anything near as clever👏👏👏👏
Simply amazing. Outstanding job. I would love to own one.
You, sir, are a master! But for the future, have you ever considered making an aerial work platform? Because no one is making them at the moment. For example, the JLG H340AJ. Thank you for your beautiful videos!
Thanks, it's not in project for now, but maybe a small aerial platform truck (3.5t) like I use on my everyday job
Speechless!!! Thanks for sharing
