Zain, your right but Royal Mail will not guarantee a delivery confirmation on the 24/48 with a OBA, I’ve had this Conversation with them, they will not guarantee the post person will scan the QR code, had quite a few items not received, I was sending large letters second class, then switched to 48, my items not received as dropped but I still get them, some of theses buyers know the score, they check first then claim item not received. Keep these videos coming some great information 👍
Mark, I had same problem, There are sticker you can buy off eBay, It says "Postman Please scan the code on delivery"" I use those know and have less problems than before.

Hi Zain, Great informative videos. Just a point on the Royal Mail Barcode no. which you have mentioned shows when the item is delivered. Unfortunately, it does not show as item delivered or scan on delivery. This service as I know is only on Royal Mail 24 or 48 service. Thanks

Thanks for this. I have an "item not received" case and Royal Mail was able to confirm the package from the reference on the print out label. It was my fault, I didn't put correct postage but at least the matter can be sorted 👍🏾

One thing to watch out for, if Royal mail deliver late, it goes down as a defect on your account. I've got a case where uploaded post office receipt showing dropped off day after sale but e bay now want a report from royal mail as to why it was late to remove defect!!!!
There is option to appeal is by choosing reason, Circumsanctes out of my control

I've had loads of 1st class items sent requiring a signature.. it doesn't get signed abd 2 weeks later a claims comes through.
Customer gets refunded; abd then 2 months later it shows delivered. The royal mail say we'll you cant claim then and ebay vustomer service will not accept liability despite pressuring you to refund before they step in.

Yes they have Tracking as standard, sign for is bit extra. I send expensive stuff with RM, cheap with Hermes. at the end it saves me good money

It is just with parcels. Normal 1st and 2nd class are doesn't come with delivery confirmation unless you're on Business account and choose track 24 or 48
Nice video. If an item you have for sale sells on eBay, do you have to purchase the eBay online label or can you just take it toi the post office and they do thast upon your request? How will eBay know that your item is on its way? Thanks

The reference number doesn't always work, I've had to claim from Royal Mail as buyers are saying they never got after a week, , I just add extra into my items and most go signed depending on how much it sells for also , Hermes is cheap I use them for heavy items

Meanwhile check item weight and dimensions and use Royal mail price finder, Google royal mail price finder. Assallam ulikum i keep getting not received cases two a week and i have proof of postage but not any tracked parcel, im just selling as normal second class large letter, my item are low value items, i dnt know what to do as adding tracked to the postage will not get my items sold then
Only send tracked to people with low feedback and new account rest just send normal and believe in humanity. Hahaha welcome to the business , it is the way it is

Royal mail first class signed for still showing in transit its 3 days late and customer asking for refund! I have refunded the customer what can i do now. And what if they receive it after refund what happens then thanks zain
Depends on their honesty, I will ask customer to pay or send back if delivered, if not claim from Royal mail.
