I just like seeing professional salesmen go at it. What fascinating behavior.
It's like a game to them 😂
It's wholesale business. In most transactions, both parties don't have this kind of equal knowledge of the product
Yeah I don’t even know what the hell they’re talking about but it’s interesting to watch.
Wtf do you mean fascinating behavior? Lol
Me to, thats why i watch the videos!
5:56 That was a smooth insert of dinner into the deal hahahaha
nice catch! I didn't even notice the "and you take me out to dinner". Sweet
Nah b
Great example of how important relationships are when doing business.
Keep pumping this long form content, your shorts built you up now use the foundation. I can watch you all day long
Yeah I agree, love the shorts but would love longer videos even more. The gem business is so interesting to watch!
agreed!!
Agreed.
100% agree with this comment
This! I binged all the shorts and now the longer content would be great.
The dude with the tennis bracelet and emerald negotiation was such a forthright and lovely dude ❤
You can just tell his gem intellect is on a different level
Or his ability to BS is lol.. but idk
I’ve met this guy in person. He’s a genius.
@Sam Goldsmith I will agree, very genuine guy.
@@DManLewis1 he studied gemology...
Now kiss. 👁 👄 👁
I know nothing about gems but this is so fun to watch. Can you insert pictures of the stones after you buy/sell them so we can see them closer?
Yes please
Or macro lens
With a lil “cha-ching” sound 😂
Awesome to see a longer one.
Seems like this guy has at least 65 cousins around the world 😂
I have no knowledge in gems but I love watching this. It's something about a guy showing of his expertise like this. Love the longer format also!
I’ve always been incredibly uncomfortable with bartering, and this dude doesn’t really put in any education on gemstones. So I’m watching this with my very limited knowledge on diamonds specifically. (and obviously moissanite cubic syconium, etc..)
Love this content !! Long video format is better and very authentic as always. Nice that you show also failed deals. It would be nice to have an conclusion if the convention day and what you expected etc. Anyways keep going !!
2:35 to 2:40 you could see Avi go from happy to bargain with a friend to 'omg this guy isn't even budging, I thought we were friends, he's trying to rip me off and not see the deal I'm giving him' ... Great job posting this whole video for us! Really loved this one, great to see the uncut versions of the shorts/tiktok uploads, Thank you!! Can't wait for more!
Full videos like this because Im not on TikTok are what I would love to see on your channel! Even unedited videos I would watch!
“I need to save money for a wedding” 😂
…as he is literally selling diamonds ☠️
Yeah right? The BS clarity is pure yo!
😅😂😊...
I love watching these because it's two guys give each other the hardest time but being so friendly about it. MAZAL!
Love the longer video- please keep them coming your channel is on the cusp of going into orbit

Makes me wanna get BACK into it.
Although the only thing I have any knowledge of is diamonds and diamonds alone
Yay finally long form!! Keep it up
Man I didn’t know you were in Tucson and made most of your content from that gem show a couple weeks ago. I’ve seen all your videos just because I’m so interested in negotiating and gems too even though I wasn’t before! Happy to see your channel grow
First time watching and that was quite interesting. I hope to see more of this come across my feed
Great negotiating skills and thank goodness they are family.
Fastly became one of my favorite channels!

I know nothing about gems, but I'm stoked you finally put out a longer video - mazal!

Would love to see some long form vlogs from things like this!
Please make more long form content. I would love to learn more from you!
I just accidentally ran into this and this is really amazing how they go back and forth like that.
Great to see this in action!
Fun video, thanks Avi :)
Man I love watching these.
That buy for the 1ct pair from your family was just smooth. That dude was chill af and more like "spit it out boy im gonna mazal anyways for once" haha
Living in Tuc-town is crazy, because aint shit here, except for a 3 month long world renowned gem show.... So like, cool I guess? Truth be told I've been talking MAD SHIT since I was young about oldies going to something as boring as a gem show, little did I know, they are a WONDERFUL place full of some highly intense negotiation which is just.... ugh, bestill my heart, love love love this shit.
my toxic trait is thinking i could negotiate this good
Love the vids, would like more
It's nice the way even when they were too far apart to make a deal they reach that conclusion pretty quickly without trying to nickle and dime each other at all. Like you might expect in a failed negotiation done by amateur traders.
Time is money and you need to assess the probability of reaching a profitable deal versus the time invested in negotiations.
Yes keep going with the long form bro. This stuff is made for it
We love your videos!!
Thanks for watching!
This is the job I want to learn and do. I've been a lover of gemstones my entire life but always been very poor .....which makes me crafty and I've been able to buy decent value gemstones very inexpensively and verify them....but I am not a seller because I'm not super familiar in the market...I'd love if people came to me with what they want and their price range/budget and I could hunt down and negotiate the best deal I can for them for the quality gemstones they want
Interested to see this I enjoyed the video 👍
Love your shorts and Videos, gem talking.
That was interesting to watch, your great at negotiating
The longer videos are clutch
after thoroughly watching this video time and time again i can confirm he did indeed negotiate ultra rare gems at the tucson gem show
We need more of these video's bro.
Why am I addicted to Avi negotiating and these videos lol keep it up Avi
Just ran across your channel. Now im waiting for more.
I love the colors
Love the Videos
More long form content like this please!!
Can you make a guide on gems in general? I have no idea the lingo/measurements you are using, but they seem very interesting to me.
I literally know negative information about anything jewelry but but I found this captivating!
I come here because I’ve always felt incredibly uncomfortable bartering with other cultures that make it a requirement to do any business that doesn’t involve them fucking you in the ass hard and dry… dry like the desert sands
4:52 dude came down off of his price by 42k makes me wonder what he got it for
I have worked in sales as a team leader, selling products to directors and business owners, ceo's etc. The world of gem selling looks amazing. I wish i knew where to start with it.
Awesome video i hope you make more
That was really beautiful Diamond can you guess what price should I pay for it.
DUDE I LOVE YOU
I love this video, negotiating skill
Yo I looked up my town and saw this RUclipsr who is one of my favorites!!!
I’m just getting into gemstones 💎. Just got a Faceting machine. You got any rough stones that need cutting or you want to sell?😊
You're a good negotiator! Your 4ct Colombian minor-oiled (without cert) emerald @ $8K/ct is pretty high, even for that quality. $750 for the African rubies is fairly good price in 2023. Maybe 5 years ago you can get it at $500/ct.
I can’t believe I’m listening to this as I go to sleep
And here we all are paying like double his price! I need Avi on my next wife accessories purchase!
this was an awesome video
There’s 1 AVI the watch and than there is you the gem 💎 guy . Amazing content
the "cousin price" had me rolling
Still waiting for NEW CONTENT AVI KEEP THESE VIDEOS COMING
Sir . People can even learn somethink from these videos i like it ❤
Do more videos like the video you are very knowledgeable!
Nice Negotiating Techniques.! Love from Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
Awesome vid
Avi! Loving these videos but I’m running out of them to watch!
More of these videos!
I would be so happy if u make a beginners guide video for people like me who are very interested in this but are afraid of losing money by buying something overpriced
Honestly, just buy lab grown. It's significantly cheaper and looks just as good to regular people. Nothing is lost going lab grown.
There's no quick guide to what Avi is doing. He can only do it because he's spent years in the business learning every cut, about color, lighting, market priceses going up and down and good old fashioned salesmanship.
SOme booths will legitimately not even negotiate with you because you don't own a business or you aren't a regular customer of theirs. They can spot a newbie just by how you handle yourself and what questions you ask.
Buy lab grown if you must have a stone and set that. You'll be much happier.
@@crushycrawfishy1765 imagine if everyone thought like this.
The craft would die out in 100 years after all the now alive foggies are dead.
@@tobbcittobbcit8899 People get into this industry by becoming apprentice to someone thats already on it. Trying to parachute yourself into it is just asking for trouble.
That royal blue gem was so nice
more long videos please!
Is this just a huge event where all the cousins gather to try rip each other off 😂
Nice one avi
4:51
Really fun to watch 2 young bucks negotiate lol
It's crazy how much money these jewelers will spend in a day. You wouldn't think the market would be so big, but apparently I'm just not too into them. Love the negotiation side of it though
I remember my first time buying South Sea pearls at Greenhills the pearl dealer I was with told me I was a natural in matching, haggling & making a good deal.
I had no idea how interesting some random guy buying gems could be.
I dont understand what is happening here, but it's just so satisfying to watch.
The tough negotiations remind me of trading magic the gathering cards in grade school 😂
So he buys stones from one booth then sells to another at the same building and same event!? Like for real lol
i wish i was confident and knowledgeable enough to buy this big without getting ripped.
Great video.
