He doesn't shift the power of anything, he just refuses to budge on the price, that's all you have to do. You could do the same thing.
the lack of eye contact in every single one of these deals is intersting
No disrespect to the trade, but it's easier to be dishonest without eye contact.
Finding leverage on the fly and utilizing it with confidence is what makes people feel like they've lost the negotiation. And this guy feels it after the trade comment and the "not budging"
Facts, during these deals is like talking to the police, anything you say can and will be used against you.
At I think the guy started off by complementing his stone, but where he funked up is when he said that he already had a buyer and on top of that he said that he has none of them in stock.
I'm sure that guy incredible salesman but he broke every rule of leverage in the first sentence LOL

- guy has no other option in this present moment, which means you're not only negotiating for the deal. Your qualifying him for his next sale as well.

It's amazing how much knowledge, and expertise is required to actually understand what's going on. I can't imagine how much extra it takes to be profitable. It's a good lesson that brains is EVERYTHING. Provided the connections, 'drive', and funding is also there.

I have no clue whatsoever about gems but I’ve seen every single one of your shorts and videos! Hope you’d consider making a video explaining terms like inclusions, etc. would rather watch your content than googling it myself lol
I did the same. It's imperfections basically. Little bits of shit that have grown into the stone.
An inclusion just what it sounds like: something _included_ in the stone that's not the same material as the rest. It can be literally anything (e.g., water, gas, petroleum), but it's usually a different type of rock/mineral around which the main stone formed.
Some types of stone (e.g., topaz) tend to have little to no inclusions, while others (e.g., emerald) almost always have some inclusions.

Listen man, you could get so much more interaction with these long form vids. I know you just started, but my friends and I who have been watching you prefer this format over the past couple of weeks than the other formats. Obviously shorts are derived from this format but you could kill 2 birds with 1 stone if you pump these out alongside the yt/ig/tt shorts
