I absolutely love Ina Garten, always have. I never knew these things about her. I have so much more respect for her and cannot wait to read the book. So grateful I saw this segment. Thank you Tam, you’re fabulous!
Ina has a newer show since Contessa. She spends an hour (condensed from the day) with a celebrity and cooks with them at her beautiful estate. Congrats Tam on your terrific interview!
I was watching Ina as a child, then young adult. I’m in my 40s now. I never cooked any of her meals but I was always smitten by her energy and her adoration of Jeffrey (and his adoration of her). The man I married at 40 years old is like Jeffrey…and our marriage has been healing to me in so many ways. ❤
I have seen interviews about her book several times and each time it never fails to delight me❤ Even with her unhappy home life growing up, Ina doesn't seem to have bitterness or anger in her demeanor. Jeffrey's love for her must have healed all that.
I remember when Ina was the only food person I watched ..outside of Julia and Jacques ... and I always will remember the episode of her sharing how she prepeped behind the scenes and trying out the recipes before doing the show .... and of courae Jeffrey 🎉🎉🎉 ***the Barefoot Contessa 🌟

Ina was when the food network was about cooking. I loved watching her cook and entertain.
Yes! Go glad to be watching during that era
*listening to Ina on TBC was like watching Bob Ross paint, utterly joyful, relaxing & melting with happiness.* 🥰📺🍲

How blessed you are. I don’t have a good marriage-it’s one filled with fear, inability to relate, selfishness.

I love the barefoot contessa!
Me too, she has the most soothing voice. I would love her to narrate documentaries, she would be fantastic!

It’s a shame she needs to talk about her childhood now. Sad.
It’s called healing. Some people never get there.
