What Islamic Sources can we as Christians use to prove to Muslims that the Bible is preserved and authoritative?

What I understood when I read The Arabic line of " I believe in you...", that he meant by it the original of the Torah, and this is actually the opinion of some of the Muslims scholars.

JESUS ACCEPTED WORSHIP
In book of Acts in the Bible we see when Cornelius fell down to WORSHIP Peter and he rejected being worshiped. Indeed no man should worship another man and no man should accept the worship of another man.
But....JESUS ACCEPTED WORSHIP. He was worshiped when He was on this earth, since His birth. If He is not God and if He was just a mere man, He would have not accepted these WORSHIPS.
So His acceptence of worship is another clear proof for those who question His Godship.
"And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him."

"And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Son of God is NOT another seperate God, "Son of God" is a one nature of the same one and only God....This is the truth now is widely being tried to attack by devil.
So if anybody opens his eyes and ears and read the Bible, then Bible is not hidden under the earth for anyone not to see clearly what it says. Bible tells things clearly, Bible tells the truth clearly, but the problem is people's eyes and hearts are the ones which are hidden from the truth.

I have taken the time to study the 5 pillars of the Islamic faith out of respect for Muslims . I have also studied the origin of the Islamic faith. This not only gave me the ability to engage any Muslim on a foundational level but it also helped to further solidify my own faith in Christ and the bible. So when i say many do not have the time, i could have been more clear i suppose. Many do not have time to study the Quran to the degree this brother has as we spend more time studying the teachings of Christ’s and the scriptures instead. However i do belive every follower of Christ should at least study the fundamentals of the Islamic faith and its origin.

Before I left islam for years I felt that islam is not adding up. It is just a big nonsense.

I know nothing of the Quran but I enjoy hearing your opinions on it from an ex Muslim. I can’t believe that the Quran could be true even after being hundreds of years after the New Testament and almost 2000 years I believe after the Torah… that alone to me suggests it’s a form of plagiarism.

As muslim who follow Quran only, I do believe that the Torah and bible today are still reliable and was revealed or inspired from God, and those ahlul kitab must uphold and follow the laws in their scriptures. It is contradiction if we assume that Torah and Bible today is corrupted because in Quran it is mentioned that they must follow their scriptures (Quran 5:68). Let say, the Torah and bible today or at the time of prophet were corrupted, then how can they follow their scriptures then? Many muslims argue that Torah and bible today are corrupted and they only believe the original Torah and Bible back then. If the muslims claim that scriptures are corrupted, can they provide or show where is the original Torah or Bible? of course they can't provide it.

@@soheil527 the reason is not based on what you think. Simple example, jonah and jesus were living the same time. Why jonah follow torah while jesus follow torah and injil? If you use your assumption or muslim narrative, jonah should follow jesus because jesus had a book while jonah didn't have book except torah. In muslim narrative, there is a hadith that said "if prophet moses live at the time of prophet muhammad then moses himself would follow Quran, and not Torah" which mean to me ridiculous...

I am a Christian and I saw this hadith from Jami at-Tirmidhi, Muhammad mentioned "if there would be a prophet after me, it would be Umar."
My question is this: Did Muhammad actually choose his "successor" to become a prophet like Umar? So that means, Muhammad was NOT the "last prophet" after all?

Jesus also claimed that the Torah should not pass away until heaven and earth would pass away. Matthew 5:17... 1 John tells us to keep the commandments. Followers of Jesus are supposed to keep the Law of Moses too, not just Jews. We are a part of Israel as believers in Yeshua/Jesus.

Yeah. So it is true that we muslims believe that the Torah and the Injeel were the books of God, but as can be seen by this verse they have been altered. So yes there is truth in it (where it has not been altered) and there are false statements in it.
I personally utilize the qur'an to differentiate between the truth and the false statements.
For e.g. in the qur'an we know Satan is a jinn whereas the bible claims it to be a fallen angel. So I don't follow that. However, the biblical story seems to claim that Adam ate an apple and thereby gained knowledge of good and evil (we don't have this much detail in the qur'an, and hence I will take the word of the Bible).
So yeah, Bible is important to me. But if it contradicts the qur'an then I reject it because it has been altered by humans for political reasons.
Similarly hadiths have been altered by Mu'awiyah (an evil ruler during the early muslim period) and he changed hadiths (and removed some) for his own political reasons.
So yeah.
I get that you left islam as some things do seem contradictory to me.
But what strikes me is that you went back to christianity which is 10 times worse than islam in terms of contradictions. Something smells fishy.
Maybe you just want to find hope, and religion does provide hope.

Abou Salaheddine I'm afraid that argument won't work. There are still multiple problems with this:
1. Flies carry diseases primarily on their legs and hairs. In contrast, Muhammad says they're found primarily on their wings so Muhammad couldn't get that part right.
2. The researches extracted the secretions with an ethanol solution - so it requires filtration and extraction methods. This stands in stark contrast to what Muhammad says - he tells us to dunk houseflies in our food and drink as soon as they've suddenly landed in them. If you take Muhammad seriously and you literally dunk a filthy fly in your food or drink, you're going to expose yourself to even more pathogens, contract all sorts of sicknesses and diseases...and ultimately die.
3. Muhammad also explicitly (and stupidly) says that the cures for a whole batch of diseases are on A SINGLE FLY WING. The research STILL doesn't show the disease on one wing and the cure on the other as stated in the hadith. Germs don't know how to select one wing over the other.
Plus, how do explain all the other ethical and spiritual problems with Muhammad's life such as Him delivering the satanic verses, having black magic cast on him and violently subjugating non-muslims?

You say youre not under mosaic law but rather under the law of christ...implying the mosaic covenant wasnt eternal...how then do you explain the 1000s of verses in the old testament that say the Mosaic covenant is Eternal for the jewish people? Off the top of my head, take Exodus 31:16 & 17, or take Deuteronomy 29:28, or take Judges 2:1...also how can jesus be the messiah if practically speaking all the prophecies in the prophets about the end of days apply only to "the seed of jacob" and to those who "observed the torah" and that God will do judgement against those who "ate pig" (issiah 66:17) or that one of the traits of the mesiah is that he will "fear God" (isiah 11:2), also none of the countless prophecies about the messiah bringing all the jewish people back to israel, literally none of them, apply to jesus, none. Your relentless efforts to disprove the Quran and defame the Prophet motivated me to go and formally learn from recognized teachers about the Quran, the seerah of the Prophet as well as the science of hadith.
I have come to the conclusion tht it is mathematically impossible based on the principal of probability, to fabricate the Quran.
I also now understand how hadith was to an extent , preserved and why it had different levels of evidence and how the scholars grade those hadith.
Further studying the life of the Prophet, his wives, family and companion from primary sources was also an eye opener to me as i was previously mostly exposed to the thoughts and oppinions of people who were in fact not experts in the field due to their inability to get it frm primary arabic sources. I am convinved now that he was the prophet of God!

Prophet Mohammad merely says that he believes in the Torah and the one who revealed it. Saying that he believes in the Torah does not mean that he believes in every jot and tittle. It could mean that he believes in the overarching message of monotheism or believes in the non-corrupted parts. BTW, only hadeeths in Bukhari and Muslim are sahih. The hadeeth you quoted is hassan meaning that it still has a high probability of being false. Show me where the Prophet says that he believes in the **Entirety** of the Torah.

Absolutely NO writer in the New Testament mentions the horrifying destruction of Jerusalem. They were JEWS and this would have devastated them. Even Paul didn't mention it in his letters.
