I like this coach, very natural on camera. Nice tips !
This is exactly what I was looking.
I have been in a slump.
Last night I asked my pro if he could see what I was doing wrong.
It turned out in my starting position I was holding the ball away and too far right. When I go into the swing I was moving the ball too far around my back and deliver the ball across my body. The pro instructed to do this exact thing and it made having a parallel swing so much easier.
Amazing one single change can make
Thank you Brad and Kyle for bringing in Daniel
I’ve been struggling to trying to find the correct stance on my game, this helps A LOT! Thx guys!
Thank you for the tip. Long story short, I tried this stance because I didn't know that I was off balance before. I bowled my personal high today of a 262. with a 3 game score of 685. Most of the time I bowl around 180, until today.
Stop lying lol
@@MarcoLiftz what makes you think he's lying?
@@PjMargraff6bowler i was just being funny
😂
They finally opened the alleys in Michigan, pretty sure I forgot how to bowl so this helps, thanks guy.
Great tips for a proper foundation. If only the lanes in California were open to practice the knowledge share by Brad, Kyle and the generous coach Daniel.
These are some great tips. So nice to see another Brad and Kyle video. I am curious though, are you guys planning on vlogging at the PBA league every day this year? A lot of your fans, including me, have been missing them. Love you guys and hoping to see more great content.
I have been learning a lot from watching these videos!
I need any tips that I can get because this pandemic has kept me away from bowling 🎳
Same here. I'm subbing tonight. Haven't rolled since March.😥
We are bowling why aren’t you. Wear a mask wash yourself hands social distances.
@@richardgee9434 Bowling is a social sport. You can NOT distance yourself. I refuse to wear a mask while I bowl.
Oh well. I bowled on Fri. Crappy. But .I did.
been bowling all summer and fall. mask in between shots. easy peasy
Super great tip guys I’m excited to try this on Thursday I think this will help me tremendously thank you
coach dan is awesome
Great video. I actually have been working on timing issues, and I saw this. I thought simplifying my setup would work really well hand-in-hand with the other adjustment I was trying to make. What an understatement! This has been tremendous as far as making all of my mechanics more consistent, and that's just over a 4-week period. As I get more and more used to this, I believe I'll improve drastically this year.
Thanks for all of the videos and tips! You guys are great!
I'm on my schools bowling team and our first competition is next week and I needed this, thank you.
Must’ve seen this video God knows how many times, but always have something to LEARN. EXP. WHERE TO HOLD THE BALL. THANK YOU GUYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Great tips. Its important to work with the natural structures of the body instead of fighting against it.
Your tips have really helped my games .
Great information. I will be watching this one a lot.
I'm glad this video came up in my suggested list as I struggled last night during league the first two games. I'll be putting these tips to the test today in practice. Thanks, guys!
I can personally vouch for Daniel as a coach. Working with him as brought a lot of "Aha" moments in helping improve my game!
Glad to see you guys back!
Thanks guys. Been bowling pretty good lately. Monday night league came and I felt off in every facet. I was really feeling confused on what to do. Watched this, went to Wednesday league, took a game to get the feel then crushed. Thanks again.
I've realized for a long time that a lot of my problems manifesting at the line were due to wonkiness at setup, but everything I tried to switch up on my own seemed to eventually regress to old behaviors. Basically bad habits that I developed at a young age, but could always power through and never knew I had to work on until my late 30s (THB, casual tourneys, not aspiring pro or anything). I'm four weeks into using the tips here on my setup. I'm not shattering my scores by any means, but the common sense approach to explaining it here has already helped immensely. It's like I can almost start focusing on improving aspects beyond my setup again.
Same here and now I am in a league and need to step my game up!!! Ha
Awesome points! Especially the foot and hand position part. I see quite a few league bowlers (crankers) who constantly start their feet with the right foot back and with their hand really cupped or even twisted negatively on the inside part of the ball.
You are right... whatever hand position you think your holding in the setup is lost during the back swing, I've seen that on my own videos from my practice sessions.
Thank you guys for the helpful video.
I am going back to the basics allready found my timing is off on my second step this should help quite a bit.
Super great advice
Nice tips! The bonus tip on tossing the ball and catching it, to find your natural height to hold a ball makes a lot of sense! By doing that exercise we should find the strongest position where our arms would be to support the heavy weight that is the bowling ball.
The way I see it, if you toss the ball up, your body naturally wants to catch the ball at the point where the arms will be at their strongest, as we subconsciously know that the bowling ball is a heavy weight coming down towards our feet.
Hence the body wouldn't want to catch the ball too high, as our arms would lack the strength and support, or too low, as it would mean our back, or knees would have to bend and buckle down to catch the ball lower, making it a really unnatural position to catch that dropping, heavy weight.
Just watched your guys holiday doubles video and you all ended with can't wait for 2020. So I'm blaming y'all for this year lol but I'm in Vegas so when y'all come out I'll let you know about it
I made the mistake of over extending my wrist, sprained it sadly
Latinoamérica present, great Teacher, Brad great
i hope this will help me my game is all scred up just started bowling again since the shutdown also being 62 with a artrithis in my knee dont help and the bowling balls i been using was missed drilled i live in a area where we dont have alot when it comes to ball drillers living in the appalachia ky plus putting on 20lbs during this covid so i hope this helps
I can vouch for wrist injuries from cupped wrist at setup...it’s a hard habit to break without a wrist guard. I wear that occasionally to stop me from cupping vs stopping the weak wrist.
I struggle with my bowling stance I will remember this stance as a stroker in bowling.
Very good. What is a setup for a senior(78) 5 step 190's average.
I am so competitive, I love it
Hi, great videos! Is there a pay service wherein I send you some videos and you can evaluate them?
I always wondered if I was approaching right but I see I have been but would be 2nd guessing myself as well.
Okay great tips. How would you attack the lane say if you were standing on 30 or 35 and trying to swing it to the 10 board? Do you walk up to 30 and 35 dots and release out to the 10 board or do you walk to the 10 board at a diagonal angle?
I think they have better videos for this question, but you're missing a variable in your question. Generally "drifting" with your feet is undesirable unless it's a consistent drift that you execute on every shot. What you're missing in your question is your mark at the arrows or front dots to create the correct angle when your breakpoint is the 10 board. You can swing to the 10 board all day long from anywhere, but if you aren't creating the proper entry angle it doesn't matter where you start with your feet. For example, your mark at the arrows might be 15, swinging to breakpoint at 10. Your footwork should get you lined up to hit the nearer mark with your swing mechanics projecting the ball through that mark to your breakpoint. If you're drifting more than a couple boards to do that, you're setting up in the wrong spot.
My league started last Monday thought I would be rusty after the long layoff for the virus and surprisingly I shot a 225 and a 233 the first 2 games of the night.
hey wanted to ask brad kyel n the coach does 16 versus15 pond balls will make a difference in my back swing will it make it go higher or not thanks for the info keep it uo
Thanks again guys I can't wait show my 6year old
How do you get your arm higher on the backswing? My shoulder does not like to get as high as you guys do yours!
How is your weight distributed, on your heels or more forward?
Thanks
May i asking something, How to teach kids about 8yo to do pratices bowling? Any tips to do sir ? Thanks
I've been dealing with a lot of wrist pain due to bowling. I've tried different wrist supports so far and nothing has helped. The pain never comes while I'm actually bowling though. I'll be fine while I'm at the lanes but a couple hours later it will set in and it's usually at its worst the next morning. I just went a month without bowling, trying to let it fully heal and then went back again this past Saturday and I'm right back into the cycle. At this point I'm worried about possibly needing surgery. I don't have access to a coach nearby so any advice for Brad & Kyle or any viewers would be welcome!
Because of these videos I now have better form. Thanks.
I’m curious for two Handed do you still hold the ball weigh with your other hand at the start?
I love the intro song... anyone know what it is?
Almost 400 likes and not a single dislike. Seems like you're doing something right :-)
Do I mirror this if I'm left handed?
Any tips on how to "wake up" all the bowling muscles, I started a league last night and holy crap everything hurts!!!
10 lb dumbbell curls and standard stretches for leg muscles, this helps me
This is how I operate, simple is better. This game is already complicated enough trying to figure out what ball to use and oil pattern/breakdown. Why make it harder than it needs to be? Not to mention good stance or starting position takes less energy therefor reducing fatigue.
Awesome
Sooooo what’s the feet position???
You guys should do a video where you trade arsenals but only get 2 balls each
What rank is the coach?
Boy you guys would hate me lol I am wrong foot bowler with 219 avg
1 300
2 299
I loveee watching your videos but being a two-handed bowler some tips dont suit me well. Maybe bring a two-hander on the show and give some tips as well!
Agreed! I spent the whole time trying to think how to adapt this advice to the 2h style
I don’t even think we’ll be able to bowl again in southern CA until 2021 which is depressing.
Why did akyle get hurt and why were you not at the Ebonite step ladders
Outside the shoulder or inside the shoulder. He was saying one thing and pointing at a different. Just want to be clear
What's the best set of clothes to wear for league?
Comfy clothes, loose but not too loose lol.
what about a video, you teaching a beginner or non-bowler?
Haven't bowled in a year.
It doesn't help to get assistance(coaching) if you're not in KCMO
Добрый день....
Не плохо было бы перевод на русский язык))
kyle
Bruh I was like Daniel who that's Jason Couch until I actually started him down.
Pretty sure i do all this anyway. Naturally after a while, you just do all these things
Kiss
How bad was your partner hurt
Way too much talking and no actual showing how.
Kinda refreshing seeing some one else give tips, I do not know the guy but I find it ironic that two losers want to give bowling tips as far as I am concerned they have never won a tour.
I see, so in your world giving coaching tips means you have to have won a tour championship. That is bad news for all the certified coaches at the gold, silver and bronze level who teach across the country. Brad and Kyle are professional bowlers. I think they know what they are doing. I find it ironic that someone who has never participated in professional bowling feels he can freely call other professional bowlers losers.
