Reese vs Clark. It's a classic basketball rivalry whether Clark wants to admit it or not. Both her and Angel competed for a college championship. Both are in a neck & neck battle for ROTY. Both are battling for dominance at to who the face of the league will be. Both their teams will be competing for WNBA titles. Both are by far the top rookies of the greatest rookie class in WNBA history. Both will compete for WNBA MVP. It is a classic, competitive rivalry similar to Bird vs Magic. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact it gives people more incentive to watch.

Sometimes I'm taken aback by Caitlyn's awareness, maturity, knowledge, and articulation. I find it hard to believe that's she's only 22. In the beginning; having her on the team was somewhat difficult for her teammates and the coaches. They didn't know how to handle this phenom and all the attention that came with her. Now they love her, and she loves them. They are playing for each other, and really, that's what war is all about; going to battle with your sisters. And that is no small reason why they are becoming a very good team. I love watching my Sooners women's BB team, but I've never been interested in the WNBA; now I love watching every game CC is in. That's the Caitlyn Clark Effect, and the women in the WNBA had better start coming along for the ride or the ship is going to sink.

Clark went to college for a sport. She took the same "Easy A" route that many others take in order to maintain a good to decent grade average while balancing the demands of playing for her school. A major in Marketing and a minor in Communication.
At the end of the day, the responsibility falls on the athlete, their parents, and their agent. Everyone has to sit down with interview coaches and learn the basics of interview communication.

With over 15000 more seats available at the United Center and Chicago a major hub for air transportation, this should have been a no brainer business move. Clark realizes the larger the venue, the more Fever fans wearing # 22 Jerseys and giving the Indiana Fever more of a hometown crowd 6th man effect. "THE CAITLIN CLARK EFFECT" been going on throughout her college days!!!

@terry You just gave me the answer to my question much earlier...no, not a question. A suggestion that they should move it for the more revenue it would bring with twice the capacity. They may not because they don't want the "home" team to lose to Indiana AGAIN, with all of the 22 jerseys/shirts in the stands. They'll be there anyway, cheering on the Fever.

I love this section of sound off!! I just got my Indiana jerseys in (4) of Ms CCs jerseys and 2 of the Iowa stars jersey number 22. I only liked the NBA bc of Larry Bird, and Michael Jordan but now I’m crazy about the WNBA bc of Ms CC. I will stay here only bc of her. Ms CC is the very epitome of professionalism, honesty, sincerity, work ethic for her sport, she’s so talented, articulate, her hustle and drive on the court. Her love of her family, she never bad mouths anyone; Ms CC has lit a fire under the WNBA and she is bringing in much needed inspiration, energy and encouragement to those on and off the court. My wife hates sports but now she lets me know when Ms CC is on the tube and my daughter is wearing her extra large jersey on her putter close. If I could fine some car stickers, I’d have them on my truck and travel trailer. Anyone who bad mouths her is just jealous. I’m a huge LSU fan and I’m so let down by Reese’s comments and jealousy of Ms CC. Go CAITLIN!!!!

Caitlin has been an incredibly articulate and intelligent speaker at pressers from her early years at Iowa. My husband and I watched that part of that presser at least 5 times last night because 1) her brilliant words. 2) the look on Christie Sides face when Caitlin made the comment that the only ones seeing the upcoming game as a rivalry was "them" (the media), 3) NaLyssa Smith's reaction with laughter. Those things had us in tears from laughing so hard. If you don't want to hear the truth then don't ask Caitlin the questions because she will give you the truth every damn time. I hope Chennedy and Angel are ready for tomorrow. Fever has already beaten them 2-0 and I'm hoping tomorrow makes it 3-0. Angel will have an aneurysm and Chennedy will probably play the thug, as will Angel. Christie is finally seeing why Caitlin was the very best choice for the first draft pick. The only thing that might have made this team better is if they would have drafted Kate Martin as well. No worries, this team is really starting to gel. Last night was proof of that.
