They have to put Reese in there so certain people don't call them racist. ROTY is clearly Caitlin based on all categories, but certain people have made it a race thing with Reese since Jill Biden invited Iowa to the White House as the runner-ups. That's really all it is. Two talented athletes; one better and now it has become this "race" thing where if people don't acknowledge Angel's accomplishments as much as Caitlin, then they call them racist.

You can’t give that extended understanding on Reese without giving that same to CC. CC impacts the whole game while being guarded the most and hardest than any other wnba player

How can Reese has the "all around game" when she's only over CC in 3 stats (and one of those stats is a 33% 3 pointers which is hilarious since she's only shot three 3 pointers all year long and only made 2 when Clark sings 3 per game ON AVERAGE!)! LOL
Also, 60% of her turnovers were fumbled by her team (not her fault they couldn't catch her passes), but oh! Look at that...once Mitchell and Boston began catching her passes, Clarks turnovers plummeted.

Caitlyn gets rebounds because the other team vacates the Offensive Rebounds and gets back on defense because they know if they don’t, they’ll get burned by her next n the fast break. ROTY!
If Angel had a season ending injury it wouldn't affect anything. The game would go on. NOW on the other hand if Caitlin Clark suffered a season ending injury the WNBA would lose MILLIONS and it would be the injury heard around the world. Caitlin IMPACTS the game. AR just plays it. The ROTY this year seems a bit "so what". The story is ... we have this Rookie Caitlin Clark who has become the FACE of the WNBA. She is the NOVA. Everything pales in comparison to Caitlin's Impact.

No point guard in WNBA history has won the ROTY, it goes to a big. Regardless what Clark does they will not give it to her because they do not value play makers and point guards. Like the ladies here. Clark did something that has never been done in WNBA history and basically they said "by the way CC got a record" Dismissing that 990 rookies and in 28 years this was the first. I would love to be wrong, but Angel will be ROTY. At first. Catching your own fails is not a accomplishment. But what does A.R. for her team. approximatly nothing. How many off. reb. against def. reb. has A.R. She is a good player, but nothing special. On the other side we have C.C. Her stats speaks for herself and the opponents defensiv gameplan against the Fever and C.C. But wait for the allstar-game.
