She recorded some good stuff in the 70's: great versions of Van Morrison's 'Tupelo Honey' & David Gates' 'Other side of life,' both from the excellent Cameo album. Then she recorded 'I'd rather leave while I'm in love' before Rita Coolidge, who had the hit, with a more commercial arrangement. I never heard Dusty give a bad performance.
The lost years anyone have more info on the cover versions Dusty recorded in U.S.A in early 70s its reported she did a good cover album of Roberta Flack
Tx U for posting this. 3 QUESTIONS....1/ Does anyone know the name of the Canadian man intinterviewing Dusty & is that whole interview on YT?2/ A pic from the late 70's era of Dusty w/ Olivia Newton John and Rod Stewart .... I think it is an LP listening party. Does anyone know for who's LP was this for? Txs !
Th recording industry is a very ugly business and if you have a thin skin you won't last very long! What was even worse was she was living "in the closet" and that compounded with booze only makes it worse..

G Power it was Dusty’s album ‘It Begins Again’ in February 1978 to celebrate the first released album in five years😊
WHILE HER PERSONAL LIFE HAD SAD TIMES, SHE HAD MANY HITS...IE. BURT BACKRACK, ETC.ETC.
Probably she did best thing when she went to go to live in California...i repeat
I wish she had never gone to the states. Wickham's voice is like nails on a chalkboard, she is a backstabber.
great footage do you have the complete interview with Dusty and Brian Linehan
This is a historic strip. TY
If i don't go wrong she lived in u.s.a for many years
I ignored she did a lot of charity about animals
